I am of Palestinian descent, so I am use to a bit different flavor Mediterranean cuisine. However, for the price you eat well here. They keep everything very neat and clean, which is different from the middle eastern places I really like. I guess they are appealing to a more mainstream middle eastern place. Recommend the Mahammara and Kibbe Naye. I do wish this place gave out more pita brea with the orders… The meats are ok, but good for the price. Service is not the friendliest.

I get it this a quodoba kind of place but the service is pretty awful. Food is very good not gonna lie but if you get different items they all are going to be served at different times which does not make sense at all! Staff seats by the counter like whatever! So that may be a reason why food is served at different times.

Their food is delicious, but the falafel wrap is to die for! This is the kind of place you wish you could eat every day! :) thank you Shawarma!

REVIEWUPDATE: Sorry but had to go from 4 stars to 3 stars! The fried Kibbeh here tastes like pure oil and the baked kibbeh is extremely greasy too! Not a fan of their grapeleaves ATALL and I still don’t understand why they roll their pita bread into some paper, which only gives them more work and the bread gets hard and impossible to enjoy! Only stuff I would recommend is the labneh, hummus + meat, and kibbeh nayeh!

I’ve heard of this restaurant 2 years ago but I never tried assuming that I wouldn’t like it, however, I tried their lamb shawarma it was one of the best that I had in miami. Specially that I am from the Middle East so it is hard to find a place where they cook what you eat back home. The shawarma was delicious I asked him to put extra tahene and he did. They might only need to add salads for the shawarma so they can taste like the real shawarma from Middle East.

Everything I have ever tried here is amazing! The kabab platters, tabouleh, kibbe naye, falafels, fried kibbe and their humus is delicious! Family friendly environment.

I have been going to eat at the Shawarma in Kendall since it opened, and in the beginning the food was excellent and well priced. Over time, the quality of the food has significantly gone down. I have tried the Doral location on two occasions, and I am so disappointed. The food is not good at all, and I am not exaggerating. I ordered falafel, with grape leaves. The falafel was not fresh and was over-fried, the tabouleh had huge chunks of onions which was unpleasant, and grape leaves were so salty that I could not eat them. I’m not sure if I will he going there again… Oh, and the absence of the owners is really felt there, and too employees are too young and not up to par

Today was one of those days you really don’t know what to eat and I was up for something different. I Unilocaled restaurant around my location and Shawarma Mediterranean Grill came up. Wow what a grate pick!!! After reading some of the bad reviews posted I was undeside whether I should go or not. I’m really glad I didn’t pay attention to what some people had to say about this place because is wonderful!!! Although this restaurant has only been open for 2 years they have nailed down the food. It is impeccable! I can say that this was the best restaurant around Doral experience I can remember having. The restaurant is small like most around this area but the décor inside is so interesting I caught myself staring for quite some time and had to mention is beyond clean… very modern touch and really nice environment. I got the Shawarma mixed plate and the food was cooked to perfection and served within 15 min even though the place was packed. For appetizer I tried the kibbe with the garlic dipping sauce wich was delicious and original. Desserts are amazing the marquesa is from another world i tried baklava and mamul this quickly climbed my list of favorite desserts to # 1. This restaurant is a definite must try … even if it’s out of your way!

I went to this place to have a beef shawarma which I’ve been craving for days. I ordered it with a side of the sweet red pepper sauce whose name I can’t remember. Well I found the dish to be just ok, I felt the shawarma had too much lettuce and tomato and not as much beef as I liked. The sauce was just ok too.

Would provide 0 starts if it was at all humanly possible. The service here was horrible, I arrived and ordered a chicken wrap, 30 minutes later I have yet to receive it. People who have ordered after me have received their food far in advance. Once I finally received my chicken wrap, the meat was mealy and dry, with the wrap falling apart with the excessive amount of liquid. Had this liquid added any flavor I probably wouldn’t have been so upset but it tasted of water that wasn’t removed from the lettuce. You won’t catch me here again!

