Overall experience was phenomenal. Customer service was excellent– I was able to celebrate my 21st birthday here and once entering the building to check in, the man acknowledge that it was my birthday and wished me a happy birthday. We got up to the top and the staff also wished me a happy birthday. The atmosphere was so inviting. Once seated we were offered a complimentary appetizer. We also ordered the«Salt & Pepper» Calamari appetizer and it has to be the best calamari we’ve ever eaten. For our entrée I ordered the Braised Lamb Shank«Vindaloo» and it was so flavorful. My boyfriend ordered the Lacquered Chinese Duckling with a side of the House Lo Mein and he loved it. To finish off we ordered the Passion fruit Baked Alaska and the chef personalized it with a «happy birthday» on the plate. Throughout dinner, we didn’t realize we made a full rotation and the view was so breath-taking.

Five Sixty is a revolving restaurant which offers a 360 degree view of Dallas and beyond 560 feet above, an architectural marvel. The premium we paid for the luxury of having a panoramic view without having to change seats came to $ 200 with a shared appetizer, 2 entrées, 2 house sides and 2 desserts plus taxes and 20% gratuity for our family of 4(2adults + 2 kids). I was the designated driver but neither one of us wanted to drink. The water flowed freely as we never saw the bottom of our glass. The kids are well behaved but we took the earlier seating in consideration of other diners having a date night. I just called for reservations when we arrived there but it was the middle of the week. I would take a later seating in the future to watch the sunset. Our server was attentive and the cuisine was Asian inspired with a gourmet flair as only Wolfgang Puck can do. Although a suit and tie is not required, a collared shirt is. For the ladies, flip flops aren’t allowed. Since we celebrated a special occasion, we dressed appropriately. I do love the dress code which adds to the ambiance.

WOW! I wanted to try this place since I moved to Dallas and I am so happy I finally did. Huge tip, don’t book reservations on OpenTable. Call. They have many more times open than it shows on OpenTable for some reason. We went around 7:30pm so we could get daytime views and sunset. We had corn soup, sausage fried rice, chocolate soufflés, scallops, and sushi(all gluten-free). Everything was delicious. Scallops were cooked perfectly and tasted extremely fresh. Sushi was amazing and fresh as well. Corn soup was creamy and flavorful. Soufflés were insanely good. Almost didn’t realize they were gluten free. And fried rice, well that was just great. Cocktails were very cool and good, decent priced. Yes, it’s expensive but I promise for the views, food, and service, it’s worth it. I will definitely be back soon.

5 Stars! FiveSixty was amazing! This my very first time at a rotating restaurant and we came here for dinner to celebrate our 7-year anniversary! This is an elegant and formal, fine dining restaurant. There is a dress code before going up on their elevator. We came on a Sunday evening around 7:30pm. There were a good amount of people dining at the time, but it wasn’t packed. Noise level was decent. There were families and had kids up there as well. They also had a nice looking bar area up there. We sat next to the window and we had a great view of the skyline, city lights and freeways above the city of Dallas. Food portions were decent and it filled me up! I also wasn’t expecting that because knowing that fine dining is the typical small portions of food. We shared the appetizer, organic chicken dumplings. For entrees, we had the Crispy Texas Quail(adequate Amt of 8 pieces), side of fried rice and the steamed«Hong Kong» style Scottish Salmon that came with white rice. Overall it was a great experience dining above the city and enjoyed the city lights at the same time!

We went here for dinner. And the view from the revolving restaurant was very nice. We enjoy our dinner here with my family. A little bit pricey for asian food cruisine but the ambiance and the staff are very nice. We will come back here with my family again. Food was good also.

Beautiful restaurant with a breathtaking view. Really wanted to give this restaurant 5 stars, but the food was not exceptional. Although everything was flavorful and used fresh ingredients, there was nothing unique about the dishes, especially not enough to justify its prices. I had a great experience and would recommend this place to any tourists because of the beautiful view.

I celebrated my birthday here and I had a wonderful time. Sushi was perfect. I had the 9 course meal and it was to die for. I give the chef 5 starts. The champagne was the sweetest I’ve ever had. I recommend everyone in Dallas to visit this restaurant at least once.

