Lucky’s BBQ & Burgers

I’m so glad we tried this place. The ribs were excellent and the service was great. I have food intolerances and I was able to have a great meal.

What a disappointment. Living in the area, I try to support the local businesses when possible but tonight I wish I had gone into town for better food. Walking in I went unacknowledged except for a few stares until I got to the counter. Once there the staff was friendly enough and answered my questions. I ordered two plates to go. Their brisket was dreadful. It had the texture of canned tuna and all I could taste was the overwhelming flavor of black pepper which appeared to be what they rubbed on it. Their Texas toast was soggy. Way too much onion in the baked beans. The part that really frustrated us was the portion sizes… when I order a $ 13 plate at a barbeque place I expect to be full. There was very little meat for what I payed. There was not much brisket or sausage. And the little that was given was almost inedible (for the brisket, obviously nobody can mess up a sausage). The only good thing I can say was that I enjoyed the original sauce. But the sauce containers they gave weren’t even half full. After spending $ 30 I’m still hungry and unsatisfied, I will not be returning again.

We had dinner here for the first time cause it was recommend by friends. We’re glad we finally stop in.
I had the two tacos with brisket chop, side of coleslaw very good.
my hubby had the brisket sandwich, side of Potatoe salad he said it was very good.
Will definitely come back.

This was the perfect lunch stop on our road trip. We tried the brisket, pulled pork, chicken and burgers. They were all delicious and the sides were also great. I recommend the brisket, the chicken had a mesquite taste that I honestly wasn’t a big fan of but it was still good. Service was quick which was great after being on the road. The restaurant is small but they have a takeout service.

So dang good and I’m from the south. I only really like my moms BBQ And this is up there with hers!!!

Update from my earlier review. Brisket is better than ever. So moist and tender it literally fell apart when my fork touched it. Love the bun which I think is an egg bread. Onion rings were perfect too. Great to see this caliber of food in our area.

Truly awesome BBQ .I’ve tried everything on menu… the best in Arizona possibly. Owner/​Management is first class. Whenever friends or relatives come to town. this is where I take them.

Such a cute, but small dining room. The walls are decorated with metal western artwork, most for sale. The wait staff was friendly and very helpful. A cute school-​aged boy took our drink order and bused tables. Food was amazing, nice smoke rings!

This place has really great brisket. And the beans were almost like a sweet-​and-​sour type flavor with sausage in them. Everything was very tasty. Definitely would go back. Our server could not have been more accommodating. And what a sweet personality. Definitely give them a try, but don’t tell too many people because it’s really small and you might not get a table. Also you have to get there early.

Best BBQ in the area. It’s my family’s favorite place to go when we’re in the mood for it. The brisket is our favorite, followed by the ribs. It’s family owned and operated, with very friendly service. Seating is limited due to restaurant size. Catering is also available.

Love LOVE the pulled pork! Service is great– but be prepared to wait as seating area is small. Fried sides probably from frozen, but beans and potato salad are great!

This place is a little small for dining in however you can order to go! The smoked meat is to die for!

Very Very Good BBQ I got the two meat platter. Pulled Pork was great the brisket is tender, great smoke ring, great rub, mesquite smoked, amazing flavor. They had three BBQ Sauces, Original, Spicy, and Sweet, all tasted great. I went with the Sweet Potatoe Fries, very good. — good service I will eat here again

Let me start by saying that this place in incredible. Good BBQ is is hard to come by and this place surpasses «good». The inside is small but it is clean and nicely decorated. I love the metal art that is on the walls. The setting is perfect.
On today’s visit 3 of us opted for the Brisket and 1 for the chicken breast, onion rings, fries, and potato salad. Every bit of food was perfect! You couldn’t ask for a better smoke ring on the brisket. The meat was so tender and flavorful. The skin on the chicken was probably the most amazing thing I’ve ever eaten. Their onion rings were the way onion rings should be. The onion was sliced to just the right thickness and the batter was light and crisp. Just about everything in made in house.
Oh I almost forgot about the sauces. I tried everything except for the mustard sauce. They are great. I personally like to mix the original and the spicy.
Bottom line, if you like smoked meats and BBQ then GO HERE! These folks know what they are doing.

This is another mandatory stop when we visit Prescott. This is the best BBQ we’ve ever had. Everything in their menu is delicious! I always get the brisket and fried okra. Their chicken is moist and cooked perfect. Their burgers are very good too. It is a very small place that specializes in catering services, so they do run out of food on busy days. My suggestion is, go early! We’ve never had to wait more than 15 minutes for a table and the service has always been great. This is a «mom and pop’s shop», so the actual owners are there to serve you.

Omg the pulled pork sandwich!!! This was more than worth the drive from litchfield park, az (west valley of phx)! We read another patrons review from Tennessee and we had to check it out!!! I’m from Maryland with roots n the Carolina’s with that said I love, love, love BBQ and my daughter and my stomachs are so so satisfied!!!
