Lauren and Claire

I placed an order with IdeaRibbon about 6 weeks ago. I did receive more than half of my items and they were in good condition. BUT I still haven’t received the rest of my order. More importantly, I tried e-​mailing and calling them but haven’t heard back. It would be helpful to know when I’d receive the rest of my order. Their lack of customer service makes me feel like I won’t be seeing the rest of my order and that’s my main problem with this business. I was looking forward to a lasting relationship with this business and now I’m just looking for the rest of my order!!!

Why should a gift bag (missing a gift tag!) cost $ 4 or $ 5 a piece? That’s lame. Well Lauren & Claire’s is really inexpensive and is definitely not lame! (I’d hazard to say the prices rival downtown LA — without the downtown commute.)
Pros:
–The service was friendly.
— If you need tulle or items for party favors this place is it. They have a ton of colors & variety. (I bought some purple & gold drawstring bags for a Mardi Gras party I’m hosting — 10 bags for $ 2.50!)
— Inexpensive and simple gift bags.
— Prices! They deal directly from the manufacturer –no middle man= savings to you!
Cons:
— Kind of cramped set up (cashier area was tiny).
— Very limited selection of gift bags (more colors/​coordinating tags would be nice).
— Limited balloon selection (again, perhaps as they grow this will expand as well).
— Being rung up was kind of slow (I had to ask to be rung up.)
Supposedly they’ve only been around a month or so. Hopefully the store will thrive since this type of retail was missing in the area. With two kids I’ve got parties to plan & I’ll definitely be back!
