Great place to hang out and relax with friends or even get some work done. Challenge your buddies to a game of shuffleboard. Great atmosphere. Fun place to «people-watch» as well. I highly recommend this spot if you are in downtown Denver.

The Terminal Bar is a fantastic place to relax, enjoy burgers, & drinks. Todd was our server & recommended drinks & did an amazing job. Our group had plans before we went to the Terminal Bar, but Todd’s friendliness & knowledge of beer made us want to stay longer. We will be visiting again, very soon!

The Terminal Bar continues to be a place we go when we want to get dolled up and celebrate something. The place tends to be packed — especially on the weekends — so you have to know what you’re getting yourself in to and expect to possibly wait for a seat to open up. The drinks are a bit pricey, which is to be expected at such a central downtown location, but they do the classics up right and have nice seasonal drinks. What I really go for is the ambiance — I love the low lighting and the leather booths. I also love the buzz of Union Station in general, and this bar carries that well and does the«Art Deco» era bar-feel without being kitschy. The most recent time we went, my date had a gin martini and I had the Autumn Chill. The Autumn Chill was the perfect combination of a bit fruity, a bit gin-y and a bit spicy. And while it’s not autumn still, the recent Denver weather sure could fool me.

I was really excited to visit the Terminal Bar. I came in from out of town and it had so much potential. I waited in line for a drink but after 15 minutes not one person had moved. I decided to enter the restaurant and order from the bar. I stood there for 10 minutes and not one person asked if I wanted to be helped or if I needed anything. Granted, there was another gentleman next to me they were very interested in saying hello to and conversate with however asking the party next to him seemed foreign. There’s so much potential. Ambience and atmosphere is great. It was lively for a Tuesday evening. Service is their handicap. Don’t have your snooty bartender question what type of drinks I’m ordering if you’re not even making it right. I would’ve asked to speak to a member of mgmt but I just wanted to get out of there. Drinks — ** Atmosphere — ***** Service — *(Bartenders) Service — ***(Busgirls & Waitresses)

Love the lobby bar and the drinks are great. Service is hit or miss, but it is still my favorite place to grab a cocktail after work

This bar is a very nice fit for a busy place like Union Station. They do have waiter service seating inside, but since all we wanted was a drink in the late afternoon before dinner and a place to people watch in the holiday decorated Main Hall, we took the option to order at the window and sit in the nearby armchairs in the Hall. The selection of many local crafted beers and some ciders too, fit our wants perfectly. I especially like it when there is a choice between a sweet or a dry cider, because often, if there is only one, it is likely to be sweet. I like dry and preferably on tap. Which is what I got. From a local just up the street, Stem Ciders. Perfect. My husband had a local Copper Ale which he had not had before and thought it was great, from Station 26. The staff was efficient and very friendly, and quite busy, though the line was not long and went quickly when we were there. Though they are working a window, do remember to tip them, there is work involved and they will appreciate it. You can leave your empty glasses on the tables near where you sit, they send staff around to keep it clean and take the glasses back into the bar. There is lots of comfortable seating in addition to the benches and the bar stool table. People watching is fun here and we even saw a former neighbor passing through the Hall and got a chance for a short visit.

I definitely like their tap beer selection(28 tap handles, I believe). This is another very nice place to take people who are in town visiting if you want to show off Denver a little bit. The service is always very kind but sometimes can be slower than expected. I think it would be neat if they rotated beers a little bit more often though. I feel like the past few times I’ve been in there the beer list has been very much the same. *I think it’s neat to order a beer at the old ticket window and then go sit down in the lobby area of the station.

Truly gorgeous bar located in the great hall of the beautifully renovated Union Station. Amazing craft beer and cocktail selection all complimented by the truly unreal environment. Great service, quality product, and an energetic and exciting atmosphere are quickly making this one of my favorite bars in Denver.

To be is beautiful, but… The service is terrible. There is generally a long wait, and the staff is amazing at «not noticing you» waiting for a beverage. The prices are high. The location is great — outside and inside, and the views are amazing of this newly redone structure. It’s definitely not a destination for me.

Been coming here pretty much since it opened and they’ve always welcomed our well behaved pups on the patio including yesterday and the three days prior. The staff have always been terrific. However that all changed today when we were greeted by a condescending little number. There was no one else on the patio, just us. We asked for Pellegrino, she says they don’t have any. But we just had them yesterday? She claims they’ve never had them. Hmmmmm… Ok. Then she told us we couldn’t have our pup on the deck in a tone reminiscent of Bill Lumbergh in Office Space. «Mmmmm yeah, we don’t allow dogs on the patio you’ll have to switch tables and leave her on the outside of the patio». We mentioned we’d had them on the patio all week. She scoffed. We left and likely won’t return. Why the recent dog ban I wonder? As guests at the pet friendly Crawford, we thought it was great that we could enjoy this patio with our pugs. Management should definitely rethink this as they lost a nice sale from us today and I imagine from many other patrons with pets staying at the Crawford. Bad business decision in my opinion.

Sooooo I come here every night. I’m that guy. I live a block away and it’s the coolest bar in the area. You must be thinking, «Brett, please. It can’t be that cool.» Well, random person, it is that cool. The setting is awesome; Union Station is just really beautiful now, guys. The staff are friendly; I know a lot of servers and bartenders by name now and I have a crush on no less than 3 of the servers. The beers and cocktails are on fleek; If they weren’t good, then why would I come here every night? Bonus: They serve really good burgers and wings. This is a win for everyone involved. Whether you’re here for night caps or pregames, it is a great time. 10⁄10 I would come here again(probably in a few hours). And if one of you servers I have a crush on is reading this, know that I’ll talk to you one day. I swear.

