Pinewoods Resort

We stayed for 3 nights with our two kids. This place is amazing! Close to hiking and fishing. The grounds offer large mature trees as well as trails to walk through. The kids loved the playground and the game room, which offers foozball, pool and pingpong. All of the staff were super friendly and helpful. The dining is good, set into a rustic setting. We look forward to visiting again!

A friend and I stayed in a double queen bed room after a day of hiking the narrows as a stay over between there and Grand Escalante. I did not read my confirmation email (not their fault) and had no idea everything closed up at 7pm. I got my key and we settled in before heading out for dinner in another town. The room was cute, the bed comfortable, and the pillows a perfect amount of thin for me. We loved being out in the woods, the big moon, the stars and the silence. If you are looking for a 5 star resort, it is not here but it was perfect for us and I wish we had stayed longer.

Very nice place, we where in the RV spot, they had showers with restrooms, play room, out door play area for kids, and hook ups for the RV. They were very friendly and helpful. I said I didn’t understand why they got bad reviews, they said they are under new owners since November 2014, thank you guys had a great time, hope to see you next time we’re up there

this place was absolutely amazing! I definitely recommend staying here at pinewoods resort!
my family and I stayed in the family suite and it was beautiful! there was plenty of rooms, bathrooms, big kitchen, and a nice balcony view. also, the cabin was in a great location and had such a great vibe to it.
there is a playground, swings, a volleyball net with sand, and a small basketball court.
just an overall great experience in duck creek. the ONLY downfall was that the satellite for the TV wasn’t consistent. but that’s not even that big of a problem!
overall a very amazing place. I will definitely be going back! :)

I’ve been in Pinewoods several times before, but not for the past couple years. We went in there today for some hot chocolate while snowmobiling and noticed a significant difference. Cleaner, super nice, and although we only went for hot chocolate, we ended up ordering food. The food was great. I was prompted to ask if ownership changed and in effect it had. New operators, new remodeling, great chef, great service. They said they are remodeling the rooms too. The new operators are from Las Vegas and understand what we are looking for. Great to have a nice restaurant in town!

Excellent dinner. They said they have a new chef and he was amazing. I had the Ribeye and it was cooked to perfection and very tender. The chef is from Texas and the steaks showed it. The mashed potatoes were real potatoes and again, fabulous. We also ordered Truffle fries which were delicious as well. Didn’t try the desert but the people next to us really loved their molten lava cake. We will definitely bring our family back again. It was such a treat to find this little treasure hidden in the trees at Duck Creek. The price for two meals, no drinks, was $ 37.

***Warning***Do not stay, rent or eat here unless you have a rabid desire to be scammed. Their business «practices» include.
1. Demeaning and belittlling behavior towards employees by the General Manager in front of a cadre of customers. It is sad that these people feel they must take such abuse as a condition of their employment.
2. They can provide no mechanical work history on rental eqiupment when asked to serve as a baseline of maintenance.
3. They have repaired parts on their equipment and not replaced it when necessary, causing it to fail again and charging customers exorbitant rates on «repairing» an already broken beyond repair part.
4. They process fraudulent charges after it is represented to you that everything is fine with the bill paid in full. They anticipate and assume that their clientel have left the area An example was the $ 1,000 deposit fee, was in effect charged after all.
Again, I caution all travelers to avoid staying, renting or eating here. You will be berated, abused and scammed. They have no integrity or ethics. The Pinewoods Resort is desperate for business and are making last ditch efforts to make financial ends meet by scamming the consumer.
