This place is a little pricy but worth the extra money. You can’t go wrong everything is fresh!

Fish is great as are most of the staff! I’ve lived in town for 30 yrs and have spent a lot of money here. I have to say the tall older blonde who is usually on the cash register is a pill! She rarely smiles or says thank you – she must be family otherwise I don’t know how she is still working here. Every time I go there and she is on the register I try to brace myself. Seriously, I’ve never had a pleasant experience with her! Would be 5 stars if she retired!

I would give this place a zero, but there aren’t any negative or zero stars available. I was told that they would cook the seafood you purchased-boy was that wrong. The line was ridiculously long, and once I got to the front-I specifically asked if the shrimp I wanted to order were«cooked» and«prepared warm», and was told, «YES». So you could only understand my shock when I was given shrimp cocktail(cold shrimp) in a box and charged $ 20. I will NEVER go back there again. This place sucks.

DONOTMISS!!! We look forward to our lobstah rolls from Cherry Street every summer. I picked up eight rolls for $ 12.99 each as well as shrimp dip and crackers. We’ve also bought clam chowdah to go go as well

I’m fortunate to have this Fish Market right in town! Everything is fresh & delicious! Can’t beat the lobster rolls(12.99 currently, simple and to die for!) And the teriyaki marinated salmon & salmon burgers are the best I’ve had! Thanks for turning me on to new healthy foods Cherry St! Great service, great selection, great food!

Great fish market in the North Shore. I have tried other places but keep coming back here. The seafood is fresh and tasty. They have a large selection to choose from, and the place is well kept. The price is similar to other places in the area. The counter service is good but sometimes the place gets busy.

Staff is always very helpful with giving you assistance on what to purchase at this fish market. They have a nice selection of ready to grab items and raw fish. I stop in once in a while and grab some nice swordfish steaks or lobster roles and they are always good.

Great fresh seafood of many varieties. The service is quick and friendly, what more can I say? If you’re in the area and like seafood, get it from here.

Good seafood, poor counter service. On holidays, you can expect a line out the door.

My family has always frequented Cherry St. Fish Market. The best lobster rolls as well as crab rolls! Everything purchased from raw seafood to prepared foods are always perfect! I am so happy that now living in Danvers, I am so close to this location!!!

I came to this location for the first time over the weekend. I was in need of some seafood! The girls working were very helping with getting my first lobster. I’m from the south, we tend to cook crabs all the time! Which isn’t going to happen around here! I was so happy with the service, cleanliness, and overall atmosphere at this place. I got fresh lobster, oysters, and shrimp! It was delicious. Needless to say I will be back this weekend.

Went here today and by 3PM they still had a large, varied selection of fish/shellfish. Very fresh looking haddock, cod and more. Settled on the haddock and it was delicious. This is definitely my go to place for fish and seafood!

Service is fair. I asked for ½ lb of fish from a tall strawberry blonde girl, who’s body language screamed«I don’t care» and she gave me ¾ lb and asked«is that ok». No it was not ok. Over by a little bit is understandable, not ¼ lb. The gang of girls they have working there seem to care more about impressing each other than the customers.

Best seafood around. We’ve been going Cherry St Fish Market since it was actually on Cherry St(it’s now on Hobart). We can always count on them for a great selection of fresh and prepared seafood. Great home made smoked salmon. Fish stock always in stock. Cooked shrimp always impresses. Keep an eye out for native Maine shrimp(around January) — sweet, cheap, and yummy!

This is a real fish market selling high quality fresh seafood with friendly girls behind the counter. They also some small grocery items like bread, seasonings and local Pure Country Milk. The Prices are what you would expect for fresh products . Just so you know it is Cherry Street Fish Market on Hobart Street.

Love Cherry St Fish Market! Always fresh and delish! The crab meat rolls and haddock pie are my favorite quickies! Only 4 stars because I know I can go down to Market Basket and spend less. But I can always trust that Cherry St will be fresh and taste great.

Cue the John Williams JAWS music… I was recently mocked for not being a lobstah lover. I grew up in the Midwest and the closet I ever came to lobstah was Lobster Rock by the B52’s. I am pretty sure anything that requires it to be drenched in butter is very tasty. I am sure there is a plan that anything that is delicious is filled with fat, sugar, salt and high calories. Who said God doesn’t have a sense of humor. I will admit I am intimidated by seafood. I have picked up some knowledge over the years but still a bit gun shy on picking out and preparing seafood. I am much better going out and ordering it but that being said it is not my first choice. Since I am living in New England I better learn fast so not to draw attention to myself. I guess that means I shouldn’t roll in my Red Wings stuff… NOT! The store itself is pretty basic and the staff here was very attentive. I decided to go with the home made crab cakes, stuffed shells and lobster bisque soup. The cakes and shells were great. The soup could have used a bit more salt but the big chucks of lobster made up for it. I will definitely be putting CSFM on my shopping list for all my seafood.

Fresh, tasty, consistent, reasonably priced seafood! If you love seafood, you will really appreciate this place! Used to stop there almost every night to grab something for dinner. So many tasty options to choose from… do I grill(salmon fillets are amazing!) or call ahead to have lobsters steamed and ready for pick up(best fast food I know!), do I add steamers, kabob some scallops or swordfish, pick a lobster roll, savor a soft shell crab when in season, etc. or ask for a suggestion. Everything is amazing there. Service has typically always been very helpful and accommodating. Relatives across the country have raved about the lobsters I had shipped from there as well. Unfortunately moved away from Danvers, so not as convenient. My seafood consumption has dropped drastically as a result. I miss it dearly and still try to swing by whenever in the area.