I really liked the Terminal, it was a great spot to stop in to when visiting the newly renovated Union Station on our recent trip to Denver. I was impressed with the large selection of craft beers on tap and had a delicious brat from ACME next door. It’s a great spot for people watching and they have free shuffleboard. What more could you want!~

The Terminal is a cool spot to grab a drink, but it can pretty crowded on the weekends. If the bar is crowded, I recommend waiting in the line outside of the bar. Drinks prices can be a bit steep, but hey, you’re in the center of Union Station! Tips: — If you’re ordering drinks for a group, you have to show an ID for every person. Make sure you have their IDs. — If you can grab a seat at one of the tables outside the bar, a server will take your order — You can order food from your table! Terminal Bar partners with the burger place inside Union Station — Shuffle board is free! There are 2 tables, just give your ID to the bartender if you wanna play

A unique and interesting location in the newly restored Union Station. Points on for location, atmosphere and potential. Points(and stars) off for the disinterested and surly staff as well as the crowded and odd layout.

I remember living in Connecticut and taking the train to New York– Grand Central station. All of the food, all of the drinks available! Too bad I was like 7 years old and really couldn’t indulge(even though that was kind of at the time my parents weren’t too nervous of me roaming around New York City, since I knew where I was going– even for a 7 year old!) in all of that. Later, I lived in Strasbourg France, and relied heavily on trains. I realized at that point, why a cold drink feels so great when getting on/off a train. It just seems like the right thing to do. By all means, I haven’t used the train yet in Denver, but I live right next to the train station. Every time I walk in Union Station, the large«Terminal Bar» sign is right in my face. I have walked by it plenty of times, but finally, I gave in. Now mind you, this place has a patio, a bar area(with 3 small TVs), a seating area, a walk up window, and another seating area inside the actual station. You are probably wondering«huh?» but I assure you it makes sense when you see it in person. It was Saturday afternoon, and I woke up at about 2PM. Not even being awake for more than 10 minutes, I told my roommate we should go to Union Station to get some drinks. So, we walked there, and decided to check out Terminal Bar. Now, mind you, on Friday and Saturday nights, this place gets crowded, quick. Great for people watching. Not great if you like your drinks served quickly. I guess that is why we have never gone before. On a Saturday afternoon, it was busy, but not overwhelming. The crowd left, settled, and started to fill up again as we left. I liked the atmosphere a lot. The dark walls, the tiling, the blue leather seats with the brass ingots holding the leather against the wood, and of course, the poles that held coats at the end of the booths. The actual bar extended as well to accommodate an extra 8 people. I was surprised to see condiments on the table(as we sat ourselves) — I was expecting this place to not have any food. I then saw the food menu, which was of the place next door– ACME. Good call. The drink menu had about 25+ local beers on tap, along with a few cocktails and wine as well. I decided to get a few pints(I couldn’t believe it, I got carded!). And then order a brat with kraut and fries. The food came out quickly. The brat was solid. The fries were awesome too. After watching my roomie eat his burger, I decided to get one moments after. I really liked the amount of local beer they had on tap here, especially the variety. They all listed the ABV, the style, and where it was brewed. The prices seemed to be not too terrible– OK, I have seen, I have seen worse. My burger came out, and I tell you what. It was the best burger I have ever eaten inside a train station, I can tell you that much! I decided to get a mixed a drink, called the«Greek Economy». Not sure if it was supposed to taste tainted, sour, or what, but I pretty much drank it like a shot(oops). I then went back to try some more beer. The service was on point here as well. Glad to know this place is so close to home. Oh yea, apparently they open at 10AM. Too bad I won’t be taking advantage of that!

I just love the Union Station remodel and Terminal Bar is such a fun place to welcome you in. I love how you can go inside Terminal Bar and have a seat at the bar or a booth with a small group or you can wait in the open bar line within the main floor and have a drink with a larger group. The wine selection is pretty good and the bartenders, although very busy, will make you any cocktail and they know how to make them right. My husband loves the pre-prohibition style cocktails and not a lot of places know how to make those correctly, but he thinks Terminal Bars are spot on. This is a fun place to direct visiting guests to go and a fun gathering spot to meet friends for a drink. Also, a nice option to go for a drink before going to dinner somewhere around or within Union Station.

Terminal Bar is the perfect location to bring family and friends when they’re in town visiting. This place is definitely a must see tourist location. I appreciate the variety of local brews on tap and the ambiance is truly unique and beautiful. There is picnic style seating and also several«lounge» areas in the foyer. Overall great experience.

Obviously the space in the Union Station lobby is chic, spacious, and full of a lot of activity. And the staff was fast and attentive. Though it felt odd to wait in a line, as if you were waiting for a ride at Disney World, to order a drink — the bartender was polite and patient. The layout, as mentioned before, is just that — odd. Not in a bad way, but it’s not a bar. It’s hard to describe. But I like it. It makes sense for the location as the back area that serves as the actual bar is dark and cozy and parlays out into the lobby where there guests of the bar intermingle with the guests of the coexisting businesses of Union Station, and the people waiting for the train. Periodically, a busboy will come around clearing the dispersed community tables and intimate two-person tables, but in order to get another drink, you have to stand back in the queue for your drink. It’s a perfect spot to take guests or come for a pre or post drink or catch up on your shuffleboard game :)

Stopped into Terminal Bar after having lunch nearby. The décor of the bar was really beautiful(to match Union Station). We sat at the bar. I was blown away by the abundance of beers on tap. Even better? They are ALL local Colorado beers!!! They had 30 beers on tap(like I said all local). 3 of which were on Nitro. You could get a full beer, or just like any Brewery in town, you could build your own tasters(comes with 5 beers). The service was very good, and most of the bartenders stopped to have actual conversations with us. I look forward to coming back and experiencing their food, as many people said it was delicious!
