This pizza is really terrible. Toppings were not fresh, my crust was hard and burnt and too thick. The cheese tasted frozen and was rubbery. If you had told me it was an expensive frozen pizza from Kroger I would have believed it. Not to mention the service was horrible. We waited 10 min just to get silverware and drinks. The«waitress» ignored us the entire time. I really wish Firecrust was still open. Don’t waste your money.

Great casual atmosphere. The food is delicious I really like the stuffed meatball appetizer and the pepperoni pizza. The pizza crust is delicious and not to heavy. We like Grimaldi’s and this is definitely closer to our home and just as yummy! They have very cold beer and a decent wine selection. The happy hour prices are fabulous! We went at 6ish on a Tuesday night and it was a good mix of crowd def a place you can take kids.

Service was truly outstanding. We had pizza and a Ceasar Salad. Pizza was delicious, with thin crust, Tre meat toppings and sauces were impeccable. Really enjoyed this pizza.

Came here during happy hour to check this place out(which they don’t really advertise. so thanks Unilocal for letting me know because it’s a pretty good deal!) Love that they divide the pizza menu between red and white-base sauces! They have some pretty unique flavor combinations that interested me, so I decided to go with the prosciutto and fig white-sauce personal pizza(6-inches). I thought it was yummy! Delicious balance of salty and sweet. The crust wasn’t too thick either. The personal pizza is about the size of a kid’s meal pizza, so not enough for a full meal, but you can also try their $ 5 anti pastas dishes during happy hour which, together, would probably fill you up! They also have personal pizza and salad combos for a decent price too. The set up is a little unusual. You normally order at the counter, and once you pick your seat, servers will take care of you. But an employee told me when it gets busy, waiters will seat you and take your order?(Probably on weekends.) The place itself is also really spacious and nicely decorated. Since the restaurant is still pretty new, there’s definitely lots of seats available during the week so I would recommend coming here and avoid the wait! The servers were also very polite and attentive. I’d come back to try the other pizza and pasta dishes just for the unique flavor combinations you don’t see at every pizza restaurant!

Fresh Neapolitan pizza, attentive staff, and affordable prices! I have been to SPIN! three times and the experiences have been good and gotten better with each visit. First off, the pizza is super tasty! Made with fresh ingredients and interesting combinations. The red sauce is a slightly sweeter style red sauce which is well balanced by the toppings. The olive oil based/«white» pizza have a very flavorful olive oil that does not over saturate the pizza. The first two times it was not busy so the place was quiet and the friendly wait staff had ample time to be attentive refilling drinks but not bothersome. The third visit when they were packed to the brim impressed me most… We had ordered one pizza as well as a flat bread appetizer. Although it took a bit of time to get our drinks out(2 waters and a cider) the pizza came out in a reasonable amount of time(~10−15 min) especially given that there were no open seats and a line snaking to the door. When a member of the wait staff came back to check on us after we had our pizza for a bit we mentioned the missing flat bread and the waiter was immediately apologetic and asked is we wanted it served now or wrapped up to go. The«to-go» option was perfect for us. In the mean time as we continued to enjoy our pizza another member of the wait staff apologized about the missing flat bread and the manager came out to offer apologies and complimentary gelato(again for there or to-go). Given how busy the place was I was not going to make a stink as long as the flat bread was either delivered or taken off of our bill however the immediate response from the manager and wait staff was more than I have experienced in other situations. I appreciated the attentiveness for fixing the problem and the overall courtesy of the wait staff. I was most likely going to return to SPIN! for the tasty affordable pizza but the wonderful staff have made me want to become a regular because they want everyone to enjoy their experience! I hope they keep it up!

Pizza 2 Location 4.5 Parking 4.5(we got rock star parking up front so I should give 5 but that might have been a fluke) Value 2.5 Ambiance 4.5 Service 5 Overall not a bad place Good & cheap flatbread appetizer — will return for that! Nice & fresh salad, dressing was tasty. Will not return for the pizza, there are way too many other places with better pizza. I will be back to try the sandwiches. Pizza was okay, crust good, topping selection good, price for size & toppings was too high, sauce was tasteless. Btw the personal size is too small for the $ 13 price

We tried Spin this evening and it was fantastic. We had a 12 inch pepperoni for the kids and a 12 inch sausage and apples for us. Both were very good and the sausage and apples was a real standout. DELICIOUS! We loved the subtle sprinkle of pecans.(We also did wheat crust for both which was excellent). We also had the Caesar with fresh Parmesan shavings and a tasty little side of seasoned bread/crust goodness. And — gelato! Yum. There are kid sizes that are a nice small portion if you’re trying to take it easy. Our server was great and the food was very, very tasty. We will definitely be back!

