Butcher Block… My last meal on earth would be your«Full Round House.» I’ve tried to get my wife to make this miracle concoction and in her failure I’ve considered another. DONOTMISSTHISPLACE! The location looks you may get propositioned by a prostitute, but I assure you it is the BEST breakfast in Denver.

I stopped by the Butcher Block on the way to National Western Stock Show today. Reminded me of back home. I ordered liver and onions and scrambled eggs bacon and a biscuit — all for under $ 7.00 and ITWASGOOD!!! If I lived closer, I’d stop by more often.

I am a lover of greasy spoons and I LOVE this greasy spoon more than most! The fantastic homemade sweet roll was the perfect starter to the lightest biscuits I have ever tasted. The white gravy with smoky sausage was very good, but the biscuits were life changing! The endless cup of coffee have me endlessing running to the rest room the rest of the day, but that’s on my not my attentive firecracker of a waitress, who never let the bottom of my mug see the light of day. The prices are ridiculously low, especially for the quality and portions provided. I look forward to getting back and continuing to work my way through their menu.

Old school diner. Decent food, good/friendly service. I typically go in while I’m waiting on my car in the morning so I grab breakfast. Nothing fancy, just decent food that’ll help you get your day started.

Truck stop /diner atmosphere, with a great breakfast menu. Old folks gravitate here. Pancakes goos. Fast friendly service. Breakfast till 2pm. No Wifi, none within range :(

Good burgers and the best service I have had in along time… and I was wearing a red sox cap. You could tell it was run by a group of nice people.

I really like this place, even though it looks a bit scary from the outside, and the inside is a bit cluttered and kitschy. The cinnamon rolls are really great! The hashbrowns are good too, and the waitstaff is fabulous! Take the risk and head in!

had their giant burger, good bang for the buck. I definitely got a full pound of meat. although seasoning was light but would recommend to anyone who’s looking to get filled up.

This is a great old school diner. I have to admit that I have only had breakfast, but if you want a great greasy spoon type breakfast, this is your place. The biscuits and gravy are perfect. I have had the steak and eggs and for a cheap price it too was great.

While sparse for Unilocal description entries, same Owners as 38th St and 74th Ave Café locations.

A nice little old school diner. Super cheap, which added to the allure of the place when I needed a quick lunch. Tried their fish and chips special, which was exceptional, and a burger, which was OK. The cinnamon rolls are made in house and are pretty tasty; they’ll also sell you half of one if you can’t handle a gigantic roll(I couldn’t!).

This place is a great stopping point if you are A) out at Buy and Build, Cabinets Now or any place near I-70 and Washington and you want an economical lunch in a friendly atmosphere. I ordered the Veggie Beef soup and grilled chicken sandwich and my husband got the cheeseburger and fries. Yes, the fries are pre-cut and from a bag — but still very delicious. They are known for their Man Burger, a ½ pounder that somehow, appears much larger. I would liken it to the size of a frisbee golf frisbee. Good Lord, that’s some meat. Plus I love spinning on the retro bar stools, blue with white leather. Go there! There are three locations and all have different hours, so check ahead.

This fantastic old school diner has been in the same family for 30 years, but goes back at least 40 years prior. Always a restaurant, the austere diner décor hasn’t changed since about 1955. White counters, high ceiling and aquamarine counter stools. A big chalk board with daily specials. Wednesday, announced by the hand written sign, is «BAKEDCHICKENDAY!» But its the enormous breakfasts and giant««blockbuster burger» that makes this blue collar Globeville business so popular. The burger is hand formed and delicious, unfortunately the boxes announcing pre-cut frozen fires were there for me to see. That’s a shame because hand cut fries would take this place over the top! Next time you’re zipping along I-70 jump off at Washington and head north a few blocks and seek out this little gem.

Want a cinnamon roll and cup of coffee in a place that lets you be you and not that pretentious snob you feel you must become in that place that serves $ 6 cinnamon rolls? This is your place. Real people enjoying real food. I suggest the roundhouse with sausage, ham, bacon, served over hash browns with two eggs on the top. Get the whole thing covered in green chili. Call me and I will meet you down there.

This is a blue collar working man’s kind of joint. Breakfast and lunch, hard core greasy spoon. You a man? Well try wrapping yourself around a Block-buster hamburger with cheese and ask for a cooked fresh jalapeño on the side if you have the huevos for it. Feels like home(only not mine but somebody’s). This is for real here and ain’t no imitation.
