Best Western Inn Of Del Rio

My family and I came up Friday for a graduation from out of town and decided to stay at this motel after we had looked at others. We rented a total of 4 rooms.
This motel is deplorable. We had to wait past 3pm to check in then weren’t told there was construction happening on rooms above us. There is no lighting in the rooms, btw who still uses fluorescent bulbs at 40w to light a room with no overhead lighting. There are no vents in the bathroom which is horrible not even a window, the furniture is old as hell and what really pissed me off was the showers. I took cold showers every morning which was not fun at all. Also one of the headboards fell considering it was supposed to be attached to the bed which really scared us because we had babies less than a year old traveling with us. I have family living here and travel here and everywhere quite frequently and promise you that I will never ever ever EVER stay at your horrible motel ever again.

Need pest control. A mouse tried to get in our car in the parking lot. Room safes are inoperative and will not be fixed. Pool gate latch is pulling out and too low to meet code. Watch your kids.
Internet is slow and disconnects frequently.
Rooms are large in king rooms. Good variety and friendly service at included breakfast.
Better than average for Del Rio, though we normally stay at LQ.
