This is an unassuming chicken and rice store-front near a strip mall where Fiesta grocery store is located on the 3400 block of West Illinois. About eight tables to eat in or order to go. I was pleased to find that they also offer several Chinese food dishes. I ordered the General Tso’s chicken. Lunch plates are about a dollar cheaper than dinners. Ordered mine to go. I was very pleased with the generous portion of chicken and the very delicious sauce. The eggroll included with lunch plate was OK. The sauce that came with the General Tso’s chicken was excellent. I was pleasantly surprised. I will be back again as the food was served hot and fresh and is a great value.

I don’t care what time I go to get food there they never have enough steamed rice or syeamed rice at all. When I got I spend at least about $ 35.00 or more. So I guess that I will have to find some place else to get my food from now on.

Not sure of the relationship between this place and the«original» Chicken & Rice just down the street, but here we go. This one’s in a Fiesta anchored strip mall. The inside is looking pretty worse for wear, but seems to be halfway clean despite the condition of the interior. I ordered combination fried rice. It was mediocre, but I can’t complain about it. The iced tea was kinda weird, but I’m new to eating in the Oak Cliff area and don’t know if water supply is to blame. All in all, it was fairly priced, close to work, and a filling meal, but not a whole lot more.
