Reposting this on Jeanette’s page as well since my experience started with her. I had a horrible experience with two employees and the owner. I found a Groupon for a enhanced shellac mani. I called and asked for an appointment and was able to get in the next day. Jeanette, who did my nails was very friendly at first, but then started talking about her co-worker and how unprofessional she was. I was a bit uncomfortable, but she was already in the process of doing my nails. The next day my nails cracked and chipped even though the enhanced shellac is suppose to last 2 – 3 weeks. I text Jeanette to fix my nails and went back a few days later. She was late for my appointment and on the phone. While she was«fixing» my nails she informed me that she had put on the wrong top coat and that’s why my nails had chipped and cracked. She also told me a few of her other clients had experienced the same thing and she knew what she had done wrong. She rushed to «fix» them by adding more layers of polish to a few of my nails instead of fixing all of them with the right top coat. The next day I tried to call the salon because my nails were uneven, thick, chipping and looked like grown out. No one answered, but I found the owner Carina’s cell phone number on their website and I contacted her. I explained that Jeanette tried to fix them, but that I would prefer that someone else fix my nails since this was going to be my 3rd time coming in. Carina put me in touch with Stephanie who said she would fix my nails. I sent Stephanie a few pictures of my nails upon her request. After reviewing the pictures she said she would have to take the shellac off and start over again. The day that I went in, Stephanie spent an hour and a half taking the layers upon layers that Jeanette put on. She was able to get most of it off and started over. I left satisfied with my nails even though I sat there for over two hours this time around. Within 15 minutes of walking out, Stephanie text me «She was super picky when she came in but she left happy.» She immediately text me again saying that she accidentally sent that message to me and it was meant for Jeanette but not to take it the wrong way. Stephanie said she was trying to be uplifting to Jeanette because she made a mistake. I took a screen shot and sent it to Carina. Carina’s response was that everyone who works there are friends and are close. Stephanie’s intention was not to insult me and that it is hard to juggle feelings sometimes especially when someone does not do a good job. Not even an apology from her, but basically blaming me for Stephanie’s unprofessional comment and Jeanette’s lack of product knowledge. As a customer, my request for someone to fix my nails(something they guarantee) was not unreasonable. Especially after being given two chances to do it correctly. I paid for a service and it was not properly done. Instead of apologizing and making sure I was satisfied, I was insulted to morally uplift someone else. I would never recommend any of my girlfriends to come here based on their complete disregard for their clients and being completely unprofessional.

Jeanette is awesome! My wife and I just moved to Dublin and were looking for a new pedicure/manicure place. Problem solved we called Jeanette she was more than accommodating to us regarding times. It’s like we have a new friend. She is sooo friendly and is always willing to reschedule and accommodate or hectic lives. I look forward to going to our appointment. I could go on and on about my pedicure in 2 sessions she has made my feet feel like silk and that was a tall task!!! If you want affordable and great friendly service Jeanette is your woman!

I got a Localgruv deal to get a rockstar pedicure with Jeanette. I have never had a rockstar pedicure before but was going to Vegas, so thought it would be fun. Jeanette was great. I called and got my appt. on the day and time that I wanted. I was 10 minutes late, but she was very nice and didn’t mention it. She talked to me about the benefits of shellac vs. rockstar pedicures. She was knowledgeable, very nice, and english is her first language. She had a ton of colors to choose from. We even mixed a couple to get a really cool color/affect. We talked a lot, but felt that if I just wanted a quiet experience, I could have that as well. The pedicure she does is not like a pedicure I have had before. It was a «dry» pedicure so my feet weren’t soaking in a tub. This was fine with me because I always worry about the bacteria and getting infections from those tubs and tools. She also did not cut my cuticles, she pushed them back. I liked that a lot, I have had my cuticles cut too short many times and so glad that wasn’t an issue. She spent an hour and a half giving me awesome rockstar toes. They looked so good, shiny and sparkly. They will be perfect for my weekend. We even made an appt. for my next one in a month. My only warning is that if you have young girls, they are going to want one as well. Both my girls are begging me to get their toes done. I might have to breakdown for a special treat one day.