If I had a way to rate the various parts of this experience differently I would, but since I don’t, I’ll do so in this review. The drinks are AMAZING. I’d rate those 5 stars. I don’t remember the name of the drink I ordered [no pun intended] but it had 151 and chili syrup in it. So good and it gets the job done if you know what I mean! The appetizers were delicious. 5 stars again. We had the shrimp and lobster spring rolls and some sort of dumplings filled with chicken. I could’ve just kept eating those all night. The entrées weren’t as tasty but they weren’t disgusting either. 3 stars at best. But looking over the Dallas skyline at night with great drinks and good conversation, one trends to not care too much about that after a while. I’d go back for sure. But next time, I’d just do drinks and appetizer plates. Try it out!

I’m at a 3.5 on this place. I was slightly annoyed before walking in for a few reasons. I would look for reservations and I have never found anything except the 530 time. We decided to do it since we heard this was a good experience. I wasn’t sure on the dress code. At the check-in stand downstairs, they actually had a sign with what the dress code was. I guess this is needed since it is a touristy place, but I wondered if I would be turned away when wearing my trendy jeans with a few rips. I just wore regular jeans. If you’re afraid of heights, don’t go here. If you have motion sickness, don’t go here. I have both so I had a hard time. It was much better after my second glass of wine, but you can definitely feel the movement. As far as the food goes, I’m on the fence. Nothing was bad. My favorites were the tempura green beans and the Shanghai noodles. The guys loved the pork buns. We all dug the calamari. The service was excellent and our waters were always full which I appreciate. Even though we ate a ton of food, we were still unsatisfied and went down the street to get a burger. With a bottle of wine and food, our portion was 200. I think for some, this could be a really cool experience. But for me, I’m one and done.

My first time here and I really enjoyed the Asian cuisine. The portions are generous and the staff is super friendly and very personable. Loved our waiter Josh and our server Logan was very funny and informative about the city and background of the restaurant.

Pros for this place: the drinks are unreal, the sushi is five star, and the view is absolutely amazing. Some of the cons though are: the price is extremely high, the wait(unless you have reservations) is unreal, and the service is decent. If want to impress a date or have the best drink of your life come to Wolfgang Puck!

Staying at the Hyatt it was a short walk over to the elevator that takes you up to Five-Sixty. We were prepared for an expensive dinner but will agree with other posts that it is over priced. I felt the entrée prices were fair but sushi, appetizers and sides were high. We started with sashimi — 3 pieces of 3 different fishes for $ 30. We got tiny little slivers of sashimi. Take a pass here. Dinner was good. I had the redfish which was a solid dish.

Our experience here was fantastic! The atmosphere is so wonderful topped off with a beautiful view. We were greeted from the very start, and our server Rj took great care of us. He was very attentive and made our time here more enjoyable. My boyfriend and I went here with our friends that we were visiting. It was our very first time here. The view was splendid as the restaurant is revolving and you are very high up. The food was amazing! First off we started with appetizers. We ordered pork belly pot stickers, Tamarind glazed baby back ribs, and crab cakes. We also had complimentary green beans. The sauce on the baby back ribs was mouth watering, the rest of the appetizers were delicious, and let me tell you about the green beans. The green beans was to die for! I never thought green beans could be so damn good! I need the recipe too! For the main course I ordered the beef filet. Wow, it was cooked just right. The insides were nice and juicy. I loved every bite! I was stuffed. That didn’t stop us from ordering some desserts though. The halo halo was just right. Not too sweet, and not too bland. Overall, the dinner was a great experience here in the restaurant. The service from the staff was amazing! Be prepared to spend more than an average costing restaurant though. We ended up ordering $ 200 worth of drinks. Definitely slow down on the drinks, but the food and the experience is more than worth it. Perfect for that special occasion or moments with your friends and/or lover. Oh, and make sure you reserve early because they get booked fast. We couldn’t make reservations ’till like three days later and the 8:00PM time was taken, but I’m glad we went at 5:30pm because we got to see the view with the sun still there. It gets very dark once the sun goes down.

