Here is a very good Chinese restaurant. It has the best
Chinese food I’ve ever tasted. Our family orders there
every week. I recommended all my family and friends
to eat there, and most of them are very satisfied. I recommend you to try the teriyaki chicken, fried rice,
orange chicken, ect. I am

only asking you to try it, but I am almost positive you
are going to like it. Good food + good service =satisfied

My husband and I order from here ALL of the time! Service is quick, food is very tasty and reasonable prices. I only gave it 4 stars because I’m not a fan of their egg rolls and sometimes the fried rice has to much pork in it. But honestly everything else we get it delicious! Kung pao chicken, fried dumplings, and crab Rangoon are my favorites. Husband gets the general tsao chicken a lot and it’s really good too!

They do not cook their meet thoroughly. Wound up sick with food poisoning for 3 days after eating there. They said it would be 15 minute wait for food and it was more like 5. The chicken was still wet and slimy when I was eating it but by then it was too late. Ended up being sick for 3 days. DO NOT GO THERE

China City. Generic strip-​mall Asian food clone. It’s whatever. But, dude, seriously — I just saw the door-​hanger guy walk through my garden bed and pick something. I would have screamed at him from the window, but I’m a single female and don’t want to start a feud with a stranger who knows where I live.
Seriously, though. Dude. First of all, it’s not that hard to go around the garden bed. It’s ten feet wide, and it’s, like, 65 degrees out — you’re not crossing the feckin’ Mojave. Secondly, don’t pick things growing in someone’s garden. It’s just a crappy move.
China City, there’s no reason for you to exist in the first place. There are literally millions of places exactly like this, and at least a dozen of them are within a ten-​mile radius of this store. But it’s not enough to be yet another barely-​mediocre peddler of food product located between a Verizon store and a credit union — now you’re coming to my house and stomping down my hard work because you need to cut corners wherever corners exist? Screw you! Don’t tread on me! Or on my fiddleheads! I was planning to make a salad out of those!

My grandparents ordered food from them last night. They didn’t get what they ordered and called to tell them. They said nothing we can do and hung up on them. Won’t order from them again

I’m from out of town and only passing through so I am mad that I cannot have China City again. It was very good. My order was correct even with the special changes we requested. Delivery was fast and the food was hot. Some of the best chinese I have had in a while. If I ever return to Davenport, I will order again!

Great food and good price. Service is a little slow, but not usually an issue since we usually order delivery.

Great taste, horrible service. In store customers take a backseat to delivery and call aheads. Waited 25 minute for a quart of fried rice. Loud, rude, cashier was on the phone half the time. Prices are decent, eat in is relatively clean. Would be a great place to eat if it was better staffed.

I used to live about half a mile from this place and it was my go-​to Chinese restaurant for take out (I did eat in a few times, but it’s really more of a take out place and only has the most basic seating which is kind of cramped).
My food has always been excellent. The staff are very friendly and do a great job. I’ve never had to wait too long.
Can you get better Chinese food in the area? Yes. But this place is reasonably priced, and the quality is dependable. Portion sizes are very large, and the service is good.

This place delivers… My office occasionally orders out from them for lunch.
I think the food is ok. It’s nothing to rush back for, but I have found the lunch to be VERY reasonably priced (as long as you order off of the lunch menu), and the meals have a nice enough flavor. A whole bunch of lunch specials at UNDER $ 5, which includes a side of white/​fried rice AND a soup/​eggroll/​soda can.
My only criticism would be that when they call something «spicy», it’s really not so spicy… Not a lot of zing to that so-​called «spice». That said, I ordered a dish with shrimp, and while there was not a LOT of shrimp, the ones in the meal were large and flavorful. none of those dinky little shrimp some places try to pass off as shrimp in your meal.
This isn’t «authentic» chinese food, but honestly, I have yet to find that in the Quad Cities anyway…
