Sea Mountain Nude Resort & Spa Hotel

We LOVE this place! It was a big surprise after driving through Desert Hot Springs to find a lush, tropical paradise waiting behind the doors.
This place is a hidden gem, a little boutique hotel with outstanding rooms, luxurious beds, a delicious mineral water pool, a comfortable hot tub, sauna, massage, welcoming employees, and friendly guests.
Be advised: Pick your visit times according to your ideal brand of fun.
Mid-​week visits are quite, relaxing, and a great way to get casual and de-​stress.
Weekends are great parties going until the early mornings.
Holidays are a bit crowded and Chaotic (particularly in the hot tub and pool) but if you are lifestyle party animals, you’ll be right at home!
The «Day spa» couples pass is a great way to get a feel for the place.
We probably would have never visited Desert Hot Springs if it hadn’t been for the great word-​of-​mouth on this club, but since visiting we have found a few great restaurants and out-​of-​the way spots in this quirky desert town.

This is the cleanest, classiest place on earth. If you are blessed enough to come here count your lucky stars. The owner is the most gracious man you’ve ever met and the place is gorgeous. Classy people!

Went for the first time last Saturday. Had a great time. The resort is intimate and very well maintained. Landscaping and décor are all geared towards relaxation. Friendly staff very willing to help with whatever you need to make your stay more enjoyable. Ask about the amazing Orange drink they mix at the resort… AMAZING! Dewey, the owner works hard to make sure everyone’s enjoying themselves! We will return soon! It’s the ONLY reason to visit Desert Hot Springs.

This is not a joke or a competitor. I purchased time in your club to which I traveled a great distance to attend only to be told at the door that I couldn’t get in and I would not be refunded. I asked to speak to manager and was told No. Therefore, yes you did steal my money and I will advise that no one patronize your establishment.

What a treat! I must admit, I was hesitant about going at first because I had never experienced something like Sea Mountain. However, after coming highly recommended by several friends, I decided to go. I was so pleasantly surprised! Not only were the staff incredible, the accommodations were lovely and the guests were so friendly! I can’t wait to go back!

Stayed here for the first time after much encouragement from my lady. After a couple cocktails I mellowed out and had a very pleasurable experience. Can’t wait to return.

Found this place on an aimless road trip and ended up staying the rest of the trip there. It’s great.

I’ll admit, I wasn’t sure about going here at first, but after a recommendation from a friend, my husband and I decided to treat ourselves to a new and exciting experience. We have no regrets… we were transported into another place to be free of our day to day stress and reconnect with each other. We really enjoyed our stay and loved the great staff! My experience, at Sea Mountain, was beyond what any doctor could’ve ordered! 3 fantastic nights was all it took to make this my kink filled Mecca. The rooms are admittedly nothing to Unilocal about, but they are on par with what you might find in your typical Vegas destination. But the environment the awesome staff members help create makes up for any flaws this resort might have. Wow! Wow! Wow! The fun and relaxed vibe jumpstarted my usually reserved husband within hours. Endless margaritas and a hotel full of «friendly» guests made it impossible not to let loose and have a great time. It wouldn’t be a proper review if I didn’t mention Dewey. A man among men! There’s a reason everyone drops his name; he is simply the best host I’ve ever encountered. By the time our stay at Sea Mountain had come to an end it was like leaving a second home.

I had one of the best times of my life. The room clean, comfortable and spacious. The perfect place to comeback to and relax. The pool was amazing and just right as refuge from the desert heat. The staff was welcoming and accommodating. Some of the best customer service I’ve had in awhile. Met some incredible new friends and reconnected with some old ones. Highly recommend this for a relaxing getaway.

My husband and I were so thrilled to visit such a relaxing resort. As soon as we arrived the entire staff was so friendly and helpful. Made us feel so at home with every accommodation I could have ever asked for ! My margarita cup was never empty and the pool was the perfect temp. What more could a girl ask for? Can’t wait to visit again !!

Sea Mountain has the best, friendliest staff I have ever encountered. Staff that immediately stops whatever they are doing to look after the needs of any guest, and does so cheerfully. You can tell that everyone enjoys working there.
Rooms are extra sound proofed, so if you don’t stay up dancing all night the music from the courtyard doesn’t intrude on your tranquility. During the day, and into the night, free drinks, free snacks, free lunch — there really was nothing left but to enjoy the pool, the bodies, and the adult «activities» — it is a Swinging Lifestyle friendly resort, so if that isn’t your thing (why not?) you might not be comfortable. However, everyone knows that no means no, and go out of their way to be polite.
We had a great time and will be back. The rooms can be (VERY) expensive, so know that you can get a day/​night pass and stay at a nearby spa resort for far less.

