The food is actually not bad. But the staff members are so rude to their customers. They asked you to call them several times when you are busy too and coldly said«no, we don’t have a plastic bag for the cake you ordered, because yours is too big» as if it’s my problem.

Pineapple pastry — I’ve always liked this bakery until I got their pineapple pastry(feng li su in Chinese) and it was SPOILED! It was sour and and seriously spoiled. So gross. It tasted like it’s been rotting for a historically long time. At first they refused to give a refund and insisted on doing a «store credit» only because it’s their policy. Then I had to push for them to call the manager because clearly they’re selling rotten food. Finally they agreed to give a refund. They said it’s probably because they left the pastry out in the sun for too long. Uhh seriously? People, don’t get their pineapple pastry. It’s $ 1.75 a piece and totally not worth it. I think they should just dump out their whole tray of pineapple pastry and not continue to sell to customers because those have likely gone bad too *SMH*

A very small but cute bakery locked in Diamond Bar and it’s name is Ni Ni’s which sounds also very unique. Most of the time if you are a busy person like most people you tend to want to get some type of food and go. Well I would suggest coming here to buy what many people usually get for their breakfast. It’s all different varieties of baked goods that are almost the same daily. One of my favourites that I totally love and enjoy is the got green onion bread. I know that might sound a tad bit weird when you are thinking to eat this for a breakfast but it actually is pretty good. Also you have to love green onions a lot which I love to death and I wish everything had green onions on it. That’s jus the though. If you aren’t a fan of that don’t worry, they have plenty of different options that you can buy here and if you think about it your really eating pretty cheap and it taste good. They also do a buy one get one free drink but it is on certain flavours. You can have one for your breakfast and have one for your lunch and there you go! If you are having a birthday they have a variety of birthday cakes. Just had one for the boyfriend and brother and it was a taro cake that everyone enjoyed. Also not expensive which is my go to thing at the moment. Taste great and reasonably priced is what I like and this place does it right. If you haven’t been, go and they do have other locations around the area just look it up and you’ll see.

so convenient and cheap! i love coming here and I’ve been coming to this bakery ever since i moved to Diamond Bar. it isn’t the fanciest bakery, but it hits the spot and easy to get it. I literally walk down the street to get some bread or cake. i would not know what to do without this bakery. I eat their bread for breakfast every morning! my family buys birthday cakes here too! wouldn’t know what to do without it.

We called a day before to order the crispy taro cake, but they forgot to make it when we showed up at the scheduled pick-up time the next day.

At first I didn’t want to go to this bakery because there weren’t many great reviews. But I was in a rush and needed to get some bread pastries. It was 8pm when I went to my first choice bakery but their shelves were practically empty. So I took a chance and came here to Ni Ni bakery instead. I got 3 items-some type of a pork sung/sponge cake roll, tuna bread, and a sandwiched chocolate chiffon cookie/cake item. The chocolate chiffon cookie/cake was good but stale – but I don’t think its the bakery’s fault because I came in here past 8pm and I’m sure if it was fresh it would be delicious! The pork sung/cake roll was yummy too-interesting to pair a savory with sweet this way but it works and it was tasty! Service was decent. No rude service here and I was greeted with a smile!

I ordered three teas, two of them being Thai Tea and the other Taro milk tea. The Thai teas were way too strong and too sweet. We threw both the Thai teas away with only a few sips in because they were just too sweet. The taro tea was watered down and tasted like crap.

Worst customer service. And their boba is never fresh, it’s hard and old. Their coupon rules are a joke. They expire 2 wks from the date you get them… forbid you bring them in 1 day after they expire, THEYWILLNOTHONORTHEM. Terrible customer service!

There is no wow factor or anything too spectacular about the items sold at this bakery but i love my carbs and i always find myself stopping by here on the way to work. I guess it doesn’t hurt that it’s extremely affordable and they almost always give you a dollar off coupon upon paying for your next visit. The one thing i DO really love about this place is their wide variety of breads that contain sausage. Anyone who knows me knows that is my weakness. Although the ones sold here are extremely bland for my taste. not a big deal though cause i usually end up dipping them into a fat serving of siracha or spicy mayo before i devour them. In conclusion. This place is clean convenient fast and easy. Nothing amazing but nothing to complain about either.

Best taro mochi bun hands down. I am quite positive I have consumed more taro buns than you have so I know what I’m talking about. The bread to filling ratio is excellent so you get filling with every bite! Definitely warm this baby up before you eat it for maximum satisfaction. Macarons are mediocre at best. At $ 1.50 each, it’s cheap but you get what you pay for. They usually have some cake samples at the register. They also usually have a $ 1 sale by the register but the items go quickly so drop by there first to see if you’re feeling any of it. Solid bakery in the land of Asian bakeries! Easily by go-to in Diamond Bar.