Tried the grape leaves and they were not what I expected at all. They tasted like they were the ones kept in the fridge for many nights. I also tried the mahshie kouza platter and it was horrible. The zucchini was flavorless. The spices in the meat were weak. Felt like they drenched the platter in the sour cream sauce to overcompensate for the crappy taste. On the picture, the platter showed three wraps, only got two. I asked the cashier about it and made the cook come out to explain to me that sometimes they serve three of them but smaller. She then said I was getting a better deal because apparently the ones I got were«bigger». Seems like false advertisement to me. The water tasted good.

The food is nothing special, but this place is WAY overpriced. Also, the order minimum for delivery is $ 20! Additionally, it’s pretty ridiculous that they charge a steep delivery fee in addition to the $ 20 minimum. Essentially, if you want them to deliver your lunch you’re looking at about $ 25 + tip. Unilocal needs to update the price category of this place.

I loved the service provided by this restaurant. I called for delivery outide of their delivery area and instead of abruptly hanging up on me with a «no… we dont deliver», they called their driver to see if he would mind delivering to me. I had been calling around for hours and this time the pleasant response to my hunger needs was welcome. With a promised delivery time of 45 minutes, I waited formy dinner. The food arrived on time, hot, and full of flavor. Such a pleasant alternative to take out pizza!

A co-worker of mine had brought this for lunch, and the smell intrigued me. Said it was a new Mediterranean food that opened up in a new plaza. So I went and gave it a shot. The second I walked in, the place is clean, but noticed everything was in Spanish. Okay, no problem. I ordered the Chicken Wrap that they had, and a side of small fries. My total came to $ 11+ ! That’s not even including a drink! Whatever, I figured I’d give a small business a try. The service was far too slow, I waited almost 15 minutes for my food, and there were only 2 parties eating inside. The food must taste really good I was thinking. You know, the high price and long waiting. Must be worth it. Boy was I wrong. First of all, the fries were burnt and brown. I don’t know why the fries have such a high price, they’re ordinary fries, nothing special about them and didn’t taste good. The wrap itself was a huge mess, and the worst part is, the chicken wasn’t fully cooked! I wish I had checked this before returning to the office. Basically spent $ 11 on a meal I couldn’t eat, and ended up getting subway. You can count on me never returning here.

Great new place in Doral. Offers an array of Mediterranean meals at affordable prices. The lentil and almond rices are delicious and the grilled meat/chicken as well. Would definitely go back. Service was friendly and they tried to be as quick as possible. We went on a Friday night and it was pretty full.

Do not miss an opportunity to try this great place out! It is a tad hidden but that doesn’t stop it from being packed at 5PM on a weekday 3 days after opening! Yup, it is that good. Being a Middle Eastern food lover, I was happy to find out that the owners are of Lebanese descent. Why? Because all Middle Eastern foods have slightly different ways of making the food and spicing them. Since my grandparents are Lebanese, I do prefer that flavoring. We ordered Falafels, Veg Grape Leaves, Mujaddara, Muhammara, Mediterranean fries(seasoned with lime juice, feta and parsley) and for dessert Marquesa de Almendras. I have to say I couldn’t be happier! Everything was delicious, especially the Mujaddara! We all agreed that it was delicious! The Grape Leaves tasted like mine so now I know where to get good ones when I am not in the mood to be rolling them for hours. The owner is super friendly, its a family owned business and a wonderful addition to the area. I must say, if I were to start eating meat again it would be because I was tempted to here by the amazing aromas of their Shawarma!

How lucky can we be? Took a detour which we normally don’t take, entered this little strip mall, which we normally don’t do, just to check out what options we had for dinner, and what do you know? Shawarma just opened a new location(these are the same people from the Shawarma in Kendall) the extra nice thing is that this one super convenient for us. We were stoked to see that we have another Middle Eastern option in the area, lots of vegetarian options, they have just opened so the service is super friendly, so we took the opportunity to build some pretty positive rapport and surely we will encounter good service when we return, which promises to be often. For me the vegetarian platter was a really good option and I also like their Falafel Wrap, the have vegetarian grape leaves which is a much welcomed option and their Mediterranean fries are quite good as well. Like I said we will return and there are other options to try, top of my list is the Mujaddara, Baba Ganouj, Labneh, Muhammara and Hummus, just typing this, I want to go back for more. For dessert, the Marquesa de Almendras did not disappoint.