I did a photo shoot for the spa a few months back in exchange for day and night passes. Dewey is a great professional and the place is very clean and well run. When my husband and I came back to stay for two nights… magical. I am an extremely busy mom, professional and wife. I have never, ever felt more relaxed and comfortable in my life. Real people. Endless margaritas. Honest, open, accepting and DTF patrons. As a business owner, I pay meticulous attention to details. All of the staff were accommodating, but the resident manager, Kat, has the best work ethic I’ve ever seen. I’m tempted to steal her and move her to San Diego. From what I can tell, she keeps the entire grounds spotless, pool filtered, guests engaged and happy and any other duties that arise. We made some new friends and will definitely be back.

We recently returned from our sixth stay at Sea mountain Inn and Resort.
As we lay out soaking in the warmth of the sun, luxuriating in the soft winds blowing across our bodies, nodding to the soulful sounds of reggae music in the background, we reminisced about our first visit to this wonderful oasis.
About five years ago, we took the plunge and decided, with much apprehension, to stay for a weekend. We had read many reviews of the place and it was the first of its kind that we had ever thought of visiting. Yet, once we were escorted in and made to feel at home by Dewey and his friendly staff, we knew we had made the right decision.
We met many fun and interesting people from all walks of life. There is something to be said for an environment where couples have «let their hair down» and are just themselves, at least that part of them that wants to be enjoyable, enjoys the company of others and ultimately, to enjoy each other.
Nice rooms, comfy beds, good food, good beverages and all the basics for a good time are covered.
The one thing that we didn’t expect was to enjoy the city of Desert Hot Springs. As lifelong Southern Californians, we have at one time or another passed by it, never thinking of a reason to stop by.
Since that first visit, we always make it a point to stop and visit other places in town. Restaurants such as Casa Blanco, Capri Italian, South of the border, etc. We have stayed at Miracle Springs Resort, which we really enjoyed, and there are couple of other resorts in town that we have on our list to visit.
Sea Mountain Inn Resort has become one of our favorite places to visit. No kidding, we no sooner leave than we start looking at the calendar to pencil in our next visit.
As far as we are concerned, at least once in your life, visit/​stay at Sea Mountain, you will truly be in for a very unique experience.
And when you visit, take time to enjoy Desert Hot Springs, before you arrive, during your visit, on your way out, take in the local flavor. It is an odd feeling to be just that close to Palm Springs and its surrounding communities and not stop in (though you are literally minutes away) because you are enjoying some funky local watering hole or whatever else captures your fancy.

Been There, Done That experience!
Don’t get us wrong, Dewy and his staff are fantastic hosts! However, the location being in the midst of a residential neighborhood knowing there are families and children playing across the street and on each side… HUGE turn off.
Rooms needs updating! Their rooms are very plain and for what they are charging a night they should be decorated dark, seductive and sexy. Instead they are stark white and looking like hospital rooms, not an inviting place to stay.
Patio & pool area needs some work… They try to have a theme, but it feels like they are missing in a lot and in some areas they just threw up fish to fill in space! The pool is really small and gets warm really quick, I think the Hot Tub is the same size.
It is BYOB, which is absolutely fine and Dewy does walk around and shares shots which is totally awesome! Like I said, he is a great host… There is also plenty of food, he provides snacks all day long to help soak up the alcohol.
Sea Mountain is expensive, but if you are a newbie to the naughty (lifestyle) it is a great place to get your feet wet. This is a completely no pressure environment.

The vibe at SM is always positive, sexy and fun. Quality upscale people of all ages, shapes and sizes are ready to let go of over thinking life and drop into the universal connection we all share but can rarely access without the safe container SM provides. Thank you Julie and Dewey for creating this beautiful space for self-​expression and love. And Jackson (Margaritaaaaa!!!) and Mariana are the icing on the cake in making us feel welcome and totally nurtured every time.
Tip: Spend the night. For many years we came on a day pass and only recently started staying overnight. Wow. It’s fun both ways but being able to just drop in and then hear that beautiful music in the morning is like nothing else!

