My only regret is that I can’t score with a couple of more stars. The owner /​curator, JD is the consummate professional and Southern gentleman. His advice for framing a gift for a relative was quite different from what I originally wanted, and the results were amazing. Aside from his framing skills, his choice in the artists he displays at the gallery is top notch. His own skill in sculpture and painting is impressive as well. Go by for a visit and you won’t be disappointed. Thanks JD for perfecting a wedding gift for us!

A real jewel in the heart of Decatur. Beautiful artwork serves as your welcoming entrance to a framing shop that does exquisite work. We have entrusted all of our most precious photos, paintings, and mementos to JD Isaacs for framing, and he has never disappointed.

a jewel in Decatur. even if you don’t live in the immediate ‘hood, it’s worth the drive: JD will take excellent care of photos, artwork or anything else you want to make a star on your wall. highly recommended.

I had 4 original paintings of my grandchildren done by friends who are artists. My daughter really wanted these pieces so for Christmas I had them framed with new mats and acid free mats. The kids are now late teens. I loved the pictures so JD suggested that I have them copied on canvas at Kinko’s. That was a great idea. Now my daughter has a set and I have a set. JD is an artist himself so he frames as an artists. I am very pleased with the way the 8 pictures look in my house and my daughter loves hers also. JD is very upfront about his fees so I was not surprised at the price. Good framing is pricey!

expensive but everyone gets 20% off all framing… unless you bought a groupon gift certificate.
example: my medium size piece of art was quoted to cost a little over $ 600 with a linen mat, small shadowbox and 2.5″ wide frame. while it did look nice, i wasn’t expecting that number.
