great store to visit while your in town and see some good old fashion rustic and hiking gear

Powell, OH
Basic small town gear shop. Decent selection on most stuff. They have ULA and Osprey packs, they didn’t carry any Merrill shoes. Prices are maybe a touch higher than REI and other retailers. Hammock and hammock gear selection is minimal. Like other reviews stated, I think they survive off of AT and Creeper Trail business. Nothing really outstanding or noteworthy, but if you’re in the area and need a piece of gear swing on by.

This place survives off hikers who stumble off the Appalachian Trail into Damascus. They have a pretty good selection of gear, but it needs some improvement. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly enough, but seemed to not take me seriously as a hiker.
