Totally authentic Thai food. Great flavors and service. Highly recommended as a seasoned traveler and big city dweller!

Great place for lunch or dinner. Presentation was very nice(see cute carrot flower) and I am impressed by the quality of food. I ordered the Pad Thai noodles(very safe choice), which was great, but I would encourage you to try some of their other menu items.

Best Thai food. Drove from Peoria and they were remodeling, sad. But will go back again. Usually can’t find anything hot enough she definitely pulled it off. Lips on fire last time.

Flame!!! Definitely coming back! My roommate and I don’t eat meat and they had a great vegetarian — friendly menu. Huge portions and great prices for the quality of food and the work put in to make it A+

This location just reopened this week and is renovated inside. Beautiful décor!!! The sangria is delicious and menu still large options. I think this location is as good if not better than the Moline location. The service was attentive and checked on us several times throughout our meal! Must check out renovations and stay for a great meal!

Got it delivered to us at work, well our coworkers daughter brought to us. That was the first time I had it as I moved here recently, and I got the Pad Thai with chicken. It was delicious! Can’t say anything for the staff as we didn’t go to the restaurant but the amount for the lunch portion was perfect and the quality was high.

WORSTRESTAURANT in the Quad Cities goes to EXOTICTHAI on 53rd Street. They just kicked my two friends and me out of our table because other people wanted it, even though there were three other tables available. We were trying to have a nice last supper out together because my friend is moving to Germany in less than a month. In mid conversation a waitress/manager came over and told us she needed the table. Mind you, we ordered at around 5:30. Her interruption happened at about 6:30. An hour dinner with friends is not unheard of. I have never had anything like that happen before and I definitely let her know that. I spent $ 30 on my meal only to be kicked out. We also all told her we’d never be back and we’d be passing the word along to our friends and family. In one word, RUDE. The manager didn’t even see that what she did was wrong. Unbelievable.

Awful service. Lady was extremely rude when my order was wrong and wouldn’t change it. Not going back to this location. Absolutely love the exotic Thai in Moline but never back to this one.

It’s small and eloquent, food is amazing. Presentation was beautiful on every plate. Best Thai food around.

The smell as we entered, tonite, was intoxicating ! It s 2* outside and it s very warm and inviting here. Good friendly, service! My server personally had the chef prepare my Shrimp and Papaya Salade with a little less spice, which I appreciated! Sadly, there was no papaya in the Salade. It may be off season! Oh well, next time! Actually, now that. I ve finished the Salade, I think I prefer it without Papaya!

Great atmosphere! The servers were great and very attentive. I guess my 3 stars comes solely from the food. The presentation looked great(very Instagram picture worthy) however, I did not completely love the food– it tasted slightly bland. The hot & sour soup was AMAZING though!

I love small places like this. I’m from the Chicago land area and must say this place just blows most of the places I like out of the water.

Really enjoyed all the food and service. Wasn’t super busy so we didn’t have any problem with slow service. Tried the pumpkin curry and it wasn’t all that«pumpkiny» but it was delicious nevertheless. I requested my food to be extra spicy and it was just right. The basil rolls are DELICIOUS. Definitely try those as an appetizer. It isn’t overly priced but it’s not necessarily cheap either. The servers were very friendly and had a good sense of humor. I choked a little on a spice and they all came over to make sure I was ok. Definitely worth a try if you like Thai food! My friend also enjoyed his meal very much, and was pleasantly surprised he enjoyed it as much as he did.

«Exotic» in a restaurant’s name… hm… well, overlooking that mishap, this place is pretty darn good considering where it’s located. My woman is her own woman(feminism!) and she ordered the Thai Hot & Sour soup. She loved it. She wouldn’t stop talking about it. She was passionate about it(feminism?). I got the Spicy Basil Fried Rice and that too was good.

Celebrated our birthdays Sat Dec 12. We got there at 5pm and made reservations, no need, we were the only one’s in there, but but 5:30pm, it was PACKED! We pigged out. We started with the Siam Sampler, I don’t like shrimp but I liked what was on this plate, I loved it all actually. Ordered a side of basil rolls so we could try as well. Good also. I ordered Chicken Pad Thai, yummy and my boyfriend got the Lemongrass Short Ribs, tasty and great charred taste, he was very pleased. I tasted those also, and A+. We were please with cleanliness of restaurant, service and food. We will be back!!! $ 50 for all of our food, I would say reasonable, considering we ate alot. ;)

An oasis of real food in the midst of nasty fried, butter filled Midwest food. Here you can get delicious authentic Thai. Lots of options from soups, noodles and rice bowls and coconut curry dishes. A real nice change of pace. Food is fresh and full of yummy veggies. Their selection of house made hot sauces is great!

I took a friend out for her birthday, she picked out the restaurant. There is a very nice atmosphere, very warm and cozy. The staff was friendly and very helpful in explaining what the things on the menu were. Since this was a first time I ever had Thai food, we got the sampler plates. There was enough on the appetizer and the main entrée for two people to share. The meat vegetables and sauces were excellent, the shrimp and the calamari were both overcooked and a little pricey. overall it was a very pleasant experience.

I’m rarely ever in Iowa, but was in town this past weekend to see my friends boyfriend make his debut at an MMA fight. Prior to the event we stopped here for a late lunch. There was seven in our party and they were able to accommodate us quite well. Everyone in our party enjoyed their food. I had the Broccoli with Beef and it did not disappointment. The beef was tender and the broccoli was sautéed well. A notable mention also goes to Thai Tea. It had a hint of sweetness and was refreshing. Great place to stop at if you are in town or live in the area.

Amazingly delicious food, priced right with a totally authentic Thai atmosphere. The restaurant is very quaint and comfortable; not overly crowded. The price point was mid range as was expected and a great value. I highly recommend the Basil rolls to start your meal. I had the Khao Soi — an authentic northern thailand curry noodle dish that arrives with a complex mix of vegetables and curry flavor. I chose chicken for the protein but pork, beef, tofu, and seafood are available as well. This is a level two in terms of heat they serve(up to three) so I enjoyed asking for extra jalapeño, and chili pepper relish to spice it up even more… Yum!!! The hot green tea accompaniment was perfect. Service was excellent. One of the best places I’ve dined across the mid-west in a long while! Will definitely return the next time I’m in Davenport.

This place is fabulous! We dropped in late on a Thursday evening, so the space wasn’t too crowded. The menu has unique offerings that come in generous portions. My dining partners and I split the Miang Kam and the Fresh Roll. Both were simple yet amazing. For my entrée, I opted for the Spicy String Beans — your choice of meat(I went with the tofu) flash fried with green beans, snow peas, roasted cashew nuts, ground peanuts, and kaffir lime leaves in a mildly spicy red sauce. Though the tofu itself left something to be desired, the rest of the dish was impeccable! I would definitely make a return visit!
