Really love this place! Quite little campground on the Washington side of the Columbia, just east of The Dalles. Lots of shade, green grass, with nice clean bathrooms/​showers. The lake is good to swim in, and the wildlife and view is amazing. The only drawback to this place is the trains pass nearby frequently and can wake you at night.

Beautiful landscapes, passing freight trains, bald eagles, blue herons, fishing, swimming, showers, tins of open space, and very few camping spots.
The area is secluded, which means its quiet, in terms of other humans. But, it can fill up quickly and the trains do pass regularly.
Great place.