I’ll be frank here, that ridiculous price tag is for the view not the cruise food. Reunion tower /Wolf Gang Pucks 560 has a great view of Dallas but with a very disappointing dinning experience. Not one dish was done well. I expected to pay a lot. That wasn’t the problem, the problem was mediocre 2 star food at 5 star prices. NEGATIVE: For an app we ordered the spring rolls. This dish looks great but as we ordered it and it arrived in 3 minutes you can tell this was pre-made and microwaved to a luke warm temp. If I’m going to order $ 16 spring rolls have the decency to cook them AFTER I order them. The main course was a lamb shank. I’m a huge lamb fan so I know what to expect. But I wasn’t expecting half the dish to be fat with a lack of flavor and the other half that seemed to be pre-cooked dry rice with no flavor. Really?!? You change $ 40-$ 50 dollars for a plate that wasn’t worth $ 15. The balls of the place… frustrated me to tell you the truth. Even the dessert was a disaster. The Soufflé was an undercooked mess. Truly a blank chocolate river. Positive: Best view in Dallas — Decent service –High priced but elegant drinks. These three things get you three stars. Mr. Puck you need to drop in on these people. They are telling Dallas you can’t cook. (Tip: validate your parking knocks your valet from $ 18-$ 5)

So damn good. This Wolfgang Puck is probably the fanciest restaurant in Dallas. It’s perfect for a special occasion. The view from the Reunion Tower is something that is not easily forgotten. This revolving restaurant will give you a 360 degree view of downtown that you will not get anywhere else except for maybe a private helicopter ride. The food is fantastic. It’s called Asian Fusion, but they have something for everyone. My favorite is the Sea Bass. The salmon and the chicken are also delicious. The wine menu is extensive. I highly recommend the Educated Guess Cabernet. It is reasonably priced and tastes great. The service is impressive too. They don’t just pick anyone to work here. The waitstaff is professional and fast without trying to show you out to free up a table for the next party. They are knowledgeable about the food and wine menus and very friendly. Make a reservation way ahead of time. This place gets full fast. Unless you want dinner at 5:00, you need to book about a week or two in advance.

Food: 6⁄10(+2 for sushi, dumplings, and shrimp tempura) Service: 9⁄10 Value: 2⁄10(you definitely don’t get what you pay for) Ambience: 4⁄10(Way too loud) First time ever with gf and had booked 8:00PM reservation 2 months in advance. The place felt cramped. Little to no privacy and the decibel level was equivalent an Asian fish market. My throat was hurting by the end of the night from just talking to my gf who was only 3 – 4 feet away. It pretty much ruined the scenery and atmosphere, which was supposed to be the selling point. I believe you can opt for the inner half circle booth if you prefer to sit next to and mingle with your date. There was a European couple sitting behind me and were making out at kept staring at us one point according to my gf. Our waiter was attentive and easy to talk with. Beverages were filled promptly, but we could barely understand them half the time when they’re trying to present us each dish due to all the loud background noise. We ordered chef’s 5 and 7 course(huge mistake). Each course was basically $ 19 on average. All of them lacked the ‘wow’ factor you’d expect in a restaurant of such caliber, except for the variety platter(see below). 0 of 5(complimentary) was seasoned green beans. A bit salty and oily overall, 1 of 5(appetizer) was crispy tuna hand roll(7⁄10). Not bad but not worth the price. 2 of 5(appetizer) was sushi platter(8⁄10). Great salmon and Spanish mackerel. King tuna was okay. WIsh they’d serve ootoro instead, though. 3 of 5(appetizer) Variety platter composed in 2 types of dumplings, 2 shrimp tempura, and 2 slabs of beef ribs. Dumplings and shrimp tempura were 10⁄10. Ribs were waaaaaaay waaay over seasoned and too sour(3⁄10). *Extra entrée #1 for the 7 course was a piece of salmon with bok choy and jalapeño(6⁄10). Salmon was cooked perfectly and almost melt in my mouth, but the dish was bland overall. 4 of 5(entrée) was filet mignon with brussels sprouts(5⁄10). It was definitely over-seasoned by itself. I’d add +2 points if it was served with rice. *Extra entrée #2 for the 7 course was giant scallop on top of rice surrounded by Indian curry(6⁄10). I thought the curry tasted like a failed Thai panang curry at first. It’s more pungant and stronger in a bad way. I’m not familiar with Indian cuisine and did not have a fond memory of it(long story), so I’m probably a bit biased. It was edible nonetheless. 5 of 5(dessert) was an average cheesecake with passion fruit(5⁄10). Hardly a $ 19 dish. We arrived around 8:20 pm, finished right before midnight. Each course was about 20 – 25 minutes apart. It did not feel like 3 hours for me nor did I want to get out of there asap even though the food was mediocre and terrible ambience simply because I was too occupied and happy being with my gf to care about time.(Srs) Anyways, what we should have done was order an extra bowl of rice. The flavour of Asian cuisine is too strong to be eaten without some sort of pacifier, such as rice or noodle, in my humble opinion. My advice is to stick with appetizer like sushi and dumplings, use the free complementary valet, and if you insist on ordering an entrée, make sure it comes with rice. i don’t know how good other desserts are but avoid the overpriced cheesecake at all cost. If you decided to go with chef’s x course, I’d suggest purchasing a stitching kit for your wallet ahead of time. It’s been 2 weeks, but the hole in my new Polo wallet is not even half way sealed.(no poverty) tl;dr — Expect loud atmosphere, nice view, good service, great appetizers, over-seasoned entrees, mediocre dessert, a huge hole in your wallet and a mild sore throat as you leave. Whatever you decide to do, please stay safe. Cheers.

