112517th location… don’t ask for the girl to repeat anything she says while she has her back to you — you’ll get an attitude thrown at you. this girl is incredibly rude and needs lessons in customer service. the food is average at best.

I love the Evil Bean. Having them in the building is dangerous! Chris in the lobby makes a great cup of coffee and always remembers your order while Ivan upstairs, knows how to make a breakfast sandwich! Big shout out to these guys! Their new location is 1515 Arapahoe St. in the Park Central building. There is a coffee stand in the lobby and a café on the second floor of tower 2.

Success! I have found them located in the Park Central building on the second floor. Same delicious green chilie bagel sandwich is being enjoyed right now. The owners say that they will be reopening the cart on the main floor soon but will serve all the same sandwiches with a full grill until then.

There’s an Evil Bean coffee counter of sorts in the Chase building at 17th between Arapahoe and Lawrence… not in the main building, but in the building attached to the parking garage. Good coffee, nice service, decently priced. I love their Tasmanian Devils on those very tired days… drip coffee with espresso. can’t do no wrong with that. I hear their bagels, breakfast burritos are delicious… and they SMELL delicious. just haven’t taken the plunge to try one out yet.

This place never lets me down when I’m in Denver for lunch. Last I heard they are moving to a coffee cart??? next door. I hope nothing changes, as I really enjoyed there fresh bread!!! Please, someone tell me its still good as I live in South Metro and don’t visit Denver during my lunch hour very often.

I heard they moved to: Park Central building on 15th between Arapahoe and Lawrence with an Evil Bean coffee cart in the loby and Café on 2nd floor of tower 1. I am going to look Monday morning! They have such great bagels, and I am a bagel snob!

I was so excited to try this place. Then when I went very confused. Is this a juice place or a coffee shop??? It is both and it is kinda just smashed together. The name great, and the people are very nice. However, the coffee is terrible! I had a plain latte which I could not even finish. I did try the avocado, tomato, egg, bagel sandwich, it was pretty good but they put mayo on it. Why? WIll not go out of my way to go there.

Well the people are nice but it was some of the worst soup ever. Oh wait: I was at a juice place. Shouldda known. Blargh,

Rude service. Mediocre sandwiches. No lunch specials. Who doesn’t do soup/salad, soup/sandwich these days! I prefer to support local stores, but I won’t bother going back for something I could get a Subway for ½ the price and more toppings.

If your jeans are tight and your fixie is locked up outside, consider heading over to the Market who excels in building crappy, over priced sandwiches, laced with terrible service and a snobby«i support local» attitude — you’ll fit right in. I eat at Jamaica juice almost every day and Im obsessed. Their sandwiches are awesome, service is fast and friendly, and its uncharacteristically cheap for larimer sq. I have sudden cravings for their potato salad and pickle sides. Seriously, try it.

If you’re looking for a hip, fancy-type place, then scoot on over to the Market or Starbucks. I love this place because of it’s laid-back atmosphere, and the wonderful people who work there. They’re happy, friendly, and so helpful! If you’re searching for a macchiato/mocha/latte whatever the heck that is you won’t find it here(which is part of the reason why I love it!). You can also get any of their bagel sandwiches on a croissant(which is delicious and a must-try!) and all of their cookies are homemade and sooo yummy. It’s a wonderful, casual neighborhood place to go.

This place has so much to choose from for breakfast and lunch. I got a turkey sandwich on wheat bread, which was delicious. They also offer a jalepeno bread, which I want to try next time I go there. With my sandwich, I got some great tasting potato salad, and a pickle. Everyone working there was so nice, and my sandwich was made so quickly: the prices on the board include tax, so no extra math needed. Score! They have a big selection of sandwiches, salads, bagels, wraps, and juices. Great find in Writer Sqaure, and plenty of seating outside if you can’t get a seat inside.

The evil bean is cool, I wouldn’t call it anything special. Every time I’ve gotten their drip coffee, it has been really bad; bitter and full of grounds. And I’ll never forget the first time I ever went there, and my request for a mocha was answered with an honest-to-goodness«oh god, really?» So why the three stars? Why would I ever go back to a place like that? Well, the food is pretty good. It’s cheaper than the Market, they have some good hot sandwiches and a totally wonderful ceasar salad, and they have ridiculously cheap breakfast sandwiches in the morning. And also, your sandwich comes with some potato salad that is probably the best I’ve ever had.

The Evil Bean is, in fact, quite evil. They offer you free wi-fi, but only for 15 minutes a day. I can still hear their maniacal laughter ringing in my ears. But that they do have good coffee served by friendly people so I can’t complain too much I suppose. The store is pretty small, but they make up for that with outdoor seating. And all the food I’ve ever had there was indeed tasty. So in summation: The Evil Bean — good for coffee, food, and friendly chatter, but bad for Internet working.

I love coffee. I love food. A place that has both in one location at a reasonable price has won my heart. Everything I have eaten has been stellar. The staff is sincerely friendly. The coffee is totally caffinated. Mmm. Caffinated.

Love the Evil Bean. It is kind of hidden in Writer’s Square, but worth the trip. I walk pass two Starbucks to get to the Evil Bean for coffee in the morning. Heck, I’m not anti-Starbucks, but when given the choice, I’ll go for the local every time. I’ve had lunch there 2 or 3 times and it was great, fast and inexpensive.

I would love to check out this place and be able to give it an actual rating, but every damn time I go there, and believe me, I try a lot… it’s CLOSED. I end up taking the shuttle on 16th to Jamba Juice for another boring smoothie. I really want to try Jamaica Juice, I truly do. Please Jamacia Juice stay open for me just once!

The Evil Bean is a small + interesting shop with fairly wing decorations and pretty delicate chimes and a lot of emptiness, intimately attached to Jamaica Juice”(In fact extremely attachd to Jamaica Juice). Did I mention, overpowered by? Also, attached to Chez Cheese in a «very European-like way.» The main thing here is an ultimate collection of greeting cards ! What a small and contemplative, self-proclaimed, «European style,» space. A funny devil-pitchfork-bean LOGO on the front door.
