Chili’s

This pace is HORRIBLE. I came here for lunch with my mother. The place was it a little crowded but we waited because it had been a while we’ve eaten at Chili’s. The wait was normal however there were way too many kids running around and crying.
We got seated by the restrooms which at this point, I didn’t mind because we were some what away from the screaming children. It took 10 min for someone to come asks us if we’ve been helped. The waitress finally gets to our table, I order a lemonade and my mother a margarita. My drink and a glass of water for her while she waits on bar to make margarita come out fast. We place our order; an appetizer and two steak skillets with avocado. The waitress disappears for like 10 min and brings the margarita. Another 15 mins go by then someone brings out chips and salsa, which were horridly salty, ab=nd we didn’t order. We ordered the queso skillet. the waitress says they come with the queso skillet ok… another 15 to 20 mins go by we ask the waitress whats up? and she’s like oh yeah its been bad in the kitchen you wanna speak to the manager? Hell yes I do! the manager comes with her head down all apologetic saying our appetizer had been given to another table by mistake!
I was furious at this point I tell her to cancel the appetizer then she ensures our steaks are ready and off the grill and we would get a small discount. OK… We get the skillets and it’s not the one we chose but at this point we are hungry so we eat em well attempt too AGAIN the food was overly salty and steaks were well done when we both asked medium. probably someone else’s order. UGH this is the last time I EVER go to this location again. They ended up comping one of the entrees which made the bill $ 32.33, I left $ 35 and that was due to a lack of singles, they didn’t deserve the freaking tip. HORRIBLE SERVICE AND FOOD

Overall a good place to go to for happy-​hour the prices for drinks and food are fair. And guess what free unlimited chips and salsa and boy are they good except when they break as your picking up salsa.
My only issue is just beware if you sit at the bar the bartender has a lot of duties and he will do his best to try to take orders for bar patrons, make drinks for bar, make drinks for dining area, stock beer/​drinks, and clean dishes. We got mediocre service but nothing against the bartender because he was great but more to management get the man some help because he’s a nice guy and treats customers very good.

This is a very unprofessional restaurant. First thing i seen when walkin in was a table that had dirty rags there. I Passed the bar area and seen two more tables all dirty. Waitresses in the kitchen area standing there just laughing and gossiping. The only person actually working was the bar tender. He got no help, messy floors gross. Dangerous to walk in here like that all wet floors. Most girls arent doing anything.

THIS PLACE SUCKED.
Waited like 10 minutes for the waitress just to ask what we wanted for drinks. Barbra was her name. She didn’t even introduced herself. I had to look at the receipt to see her name so I could write about her. Came to our table about only 4 times. Didn’t ask how we were doing or how our food was until we were more then half way done with our food. Speaking of food, they took FOREVER to bring it to us. We arrived at 9:45 and left at 11:50. They made my boyfriend steak wrong he asked for it medium and they made it well-​done. How do you even get that confused? Then we had to wait longer for them to bring the right steak. It STILL wasn’t cooked the way he liked it. My potatoes were disgusting and the fries tasted like plastic. Once we finally left I looked into the kitchen and our waiter, Barbra, was in the kitchen ON HER PHONE. No wonder she never came to check on us. Denny’s would’ve been a better choice! :)

Everytime I come here Carlos the bartender is amazing this guy is always busy and takes care of everyone at the bar with speed and awesome service I keep coming Back because this guy

Horrible service… the hostess was not present at the front and no one cared to attend to us after 6min. And finally the person cleaning came to tell us that it will take another ten minutes just to seat us. This is the 2^nd time this chillies has been bad at customer service. The manager should really pay attention to their employees work.

–five stars this place is disgusting. I wish I had gone to the restroom prior to eating. The restroom is in the back, to the left, is the kitchen area omfg! Disgusting. The floor was wet –food all over the floor along with trash. The place looked atrocious. The seats and table are sticky. There was a humongous daddy long legs in the restroom hanging from the sprinkler system. The waitress was garbage. She took our order but focused somewhere else and we had to repeat ourselves. Never came around to bring drinks. I had to look for her. Why my sister left her a tip is beyond me. I would have left her 0. One of my biggest pet peeves is management telling people what to do in front of patrons! I swear! I hadn’t been to this location for 5 years and this place needs to be shut down by the health department. Thank god for Unilocal!Run run run but at least visit the women’s restroom, if you want to see a giant daddy long legs!

This is the only chili’s location you can’t order food online togo, I work around the corner and simply used to go in pickup and be on my way home to a hungry anxious family. But if this location doesn’t provide this service anymore well I guess I’ll go take my money elsewhere. Oh, and forget about calling it in, they screwed my order up the last time and I still had to wait over 20 min’s for my food, no thank you.

First time at this location. Sat at the bar for a quick drink, Gustavo and Birdie (Brian) extremely attentive bar tenders. Birdie was so welcoming and addressed all the inquiries I noticed requested at the bar. He had high energy and was compassionate about his job. Gustavo made a great drink and his service was great. Would visit this place again if their service is there.