My wife and I like to be naked. Naked here. Naked there. Naked everywhere. We were staying at a near bye nudest hotel and thought we would see what all the hype was about at Sea Mountain. it was a good little drive from downtown Palm Springs. Nothing to bad nor something that should deter you from going if you are staying at another hotel. It is in a residential community but I never got a creepy or scary vibe at all.
This is where we should have turned around. I knock on the door and see that there is a call button. We buzz in and ask if we can come in. The lady that answered was not so keen on the customer satisfaction. She was very short and let us know that we were not able to come in without a reservation. I get it. I get it. She probably deals with dumb guys like myself that just show up and never follow the rules. It is probably really annoying. But as a person that flew over an hour. then had to drive 2 hours and really just didn’t know better, I didn’t appreciate it. So she refused to let us in with out a reservation. So I pull out my phone and call the same girl that would refuse to let us in or make our reservation over the speaker buzzer thing. She takes our information and then comes down personally to let us in. We walk pass the pool and into the «office area». We sit down and go over rules and payment. It is a 5 – 10 minute lecture which was alright. Then you pay. $ 100 per person which I thought was a little steep for just the hours 10:30am-5:30pm (if you wanted to stay for the party it was an extra $ 60pp).
To her credit the lady was now very nice (probably because she saw how beautiful my wife and I are). She took us on the mini tour. When I say mini, I mean mini. It took all but 5 minutes to see the whole place. A pool, A «club», a spa, bathrooms, seating, spa place, and food area. Now This isn’t a knock on the place for being small. Though I am a big guy I appreciate small and intimate places. We were there on a Saturday and didn’t get there till around 12ish. The place was pretty full. There is premium pool seating that was all taken. We had to sit a little further back but it was okay. The grounds, the seating and the pool seemed… hmmm. how do I say this nicely… Dated. Yes… that is it. Dated. Well to be honest it looked old and a little ran down. They need to either buy new stuff or keep better care of the things they have (after re purposing it).
There are two reasons why they charge so much. The first is the «All-​in-​clusive» aspect that they claim. Food and drinks are included. For everyone paying at least $ 100 to be there they could do so much better. Store bought fried chicken and sides. It was Terrriiibblle (Charles Barkley voice). I didn’t want to eat at all. The drinks were okay, They provided wine and some mixed drinks. When the party started to get going the girls would come out with shots and stuff which was fun.
The second reason why they charge so much is because this place is a freaking experience. It is not a hotel. It is not a nudist resort. It is a swinger Inn. I thought this was the most interesting part. I have never been to a place like this before. Sex. sex… SEX. I thought it was way cool. It was sensory overload. But sitting in the back you couldn’t get a good look at all of the. um. fun that was going on. This place was a little out of our league but we decided to stick it out because we paid so much money.
The people here are all over the spectrum. Super hot couples from Europe. Young vibrant couples. Old wrinkly couples. Every size, shape, religion, political view and… just. everything. People do not judge here and that is nice but if you are hot and younger than 32 prepare to be bounced on. We got several offers to have some «fun» with some other couples. We declined politely and they were all very nice and understanding. This is one thing that was very positive about the whole thing. The people are open and free and really nice. They might hit on you but hey, take the compliment and either go for it or decline. No ones feelings get hurt. The average age was around 46 (that we saw).
We had our full of declining «fun» and seeing «fun» happen everywhere. We packed up our stuff and headed out around 4ish.

— The food at this place is a 1 out of 10. Stale, nasty, no good
— The price is very high especially for what you get
— The reservation/​customer services was lack luster and frustrating
Bottom line is. if you could build a sexier modern looking place it would make people feel more sexy. My wife (who is very detailed focus) was turned off by her surroundings. She couldn’t wait to get out and that was mostly due to the grounds and pool. If you pay more you expect more.
And yes… «Fun» means sex.

We had our first experience of Sea Mountain and it was fantastic. My girlfriend was nervous to go… but once we were there she totally loved it.
Everyone friendly… naked…openly sexual. There was an open bar, lots of food. Those with pot were free to partake. It was an amazing day of sun & fun. We stayed at a nice resort down the street. So we left in the afternoon to take a shower… a nap and recharge. We returned for the night time experience and it was way way over the top. It was a sensual rockin party. Swingers were swinging… non swingers were into each other… voyeurs were having the time of their lives. We partied til almost 2 am! We also thought it was way fun to have swingers hitting on us. We aren’t into that, but it was still fun… and everyone is so friendly and easy going. Go for the experience… you only live once!

This place is a little heaven on earth. for the open minded, secure couple. Since we are that, we have no complaints about having a good time or just relaxing with equal minded individuals. The level of respect and maturity is one of the strongest points this resort offers. Freedom is only a word until you experience it. Whether you came to play, rekindle, flirt, relax, tan, read your Unilocal on your tab, it’s allowed judgement free.
Dewey and his crew provide a fantasy playground and it’s up to you if you want to swing in it. Thanks for so many good times SMI and looking forward to some many more!
