Visiting here. Needed shorts and belts. Beggars can’t be choosers ESP In Del Rio. Certainly can find the necessities if you need something more then what you find here then you can shop online.

This is far south from the Mall of America but it offers enough to kill some time. Thank goodness for Marshall’s, you can find nice designer items here. I have had much luck scoring some great deals.

You have to put this mall in context: it exists in the poorest county in Texas, so there aren’t stores like Sak’s or Nordstrom or Macy’s. It’s Ross and Marshall’s and JC Penny’s. There are a couple of discount shoe stores, a store that sells prom dresses and an Applebee’s. There are a few food stands that sell the equivalent of high school football game concession stand food(chips, pickles, hotdogs, nachos), but there isn’t an actual food court. The mall is relatively small and, aside from in the movie theater, I’ve never spent more than an hour there.

Well OK this is defiantly not like the mega malls of the big city, but how can you expect that in little Del Rio? you can’t. I think that this mall adequately serves the needs of what is needed locally. I am actually impressed that there is a bath and body works here, and a Apple bees. Oh and the movie theater is in here too. When I am in town I always like strolling through here and have found some pretty decent sales.

Ewww! What is this sad place I walked into? The Del Rio mall is tiny and doesn’t have much of anything to offer. Several stores open and close frequently. The most depressing store closure they’ve had was the book store. The literature lover inside me was heart broken. Del Rio: please read more. They have Rue 21, Bath & Body Works, Ross, Hibbet Sports, to name a few. Most people drive up to the Eagle Pass mall to get a slight, slight upgrade from this. Upside: Cheap movie night at the Cinemark 8! Their selection is minimal but the prices are great here — take advantage of it. Now, if only the seats were more comfortable…

Small town hang out. Definitely not a mall, when compared to a MALL in larger cities, but for a small Texas town, this is all they have. The ‘anchor’ stores JCPenney, Ross, and Bealls remain in business, how? I remember Del Rio before the mall was built, semi-arid desert brush, with nothing to see for miles. Save your money, and time and make the 150 mile drive to San Antonio.

If you are looking for a place to kill time, not buy anything, and get annoyed at teeny boopers running around, this is the place. This mall pretty much sucks. The Bealls is small with littel selection. The Penney’s is, well, Penney’s. You can’t find anything at Ross because it’s so picked over and things are strewn about everywhere! The food court is dingy stocked with what you can only suspect are day-old snacks. Oh, and there used to be the only bookstore in Del Rio(Waldenbooks), but it closed. Does that tell you anything about this mall/town/area? That’s so so sad. Don’t people read for pleasure anymore??? The only thing worth going to is the movie theater because it’s the only one in Del Rio. In a small town like this, they may as well close down the mall and not allow such establishments.
