Applebee’s

The food was good and the entire staff is full of Good people here, with good management and a beautiful bar tender that has a great personality.
I was They are going to be renovating the inside before next football season starts! I was so impressed with the service that I left a $ 100 tip.

Attitude here sucks!!! No one here wanted to work. All I heard while trying to figure out what to eat was bitching. Managers and employees were bitching of how bad it sucked to work here. So, I drank a few beers and left. No way in hell I was gonna eat here. First and last time in this place.
Bartender did her job so I’m not upset with her.

So I went about 2:30 on a Friday. I had the Bourbon sirloin, my girlfriend had the ribs… we had the 2 for 25 so we also order an appetizer of onion rings with it and an apple turn over desert… okay first of all I dont know why but the bartender took our order but she was the only busy person in the place a manger brings us our onion rings and scampers off we notice that we didnt get our onion ring sauce… no big… we had ketchup. Then another girl bings out the ribs… then 5 mins later I get my «med rare» sirloin… my steak was a gambit of rare to med from one end to the other… her ribs were dry and tough and they forgot her slaw this time we asked about it the brought her some carrots with cabbage and some dressing put on top ten mins later. Our desert was good but the forgot the Carmel sauce, and they couldn’t understand that even though we order a second scoop of ice cream did we want the second scoop. Over all I will not be back to this apple bees or apple boos as I have stared called it. I do not recommend it to anybody

Worst ever Applebee’s. No one greets you, all the waitress’s at a table talking not working. Our waitress sat us at a table that had pieces of food all over it. Place was not busy on 21 November 2016 @ 1250 PM. Manager was not vivsible.

Worst Applebee’s I’ve ever been too … had the bourbon chicken n potatoes.. it’s like the cook did not care at all because he sent out the driest burnt chicken I’ve ever seen with dried up red potatoes.. I couldn’t believe they for one second thought it was OK to send that food out. … we did send the chicken back n the waiter returned with something edible. … I usually love Applebee’s but I will not be returning to decatur Applebee’s this was the second time we visited this location n left still hungry because the food sucks

My son ordered a club sandwich I ordered a full rack of ribs.
Service was excellent, food came very fast. Nothing special about the club sandwich. The ribs were not the tender falling off the bone kind but they were tasty. They have a choice of sauce for the ribs and I chose the spicy Asian sauce. It was very good, sweet with a little kick at the end. The spiciness creeps on you and is felt more on the second half of the rack.

We got a GREAT server !!! But the bar tender was brushing her hair and my coffee cup had leftover stuff in it not sue what it was. it was black and thick like syurp.

I had the cedar salmon. It was good but could have been made more flavorful. The waitress took very good care of my husband. My glass was empty, his half full. He got another full glass. I never was offered a refill. My plate sat on the table edge ready to be cleared. She finally picked it up on the third trip. The only time she spoke or looked at me was when she took my order. I usually tip 20−25% but her service earned her 15%. The stench around the bar area was nauseating. It had been awhile since our last visit, may be forever before the next one.

Took the family to eat the other night. Waiter completely skipped me when taking drink orders. Strike 1
I ordered a beer. Took me like 20 minutes to get it. Bartender was not busy. I think my server just didn’t put it in based on later experience. Strike 2
Put in our food order and all was going well with appetizers. Once main courses came out, one of my kids didn’t get his meal. Found out it wasn’t even rung up. Strike 3. Strike 4 if you count in the fact they didn’t even offer to comp it or anything to make up for mistake.
And to top it off, we were there for 2 of our kids birthdays and has asked for them to do their Birthday thing for the kids and our waiter completely forgot so we skipped that cause we were very ready to just get out of there.
Manager was at the door as we were leaving and I was going to speak with her but I noticed she was not even greeting or saying anything to anyone leaving which gave me impression she wasn’t too concerned so just skipped it.
Will not be returning.

Worst service ever. It’s like, look guys… I’m basically paying you $ 40 to microwave some food for me – the least you could do is get it to me in a relatively timely fashion and not charge me for things I didn’t order. But at your neighborhood Applebee’s, Decatur friends, that’s far too much to ask for! Aim your expectations at the ground if you’re coerced into coming here.

Food was ok as usual. Very stinky bar!

Very disappointed with the visit here, but I was out of town and wanting to watch
the Texans on MNF… the choices in Decatur Alabama were really slim.
With all due respect to the manager who happened by and asked how my
first visit to an Applebees was, his only response was would you like a dessert?
My steak was way over cooked, 4 little dices of new potato, off colored
broccoli, and the portabella mushroom came out after i was through eating… wtf?
I did get to see the game and the bar tender was way cool on my bar tab though,
thumbs up and enjoy that tip.