Great pizza and very attentive service. I ordered the prosciutto and fig pizza and it was the best I’ve had. The generous amounts of prosciutto are very unique as most restaurants try to scimp on the expensive meats. This place should do very well.

First time visitors and cashier was sincere and friendly explaining the menu and ordering procedure. Bbq chicken/pineapple pizza was flavorful but we liked the Primavera the best especially with the goat cheese. Blt salad was okay and will order the Caesar next time as recommended. Servers were very polite but still a bit clunky. They noticed the empty plates but not the need for refills. Enthusiastic manager stopped by and genuinely asked about our experience and shared how the business was growing and a bit of the company’s history. Will go back another time and try other recommendations.

This is such a cute little spot to grab dinner! I went with two friends and we enjoyed the $ 15 all bottles of wine happy hour — what a great deal! The employees there were so friendly and helpful. They explained the menu and options. Our food was very good. I got a six inch chicken pesto pizza and small Caesar salad for about $ 10. I love that they have a whole wheat and gluten free option for the crust. My only issue with the food was that the chicken on the pizza tasted like a frozen weight watchers pizza. It was chopped and tasted like it had been frozen and thawed. If the chunks of chicken had been slightly bigger and more fresh tasting — this would have been a 5 star experience. I’ll definitely go back and try some more of the menu. Overall, it’s a great spot for a quick-ish meal that isn’t fast food and has a nice ambiance for sitting down.

Been here twice since it has opened. Great little casual pizza joint in the SMU area. You place your order at the cashier, and a server later brings your food/drinks. A highly efficient model that somehow manages not to feel like a cheap restaurant. The service staff check on you frequently so you don’t feel neglected. I was going to give 5 stars but service was suboptimal on our second visit(not getting plates or silverware, getting our drinks spilled on the table) I forgive them because the food is good. The space is bright and open. The prices are reasonable. They have a great special where you can get any pizza and salad(lunch sized portion) for 10 bucks. I like their selection of draft beers. tip: get the wheat crust

Spin is a decent place to get a pizza or a beer. There are plenty of TV’s in case you want to catch a game and it’s a pleasant enough space. The salads looked good but I haven’t tried them yet. If you’re coming for the pizza, just be prepared that it’s average but nothing special. The name caught me: Spin Neapolitan Pizza… sorry but I read Neapolitan and I’m immediately thinking Cane Rosso, and getting all excited that there’s some quick fired pizza even closer to my house. WRONG. Cane Rosso’s sublime pizza is on an entirely different plane, with ingredients from an alternate universe compared to Spin. Spin’s pizza is perfectly fine, but it’s much closer to a pizza hut than what I really like. The dough seemed to be slathered in some kind of garlic oil that tasted good back when I was 12 years old. The crust is much thicker, not true neapolitan. Now, maybe I missed something when ordering. Maybe there was a neapolitan style embedded somewhere in their confusing menu but I missed it. Oh, and speaking of missing it, that’s what happened when I placed my order and paid at the counter. I was told to take a seat and there would be wait service from that point on. Well, for me there was no wait service until after 25 minutes when I asked if maybe my pizza had been forgotten(all the later arriving tables had received their food). Yes, yes it was. Apparently the order taker had missed hitting the«send order» button, and my pizza had just sat on eternal hold until I asked. In fairness, I received my soppressata and calabrian chile pizza within about two minutes of asking about my order, and there was a clumsy attempt to apologize for the mistake. They said they routed someone else’s pizza to me once they realized what happened. Heck, it’s their first week so that’s totally cool, although if they really wanted to impress a first time guest, then maybe a «here’s a dessert on the house» or some other gesture would have been nice. So the pizza was OK. Not great. Not bad. I liked the space. I would get a beer and try something else on the menu but I’m not excited to go back that quickly. My three star review doesn’t take into account the ordering hiccup… it’s solely based on the food.

Yesterday, I went over to see the new place. They open on a Monday which in the industry is a great day to open a restaurant. The place look clean and the associates were attentive to your needs. I order a beer, arugula salad and cheese pizza. I didn’t understand the concept of ordering then sit by the bar and wait for your food. I think they should let the people sit by the bar order from the bartender. The reason I said that, I wanted to order another beer but my check was already close. No one ask me for another beer. Missing a great opportunity for up sell.
