My husband had letterpress contact cards made here, and he loves them!

My all time favorite shop in Dallas for the coolest, unique, fun, wild, best gifts ever. Period. Miss the Henderson location but willing to make the drive for the sweet staff, insane jewelry, shirts galore & everything else you didn’t know you wanted or where to find it. This is your place! LOVE, LOVE, LOVE! We Are 1976 is my jam! Make it yours!

We Are 1976 is such a fun shop to visit. Lots of prints, cards, and knick knacks to sift thru. I picked up a pretty great journal last week, too, with little pockets inside for ticket stubs and what not! Definitely check this place out if you’re looking to add some quirky art to add to your walls, or if you need a card to send someone special for almost any occasion — happy birthday, get well, just thinking of you. We Are 1976 can hook you up! The prints range in price, but I think there are a few ~$ 20. The cards are all at least $ 4, be warned, but so cute! And worth it if you want to impress somebody with your«I buy local/handmade» skills… Half the time I don’t buy anything, but even when I don’t, the staff is still hella friendly, which you don’t necessarily find everywhere. They also offer typesetting workshops at this location! I think I’ve seen a terrarium making workshop, too, but that may have only been at the Henderson location. Worth checking their website!

This place is a hidden gem. Located at the very end of the Bishop Ave. strip(across the street from Emporium Pies), the store is sure to please anyone with a creative imagination! They have a ton of very affordable art, stationary, jewelry, and other cool stuff. I especially enjoy looking at the artwork — the peanuts, the seahorse, the colorful birds, etc. These pieces are simple yet so interesting and fun. The owners/workers are very nice and their dog is very friendly too! You can purchase any of their artwork on display and they have a few others stored away in their drawers. They have a variety of frames(big and small, white, gray, black) which can go with any of their art. I made my first purchase and wanted a bigger frame — took only a day for them to call me back saying it was ready! I encourage all of you to stop by and have a look at all the cool stuff. You can definitely spiff up your home/office décor and make all your friends and colleagues jealous!