Always got my cakes here. They were a bit pricy($ 29 for a smaller one) but it was worth it because they actually put a good amount of fruit. I like that it’s so fluffy and it feels so light when I eat it. I docked one star because the fruits sometimes were not ripe and ruined the good cake. Even that I still go back every time I need to buy a BD cake.

0 Star. You would think they had improved. Came by a couple of weeks ago to get some slices of cakes. As always they offered buy 2 get 1 free. Chose raspberry mousse, taro mousse, and tiramisu. I could have never imagined that raspberry mousse could be as hard as a brick. How did you do it, NiNi Bakery? Did you forget the ratio of mousse to plaster? The cake went directly to trash can. Taro mousse slice was a little softer but still considerably hard for a mousse cake. The cake layer looked like as if it was made in rush, by a trainee who’s late on a blind date. Strike two, it went to trash can. The only edible one was tiramisu but alas, it’s too sweet. Strike 3, trash can. Oh, NiNi, how on earth are you still in this business?!!

— Locale Destination — It’s on Diamond Bar Blvd and Quail Summit Dr in Diamond Bar. It’s very tiny and narrow store. Décor is just casual, nothing so special. The staff were friendly. $ 1 sale by the cash register! $ 10 minimum for credit card usage. Whole cakes: Colorful! Sponge cakes: From big one to small. Looked fluffy. Pastries: Some looked good and cheap. Macaron: a bite size for $ 1.50 and its so so texture & flavors are a little overpriced. I don’t like the unhealthy food coloring looks. The sauce inside was kinda like jam. The macaron was a bit dry side. — Gluttony Expedition — Blueberry cake: the white colored cake was moist, light and soft. The blueberry part in the middle was a bit sour(rather than sweet) and soft. Mmm. It’s a bit different from normal cake. Interesting. Macaron: Overall I feel it’s a bit too expensive for what it is. Lemon — a bit sweet but not bad. Raspberry: Light and not bad. Strawberry: Meh. Strawberry jam wouldn’t cut it. Lavender: It was too strong flavor. They sprinkle real lavender«hairs» on the surface(see my picture closely). — Conqueror’s Deduction — Nothing special to me.

Even though the workers speak Mandarin to each other, the food and bread that they have are really good. I usually get the Chocolate Blueberry roll for $ 6.75. It is really good. The chocolate and the blueberry sauce inside really mix well together. The mangos that they have in the mango pudding– they actually have huge pieces of mango, which make it even better(and they’re fresh!). And if you spend $ 10, you get a $ 1 voucher, but that expires in 2 weeks so use it up quickly! It used to be a free boba drink, which I kinda miss(and it totally is worth more than $ 1). So if you wanna buy a cake, here is the place to go!

My go to place for cakes, my family, friends & coworkers enjoy the cakes there. The box for the cake makes it easy to handle, and convenient for cake presentation/cutting. Some may feel the high $ 20s might be pricey for a cake, but I think it’s worth the money, and it’s always a plus because it’s not too sweet. They’ve had this promo for a while, where you get a $ 1 off coupon for every $ 10 you spend, on your next visit. Each time I buy a cake, I get $ 3 off my next purchase which I usually redeem on sandwiches or buns, I’d recommend the pork sung, egg & cucumber sandwich or the egg salad bun.

Sorry, this is no contest to 85 and not because of the interior or organization. It’s just not as good. The prices seem somewhat fair but their egg tart was so-so and I was disappointed with their macaron. I tried the pistachio flavor. It was slightly bigger than a half dollar coin(if you young’ns know what that is) and the filling was so poor, the top just came off in the bag. And the filling itself was probably the size of a dime, if that. Anyway, if I had to, yeah, I would stop by to get a quick snack, but I was disappointed by their macarons. I also had to stand and wait by the counter for several minutes while two workers went about their business. Just thought that was a bit weird, too. Still, I got a dollar off coupon for the next visit so maybe I’ll try another macaron, just to give it a second chance. Compared to the Champs Elysees Bakery, Ni Ni’s macaron was better, but that’s not really saying much for either of them.

Really small and not a lot of selection when we went(afternoon on a weekend). Got a few breads … the pork floss bun was too salty, and the pineapple bread with custard didn’t leave me hankering for any more. It’s nice that they give little samples out, but overall, this place is on the«meh» to «just ok» side. Maybe if I go early and get fresh buns it would be better.
