DCOTA Cay

A lovely location near the Griffin exit of 95. I always thought of DCOTA as a teaching institute but while passing its digital billboard on the side of 95, I saw they had restaurant within open to the public. I made a mental note and decided to come.
Parking was $ 3, and it was easy to find being that its in the center of the building nestled under a atrium ceiling and amongst elegant showrooms. The options are your typical American cuisine: salads, sandwiches, burgers, & pasta. The menu is limited but I easily decided on the DCOTA signature burger: red onion marmalade, brie, crispy bacon, avocado, tomatoe, lettuce, and a thick patty of high quality beef. I chose a cesar salad as a side over the fries. It was a large and loaded with fresh grated cheese and plenty of croutons.
Its a quiet spot with a great view. An added plus are the many galleries/​showrooms available mainly on the 1^st and 2^nd floors.

Very disappointed about DCOTA Cay! Went to this restaurant and was not able to order. The chef was literally screaming that we can’t order «to go», to me and another couple of clients that came down to order from this place. I don’t work in DCOTA all the time so is really difficult to order some food when you only have a couple of minutes. I never had any bad experience before, with any of the other employees including the other chef that is extremely nice. She should communicate with clients in a respectful way. I don’t even want to imagine how she talks to her employees!

A fun find near our hotel. We ordered the burger and a Cubano sandwich. The sandwich was just what I wanted and the burger was perfect with the charcoal grilled flavor, melty brie, crisp bacon, and caramelized red onions. I will be dreaming about that one!

This place wasn’t on Unilocal so I thought I’d add it just so ya know…
Turkey sandwich was very good. My friends enjoyed their quesadilla and chicken salad sandwiches too! Nice atmosphere. Service was ok.