Our server was Amber. She’s amazing, her customer service skills are EXCELLENT. You can tell that she takes pride in her work and I like that. The food was really good too. We ordered the endless enchiladas, and an appetizer platter. The food was fresh and hot and she also kept our Long Islands refilled. We had a great time.

Came here with my wife and mother in law for lunch before finishing up our thanksgiving shopping. My mother in law ordered tacos and my wife ordered the turkey club.
So when their food arrived, the avocado slices were black and slimy. We then brought this to the servers attention. Her response was,” oh, I’m sorry, but that’s all the cooks have.” So your telling that this is worth serving? The server said no. The server then asked if we want to speak to the manager? I told yes we do.
The manager came to our table and brought us new avocado and said she was sorry.
But the crazy thing is, the avocado the manager brought was green without blemish, compared to what the server had brought to us earlier. And when we brought this to the managers attention about the difference in the quality of the avocado .The manager again apologized.
This is just pure laziness on management. My motto as a chef is, if I wouldn’t eat, then why would I serve it. It’s that simple.

Called in my order told me It would be ready in 10−15min showed up 20mins after I called and still had to wait another 20mins for my food. Bar tender was nice and apologized about the wait I finally get my food and I get Coke fries and a burnt sloppily made quesadilla!!! Terrible!!!

THE MAIN ENTREE was very delicious but, my goodness

The rice (which is incredibly cheap in its raw state) was only a few spoonfuls & the chicken was only «half» of a chicken breast.
Price $ 12 with tax
With this price the chef must realize he needs to make the portions larger, especially the chicken.
Give at least one whole breast for this price.

I’m gonna start out by saying that the first time I came to this chilis was on my first date 8 years ago with my now husband, so it’s always going to hold a special place in my heart.
Now for the food, food is eh. The only consistent good thing I order is their Tortilla and loaded potato soup. Recently I’ve been sitting at the bar and the service is great. The bartenders are friendly and attentive, I always order their Bloody Mary’s and they’re my favorite. Hands does the best bloody Mary’s I’ve tasted from all the local eateries there.
So, overall, Chilli’s is ok, but I’ll just be stopping by their bar from now on.

I’ve been to this Chili’s before and the food is consistently good. The last time we came here, the service really needed some work.
We came here on a Tuesday night and sat at the bar. We were greeted right away by the bartender; I believe his name was Brian. He was super friendly, so efficient and provided me and my boyfriend with really good service. He was the only bartender on and the whole bar area was packed but he did an excellent job taking care of all the patrons at the bar.
We ordered the queso dip as our appetizer, which was super tasty as usual. The boneless buffalo chicken salad is really good too
Chilis has a really good happy hour; there is a good selection of appetizers and good drinks for a great price. Great deal for the margaritas.

The Chilli’s in Downey has been one of my most frequent ones to go to. It has hosted many cool occasions and it has provided great service.
Chilli’s is one of the few places I get different plates. It could be Chicken Quesadillas, Turkey sandwich, fully loaded nachos and more. I used to get a Cajun Ribeye but that has been discontinued (And the awesome blossom).
Looking forward to many more visits here.

It’s lunch time and I’m at the Downey Landing. There are many choices here, why not go to Chilis sit at the bar and watch sports.

I had the Southwest Chicken Soup (cup) and the Santa Fe Chicken Salad. The soup was like a type of pozole, with a SW flavor to it. The salad was very good just enough seasoning on the chicken and dressing. I missed the lunch crowd, but apparently the Spring Break crowd begins around 2:30.

I’ve been coming here for years! Never had a problem with service. Everytime I’ve had good service. Definitely recommend the 2 for $ 20 special which includes 1 Appetizer + 2 Entrees. For the appetizer pick the Tostas chips & salsa, it comes with Guacamole! Yum! My favorite entrée is the 6oz Sirloin, the Cheese Burger or the Margarita Chicken. Don’t get the Cajun Pasta Chicken, no taste and mostly pasta! The coronita Margarita another must try! Overall,
good location, lots of parking, reasonable price.

This review is for the steak dish I had in this restaurant while back when they had a promotional deal.
Last time I went here, they had a special promotion for steak dinner around $ 10.
The price was very affordable for a steak dinner so I went for it.
The potion was pretty small.
The steak was around 6oz and it comes with side dishes like carrots and potatos.
For the grown ups, this portion is way to small unless you’re in a diet.
But the steak was absolutely tasty and it was seasoned just right.
I always prefer my steak cooked medium well so that I don’t see too much blood.
The steak tends to be little toughter if you cook it this way but the steak was still very tender like it was cooked medium.
Except for the portion, I really enjoyed this steak dish from Chili’s.
I’m not sure if they’ll bring this promotion back but I’ll be definitely give it another try.
