Ana is a real pro. I had a 1pm appt and i checked out @3pm. She has a great personality and shes a great stylist. Very knowledgable. I appreciate her skill and look forward to visiting her salon again. What a steal for the price she charges. Love my instal!

I went to get my extensions done today, and I absolutely love them!!! ALL of the people working here are very nice and professional. They all greet you and make you feel welcomed. Will definitely be back!

My experience at Good Hair & Co. was pretty awesome! My stylist Ana was very professional and courteous. I have a lot of hair and it’s always hard for me to find someone to deal with it, but I loved my sew-​in and cut. I was out in an hour and a half, which I couldn’t believe because it usually takes at least 2 hours anywhere else.
I’ve researched other salons and Good Hair’s prices are competitive, especially the bundle packages. The salon is so cute and comfortable, with trendy tunes playing, beverages and great girl talk! lol.

Ana is very professional and I am always very pleased with the services. I recommend the hair, it is of great quality. The salon is cute and girly. The business is growing and I highly recommend Good Hair Co.

I happened upon Good Hair as I visited The Koffee Spa next door. Christopher greeted me and found out what I wanted to do with my hair. Points off for no receptionist. Anyway, I like to keep it natural and he said he would have me looking great. Fortunately, he was able to fit me in the next day… and he kept his word. Love, love, love my hair! The salon looked fairly clean, there was lots of food offered and beverages as well. Mostly, I appreciated the total attention I received. Christopher took care of me during my appointment and I got out within 2 hours, and he told me how to maintain it until the next appointment. My hair is bouncing and behaving without a bit of the ‘creamy crack’ and I thank Christopher for that. He is AWESOME and professional. Great job, I’ll be back!

I went to this salon yesterday and boy was I in for a surprise! I booked my appointment online last week and received multiple emails and texts everyday about the upcoming appointment, I didn’t really mind that.
So I get to the shop and I don’t see a definitive parking area (street parking), so I parked in a tiny lot next the the building it was located in. I called the shop trying to make sure that me parking there was ok, but no answer, which I thought was weird seeing how my appointment was in a few minutes.
I walk to the shop and was greeted by Ashley; she was placing one client at the dryer and had another in her chair. I didn’t see a receptionist which would explain why I didn’t get an answer when I called. As far as décor, I get the look they were going for, industrial chic, it looked pretty nice. So I got to the shop at 11:40, but didn’t go inside until 11:53 just in case she needed to finish up on another client. Luckily I had washed my hair the day before so I didn’t have to go through that process. She moves one of the clients to another chair and starts braiding my hair, then stops goes to the client under the dryer and finishes her hair, then moves on to finally start braiding my hair. By the time she was finished braiding my hair, it was about 2pm. She did half of my head and went back to the other client she had sitting in the chair. So by this time I’m so hungry because I didn’t want to be late for my appointment, I just decided to leave and I would just grab something after I left. Not knowing that I wouldn’t leave the shop until 4:30, I was starving.
I was disappointed in the customer service. Now my hair looks great, however I thought the whole point of me booking an appointment would be that I was finished in a timely matter. Maybe it was an off day or someone overbooked, I don’t know. But in my experience of getting my hair done, I have never had to deal with a stylist who overbooked. I don’t enjoy staying in a salon all day; I had other things I planned on doing but since I was stuck there for longer than I expected I had to cancel. I would suggest they hire a receptionist and maybe an assistant stylist because that was very unprofessional.

This company needs to be closed down. It is owned and or managed by someone who should not own or manage a company, unfortunately. I moved to Dallas and I was heading to different salons comparing services, prices, customer service, salons and overall atmosphere. I take my hair rather seriously. I visited the shop before I ever booked an appointment. The shop was average if you are use to going to subpar salons. I myself look for cleanliness prices and efficiency most. It looked kind of clean but the salon was questionable in various areas. I decided to make an appointment. I left multiple voicemails before my phone call was returned about a week later. I liked the prices and that was about the only thing I liked about this salon. The owner called me back finally; we made an appointment. Before my appointment date I called her multiple times AGAIN — there was no response; the reason I was trying to reach the stylist was so I can ask a question for me to be better prepared on what to bring. The day of my appointment I decided to just head down there for my time slot anyways. I was almost at the shop and the owner finally called me and said she had to reschedule! I was utterly shocked and disappointed at the lack of customer service, efficiency and consideration; but for some reason I agreed. This time I called to make sure that she was going to make her appointment. I called three days ahead of time; then the day before and the day of my rescheduled appointment !! She never responded to my voicemail!!! Again I headed down to the shop for my appointment; although reluctant; and I get a call again when I’m almost there from the owner! She tells me that she could not provide me service at all because her shop was not competent enough to provide the service! I could not believe it!!! Stay away!!! They are rude, Inconsiderate and just down right unprofessional.

I’m very difficult to please when it comes to hair. But I had an amazing experience at this salon.
I love the centralized location! Akard street is literally 6 minutes away from me! The salon itself has an awesome. I loves the look and feel concrete floors gave it a nice industrial feel but the white fluffy rugs and pink accents made it feel cosy.
The menu of services was witty and cute, but also showcased the owners knowledge of her craft and increased my belief in her credibility.
Ana knows how to work with the hair you have. Multiple types of install for any hair type!
Why 4 stars? Two reasons — I did have to wait a long time to get my hair done, but in Ana’s defense, she is in HIGH demand. And frankly I wasn’t late for anything, but I was a little bored until I got into the chair. Secondly, and this is solely a preference thing, I wish I brought hair with me. She did match the color perfectly when she died it. However I usually feel like I have more hair in my head whenever I’m wearing 2 bags.
This salon exceeded my expectations and I would definitely recommend it to anyone. Make your appointment asap and you will not be disappointed!

Very disappointed with the level of customer service I received here. I booked my appointment online with no trouble at all. I found it nice that it was so easy to book. I called the following day to speak with Ana Thomas to see if perhaps I could get an earlier appt as 11:00 was the earliest time slot available. I never was able to speak with her was told that whatever is available online is all there is. I replied okay. I continued to get email and text reminders of my upcoming appt. Everyday was text or email reminder… a little too much. I drove the 57 miles to the salon arrived 3 minutes after my appt time and no one is there. I check my text and email only to find my contact information other than the address. The only number online is to the salon and no one answered. I left several messages. I emailed asking if someone was coming but running late. Tried to facebook message. I waited 45 mins, no one came, called, email, or text me. I drove back, now have wasted about 3 hours. Still almost a week later no one has contacted me to apologized. I have never been treated so poorly by a hair salon. Poorly run business.

Ana has been my stylist since I was in college in Austin at UT. Although, I left her for a while I had to come back because of her professionalism and attention to my mane. I’m a natural hair girl, but whether natural or relaxed, new install or simply maintenance, Ana will leave your hair slayed! She also has two other stylist in her salon whom do a great job as well.
