This is a great place to come by for a drink, hang out, relax, and watch a game. The bartenders are cool and the clientele is down to Earth. I always have a good time here. I saw some negative reviews on FaceBook. People complained about being treated ‘rudely’. Well, they wouldn’t be if they weren’t drunk douchebags with attitudes. The staff doesn’t put up with that BS and they shouldn’t have to. I liked the bar’s replies to those people. :) This is a great local bar and I’m glad they’ve reopened after the fire. Welcome back!

The bartender was extremely rude upon arrival. Asking if we were lost just because I didn’t know what i wanted to order at the exact moment she asked. Made an insulting joke to my boyfriend. Nope I won’t go back, thanks to her!

My kind of establishment. The staff was super friendly, the drinks are cheap. We paid $ 20 before tip for 2 shots, 2 drinks & a souvenir shotglass. AMAZING!

Idk, not much to say. The beer is cold and the pool is cheap… But this place is in need of some serious upgrades. I like dive bars, but I don’t like when they smell like dive bars

This bar is friendly and laid back. The drinks are priced right and the staff is friendly. The burgers are good for being microwaved. I have met some very good people there which will be lifelong friends. Good bar.

Had an absolute blast here recently. The bar tenders are amazing. She remembered that I drink cherry grey goose with coke from 6 months ago. The other bar tender had me laughing all night. Nice quiet place to play Cards Against Humanity or put some money in the juke box. The people there were very friendly and all around good people. I can’t wait to go again

What can you say about the Dirty Duck? It’s a total dive bar. LOVEIT! Nice bartenders and pretty good prices on the drinks. Clean. The people are usually just hard working stiffs. I’d recommend stopping by if you’re in the neighborhood.

I had a great experience here a few weeks ago. I came in little after 10 and was ready to mingle. I noticed there was a weird odor near the back – but it smelled like a glue or some kind of an adhesive smell. The tables were clean, and the floors were clean so I think they must have just done repairs or something. The assistant bartender(or something – had a few drinks so details are fuzzy) he was a nice fellow! He was cracking jokes with me at the table and making sure I had a fresh drink. The specials they were doing were just ok… I would have liked more options– well specials are a given .but to get a double shot of whiskey for $ 6 seemed a little steep for me. I don’t smoke cigarettes but the person I was with did, and so I frequented the porch often. Tiny little space, somewhat intimate and personal but it serves its purpose. Decent drinks, decent clean dive bar. overall not a bad time at this place. Will have to return soon!

Inside is bigger and more welcoming than it looks from outside. Good honest bar. Straight forward service. Guinness on tap. Just my second time in and the bartender still recognized me. Only a foosball table or shuffleboard would make it better.

This Place may be a dive, but they have really turned around in the past 6 months. 5 new TVs, serving snack food, burgers, and pizzas. Great prices on beer. Very very friendly staff. They even remember your name when you come back.

This was a fun, hole in the wall dive. The bar staff is very attentive and keeps your drinks full. You can’t go into a dive expecting The Ritz so for what it is, it is top-notch in my books. Played pool, listened to great music. Genuine, nice regulars who made me feel welcome and like I had been coming there forever.

Great little dive bar. The bartender is super cool. The drinks are dirt cheap. There’s a pool table and some snacky foods. Can’t go wrong when you are thirsty! The regulars are all friendly and it’s easy to strike up entertaining conversations.

If you are not willing to make the commitment to becoming a regular here, forget about it. If you are a regular, you will be treated well. If you are just coming in for a drink they will treat you like crap. On the plus side, there is always cocaine available for those who like to powder their beak.

As a fan of dive bars in general, I really like this place. Good drink prices– you get a deal if you order a double ;) Pizzas and burgers are delish and if you’ve never had a pickled egg… You have to try it at least once. I usually don’t leave until I’ve had one! Bartenders are good especially the lady that works at night, Jane. She made us feel so welcome and even shared some homemade chicken noodle soup with us! My bf really likes the nighttime guy also, cuz he is always full of new jokes. Friendly people, bathroom is clean, and close to home, so we will definitely keep on coming back to the duck

I was always skeptical about going into a bar called«the dirty duck.» It’s situated on a weird part of Evans which didn’t help my skepticism. After an afternoon of drinking we decided to end the day here since its not too far from home. We walk in and it’s actually quite cozy. Since its the holiday season, there were lights strung around. The bartender was really friendly and told us about the specials. I opted for a bottle of Angry Orchard. We played some pool and hung out for a good hour and enjoyed ourselves. We also saw that they have a small menu including burgers and pizza that are super cheap.

Good crowd, more welcoming than you’d think. Good drinks decently priced, plus pool tables. The first time we went, there was a very cool and friendly male bartender; the second time, there was a very cool and friendly female bartender. Both times I visited I felt welcomed and appreciated. On our second visit we actually ate the food — burgers with a side of chips. The burgers were okay, nothing to rave about, but they were also $ 4.50. That’s cheap ya’alls, and for the money, it was good. Don’t be intimidated by the divey-ness of the bar. They are friendly and the drinks and company are great.

Okay, yes this place is a dive and the it’s filled with shady looking characters but everyone was really nice to us. The bartender was really attentive to us and very nice and so were the people there. So I’m rating it based on the average Joe who just wants a place to go for cheap drinks and avoid hipsters. The drinks are super cheap but pretty well made. However, I would seriously avoid the food here as it’s bought from a grocery store and microwaved and then served to you with a 500% mark up. In conclusion, a good place for locals that are 30 and over just looking for a place to get drunk with other alcoholics. Otherwise, I would steer clear from here.

Good dive bar… cheap beer, tetanus shot optional. It’s a half way point for my buddy Jay and I so worked out well(plus, it beats the hell out of Hooters on Colorado) Don’t expect much and you’ll leave pleased.

He’s quick with a joke or to light up your smoke… Great, personable, funny as hell bartender. Right off the bat, we traded highly offensive jokes. Perfect! The burger was WAY better than expected, and was accompanied by a(cool from the refrigerator, as we both reached out to test) trio of bottled sauces.(Ketchup, Mustard, Mayo.) Standard, but good. Kudos on the proper refrigeration. This is your Neighborhood Joint at its finest. A true dive bar, and it knows it. You want cracking, sagging, old vinyl on booths that move when you sit in them? Check. You want eccentric wall decorations, from Deer Piñata to Neon Rubber Duckies? Check. Patrons from sketchy neighborhood drunks to loud younger people to the sadly WalMartEsque Drunk Woman to pool players and more? Yup. A friend moved nearby, and as I was helping him move, and saw this place, naturally I said«Man, we GOTTA Check that out!» So we did. The beer was okay… but cheap… so it evens out from great yet expensive beer. This is a local bar, not a brewery, so I’ll forgive them the slightly flat Guinness. Especially because we can walk back to my friends house after too many of them. And when it’s served with personality and(questionable) atmosphere, and a damn good-for-the-$ 3-Pricetag Burger… We have a winner.
