Delicious food! Every time I’ve been, the sandwiches have been amazing. I’ve had the steak panini and the Cuban(two or three times, it’s the best Cuban I think I’ve ever had!) Laid-back casual atmosphere and very friendly owners… it’s one one my new favorite spots in Destin!

It’s hard to believe this is the top rated restaurant in Destin according to Trip Advisor. Our experience was not amazing. Ordered a Bloody Mary. They were out of vodka. Ordered shaved ice, out of most flavors. Finally ordered 3 sandwiches. We were the only people there and it literally took over 30 minutes to get our sandwiches. Despite being«fresh» they used the microwave quite a bit. And to top it off, it was expensive. The sandwiches were good but it’s far from the best place around.

Came here with my sister and my boyfriend for a casual lunch. I will say, we went during the off-season, so your experience may vary depending on the time of year you visit. First, realize that this place is a funky little shack-type beach eatery. It is not fancy and it doesn’t need to be. It’s fun, casual, and super laid-back. We sat in the«inside» right at the window and got a great breeze all through lunch. The service was great, very friendly people just having a good time, I ordered the BBT and my sister ordered the tequila lime steak panini. My boyfriend stuck with a liquid lunch and had a margarita, which he said was strong and delicious. The BBT came on delicious fresh bread and the cream cheese spread was awesome. My sisters panini was more like a quesadilla but was so good. It came with a spicy sauce that made the whole sandwich. I will absolutely be back for drinks, food, and a fun time!

Let me start by first saying that if you want carribean food then this is NOT the place to go. It should be called NOT carribean joe’s because all they have are sandwiches and not many at that. 3 of us had the BBT and it was pretty tasty, we had them bring the cucumber and cream cheese spread on the side and we ate it with chips. That was the only reprieve for this not actually being carribean food. The spread was sort of like French onion dip but lighter. The waitress was super friendly, didn’t catch her name, but she was really nice. All in all a good place to eat but I wouldn’t go for dinner. For me it was definitely a lunch spot.

This is a great little place! I had the shrimp panini and my husband had the Cuban sandwich. The smoked meat on the Cuban was out of this world! They use all fresh and homemade ingredients, including the naan bread for the shrimp panini, which is made from scratch. Happy hour is inexpensive and the ambiance is perfect on a warm summer evening. Service is exceptional and super personable. The owners Allison and Brian are such hard workers and great business people!

Fresh ingredients like homemade bread! Owners are a couple and also are the chef and waitstaff. Great selection of local craft beers. The pork tenderloin in the Cuban sandwich is so juicy and succulent. Best sandwich in Destin. If I may recommend adding a classic Caribbean dessert to the menu: toffee sticky pudding.

Caribbean Joe’s is awesome. Hands down, a must go to. The shrimp panini and steak burrito were delicious. Very fresh and high end ingredients. This place is not air conditioned, but don’t let that scare you away. It just adds to the whole«Caribbean» experience. We felt like we were sitting directly on the beach. We had the owner did mention he was putting this is soon. mango margarita and it was perfect. Tall glass, not shy on the alcohol. Also try the sunfish beer. Very good. I normally don’t write reviews, but this place was just what we needed on a hot beach day.

A gem hidden by the tourist traps– A MUST try! Really, one of the best dining experiences I have ever had. The food is beyond amazing, bread made on site(where can you get that these days???), meat smoked on location and to perfection, great drinks, good vibe, excellent owner operated location. Run by great people! Thank you for making our trip better!

Overpriced. You can get tasty sandwiches for less elsewhere. This is a bit of a hole in the wall place right off the main road in Destin. The ambience is cool, but I don’t think you get what you pay for. If their prices were $ 2 less for everything, it would get a better score from me. This review is primarily on the value, not the taste.

Caribbean Joes has the best Panini’s EVER ! You will enjoy the shrimp or the steak! Order these sandwiches with homemade pasta salad and an ice cold beer or cocktail! Lots of seating outside and inside with TV’s for sporting events and a great sound system for enjoying music.
