MINDBLOWINGBURGERS THEAMBIANCE The place used to be a McDonalds over five years ago, and it remains somewhat similar to the original configuration. It’s a big kitchen, and because it’s a new spot, there’s hardly anyone on the shared dining room.(DONOT let that discourage you). Being in a mall food court has its perks, which means it’s an easier dinner & movie, fast lunch, etc. situation eating, but the competition is fierce, HOWEVER it stands alone as best burger in the court, and pretty much in the entire area.(Sorry, Burger Street, you’ve been replaced) THEFOOD I had one of their many specials: 2 half pound patties in parmesan sourdough bread, avocado, bacon and cheese.(which is a lot of expensive add ons everywhere else, but here it’s all included. SCORE!) Onion rings, and a soda, which were obviously good, but also expected, now to the good part: The genius behind this burger isn’t on fanciful preparation, assembly or any individual parts, but on the imaginative combination of every ingredient, which is designed to bombard you with every possible taste and texture that’s both pleasing and absolutely filling. THEPRICE Cheap as f*ck, worth its weight in gold. THESERVICE Ordered(a bit on a whim, because it all sounded a bit odd and I’m not used to or a fan of gourmet burgers) and the cashier told me it was his favorite burger. Took it with a grain of salt and got the combo. He told me to sit down and they’d bring my food to me. Now this is a mall food court, usually you’re expected to just wait, but not this time. Again, I thought it a little odd, but in a good way. About 5 – 7 minutes later I got freshly-made everything on my table, with all the necessary condiments, napkins, etc. I’m looking at this thing of beauty(I took a photo, but only after eating most of it, sorry, it was good) and wonder what could’ve been done in a better way to make it more satisfying. Nothing, its size, the taste, the smell, the ingredient selection, it was perfection. THEFIFTHSTAR Usually I slash a star for major flaw, which in this case could be the menu. It is big, it’s way too long and maybe confusing, and I’m afraid that usually when a chef is made to mess around with too many recipes, some fall short, BUT until I find that bad egg(which I really hope won’t be the case) I’ll definitely keep coming back to try the rest of their food offerings.
