A Flawless Finish

First, the owner, Jack Goneau, is a con man. He hires some painters with addiction problems
\According to those painters, he doesn’t pay them. They did do a good job. But he never finished. He always has excuses for why he fails to show up. Somebody stole food and supplies from the basement. His corporation was administratively dissolved in 2014. I question if the documents that he shows to evidence workmen’s comp and liability are real. He will not be a smooth experience. You are better off painting yourself. He always has an excuse. His mother is in the hospital or he is having surgery. You are far better off spending the money on yourself or finding a good painter with integrity. This morning I drove out to his office, 10 North Street, Danvers. There is nothing to indicate that he, Jack Goneau, has a presence there. He has no Massachuswetts Home Improvement Contractor license. His truck is not lettered to indicate that he runs a business. He claims that his checking account was hacked so he wants the checks made out to him personally as he has no checking account for his business. He cannot get any permit for anything. His goal is to rob people with a paintbrush and not a gun. Save your money.