Had a wonderful experience this past Tuesday(01⁄19). We had the chef tasting menu with wine pairings and every dish was delightful. There are people more able to eloquently describe the view(gorgeous) and the food(sublime nods to dishes from a variety of Asian origins). But I’d like to highlight the excellent service we received. Our waiter RJ(Robert on the cheque) provided a repository of information on each dish and chose perfect wine pairings alongside them. He was warm, helpful, and appeared at exactly the right moment throughout the night. Dillon assisted RJ in making our evening wonderful as well, and a few other staffmembers who came to our table all brought professional good cheer and great service. Great experience. I can’t wait to go back!

It was half a year ago. The starter of my exploration of $$$$ restaurant. «Five-sixty» is from the height of the restaurant. My friend wanted to go there on valentines day, but obviously the table is too difficult to get a hold of. Just like empire state building, this tower is supposed to be the top point at Dallas, and it is. We drove passed it couple of times, we didn’t realize this is a restaurant until we arrived at the tower. By the way the road to get there is a mess. I spent an extra 20 min around the tower to find the right way and another 20min when I left. Just like every high end restaurant in Dallas, valet parking is right beside the entrance. The fee was quite expensive though. After the front gate you see a purple elevator which will bring you to the floor of the restaurant. You can enjoy the scene outside on your way up. This is a rotating restaurant, with all seating spinning at a low speed. The inner circle is for sushi bar. Server was friendly. I got a tasting menu and 2 of them ended up to be the same with my friends’ orders. The starter, raw tuna was horrible. I specifically said I didn’t want anything raw. I don’t remember much about other food but they are all asian style. The chocolate shuffle my friend ordered was amazing. Since then I fell in love with shuffles. It was not common that by the end of a expensive meal I want to come again, but I would definitely come here again when I get a chance.

I’ve been here about four time now and each time did not disappoint! I was last here for New Years Eve and we ate at the bar. When we checked in there was no wait for the bar but if you want a dinner reservation there would it be no way to get it the same day. Call a couple weeks in advance and probably a couple months for special occasions. The Host called the elevator downstairs and when we stepped into the elevator it had great mood lighting and got to the top floor in a less then a minute. The doors opened and as soon as we stepped in the restaurant the mood and ambiance was very elegant. We were greeted by another host that walked us to the bar area. Wherever you sit in the restaurant your going to get great views of Dallas. I love how the restaurant rotates and you don’t miss a single view. We sat by the window at the bar and can see all the buildings lit up for New Years. Great panoramic of the Dallas Skyline. It was breathtaking! New Years Eve they were only serving sushi at the bar. We ordered the Maine Lobster with chile pesto, California Roll — Alaskan King Crab, Avocado, Cucumber, Tempura Shrimp & Crab Roll — Cucumber, Avocado, Sweet Soy Glaze, with a glass of Rose wine. The portions were pretty small but it definitely had great quality. The seafood was exceptionally fresh and presentation was just as great. It really is a great restaurant for special occasions. It was dim lit with great views, very romantic. It is expensive but you get what you pay for quality food, service and views!
