Holy moly this place is good. My 8-YO loves mussels; she ordered the mussels appetizer and loved them. Big flavors – thai basil, ginger, vinegar. We ordered a curry and a rice noodle dish, as well. The flavors were wonderful and they are not afraid to spice things up. Like other reviewers, I like spicy and often have to ask for a 4 or 5 just to get the flavor I want. Not here – medium spice(3) was perfect! The décor is charming and the server was very good(unfortunately, the place was pretty empty). I don’t think the quad cities knows what a gem it has.

Would have given them 5 stars but their menu posted outside was outdated so not only did the meal I ordered have a different type of meat but it also was more expensive. They did not honour the cheaper price. There was only one waitress serving the whole restaurant(lots of seating available!!) but she did an awesome job and took care of everyone quickly from what I saw. My food was delivered quickly and warm. I ordered the Nam Prik Ong with sticky rice off of moms recipes and LOVED it. It is rated one pepper but it was extreeeemely spicy. I am not sensitive to spicy food but I had to eat it super slow to avoid death. Would rate it 2 or 3 peppers. Despite the price mixup still a great value. Really enjoyed my dinner!

AMAZING!!! Can’t believe this boring ass town has such amazing food! Place was dead. Apparently the locals have no idea what they’re missing!!! If you live here, do yourself a favor and try something amazing!

Ordered the first item under Mom’s Recipes — Larb Mae Janla. I like spicy, so debated about ordering spicier than the default ‘3 hot peppers’, but the waiter convinced me to stick with the standard. It was excellent! I topped it off with the Thai Custard & Sticky Rice, topped with coconut and chocolate drizzle — probably don’t have to tell you that it was every bit as delicious as it sounds and the portion size wasn’t overpowering. Definitely worth stopping back on a future trip!

The food was great. Presentation was well done. Best Thai I’ve had in the Midwest in a long time, on par with what you get in Portland.

Delish food. Very comparable to the Tai that I had in NYC. Cute little spot. Tried the Pad Tai, crab Rangoon, spring rolls, spicy Pad Tai, and the cashew chicken. All very yummy!

What a great place! Tried here for lunch with a friend today and we were not disappointed. We both got the lunch special and you get a lot of food. Everything tasted great and was fresh. The service was very friendly and attentive. This would be a great place to get a quick lunch, we were not in a hurry, but we definitely could have been in and out in 45 minutes.

Our new place! Very fresh, great service, yummy choices. I had fiery pad Thai with shrimp and hubby had lion city noodles. Both of them were perfectly spiced with a nice zip to them. We also had fresh rolls with a peanut chili sauce — so good. And we still felt like it was a light lunch. AWESOME!

A new option for downtown Rock Island. Good food, nice service. Usually both owners(husband and wife) are there. They serve all the classics, but since she is actually from Thailand(unlike most other Thai places in the QC), they included some traditional dishes that are not commonly seen in the Menus of Thai restaurants in the U.S. The quality is really good, service is fast. This restaurant adds a little more to the Rick Island downtown revival, another reason to go there.

Its a large place in downtown with good amount of parking. I was the only customer for lunch at 2:30PM, not a surprise. Ambiance can be good if there are more people. This place has a lot of left over furniture and décor from past owners. I will highly recommend them to change a few things and make it more authentic, when they have money. Food was good. I felt like it was prepared very quickly for Thai food. Anyways, it was not excellent but not bad at all. portion sizes are regular so not a chance for me to take leftovers. At the end I was satisfied with my choice of dish and place. But I will not cross the river again just to eat there.

Really impressed! Great food, with only one server that I saw, she was super sweet and attentive. The street balls are a must. Keep in mind, when they say it’s spicy… they mean it! Going back for sure!

So far so good! It’s a new restaurant and they are trying to be the most authentic Thai spot in the QC. They have some kinks to work out as far as service goes and they said they will be getting beer/draft selection soon. You HAVE to try their Street Balls(hehe) funny name but they taste amazing. I will get them every time I go no doubt. Went twice in 1 week, if that tells you anything! I hope this place continues to grow and thrive!

Great place for Thai!!! Better than lemongrass it Exotic Thai! I had the seafood red curry. It. was. Fabulous. I came with others. They had the basil duck, red curry with chicken. The spice level was fantastic. We had the lettuce wraps for an appetizer and it was fantastic! This is a huge addition for the district. Almost makes me want to stay in the Rock Island Holiday Inn again.

this place is awesome. Best Thai I’ve had. I had the Larb Mar Janla(the family’s hometown dish) and it was out of this world. This dish was spicy and left a spicy zing on the tongue(a good one though) the service was great and the restaurant was very clean.

Great northern Thai food in rock island. Good service, big menu, all the dishes I’ve tried so far have been top quality. Cash and card accepted. Lunch portions are definitely big enough, haven’t tried dinner sizes. Be ready for a slight difference in flavor because they do specialize in northern Thai, even if you order items that you would normally get at other Thai restaurants in the QC. Personally I enjoyed the flavor and the spiciness
