So I made an appointment for 10am. Tried to be as relaxed as possible. Showed up early and asked her to just start by taking my blood pressure because that’s been the disqualifier in the past. Instead, she prints out everything, makes me verify it, and puts indication stickers on everything. THEN she takes my BP. Guess what, it’s too high. So I wait a few more minutes and have it taken again. Guess what, it’s come down a few points, but not nearly enough. It was 150⁄106 the second time, which was actually lower than the first time. Okay, so I’m disqualified once again. But I’m pretty sure my blood pressure isn’t that high. So I go to a clinic to have it tested. It’s only about 2 blocks away(over the freeway) so I head in there and show them my original BP. The receptionist sees my BP and gets all excited, sending out an RN almost immediately to see what my deal is. She brought out an automated sphygmomanometer. 125⁄77. Maybe it was the situation that elevated my BP but this is for certain: I am NOT going back to that place. Like ever. It apparently raises my BP.

Went here for a walk in. Friendly staff, easy donation. I still miss the downtown Sacramento location when it had all the great food(before someone snitched), but this one was quick and easy also. BTW, I dont think this is the correct location, it is right around the corner.
