my boyfriend and i had brunch here on a recent sunday morning. we’ve contemplated going before, but the timing just didn’t work out. sunday, the timing was perfect! this is a little joint and probably seats 20 — 30, at the most. we sat at the bartop area, and were promptly greeted by one of the women working(didn’t get her name). we were there at 11:15 am, which meant we were actually able to order from both the breakfast and/or lunch menu. the custom hot dog options all sound good, and, like other Unilocalers have indicated– this place is super-affordable. i was in the mood for breakfast, but also wanted a hot dog. my boyfriend, a lover of all meats in tube-form, went with hot dogs and then a single buttermilk pancake. he got the yummo dog(bacon, chopped onions, and cheese sauce), as well as a rhode island dog(meat sauce, onions, and yellow mustard). i had one bite of each, and both were delicious. the bacon on the yummo dog was actual slices of bacon, instead of crumbled, and i appreciated that. the pancake was light, fluffly, and had excellent vanilla/sweet flavor. i can imagine kiddos just gobbling these right up. my western sandwich on wheat served with well-done home fries was perfect. it was very simple, but the egg flavor was clean, and the peppers were cooked beautifully. the home fries don’t have much seasoning on them, but they were cooked just how i requested. i was very happy with the breakfast portion of my meal. i got the pp dog, which is topped with pulled pork and cole slaw. i could not have been happier. the hot dog bun(typical new england style) was nicely buttered and toasted– this is key. the pulled pork was sweet and savory, and the tangy cole slaw provided a nice counterpoint to the other flavors. we had some great conversation with the owners, and were very well taken care of. we indicated that it was our first time, and they happily walked us through everything. if i had to think of one word to describe the space, the food, and the people– it would be genuine. there are no frills, nothing fancy, but it’s all so good. we will certainly be back.

Wow… Been driving by this place for years and we finally stopped in for breakfast. I think we always thought it would be a dirty hot dog joint. It’s not! Great breakfast, wonderful service and the price is right…$ 15.30 for 2 with coffee. I had my usual; Extra cheese & sausage omelet which was outstanding except for the very plain home fries. My wife had the Spanish Omelet which was also great, although it comes with a lot of salsa… So be prepared or ask for less if you don’t like«a lot» of salsa. We’ll be back!

Good Breakfast Nice Family Oddly I tried to hit Carl’s Oxford Diner, but the place was closed due to their vacation, so I kind of accidentally found this place. Sully’s is a small, cool, family diner like spot, that really serves solid breakfast classics. The big draw for Sully’s is hot dogs. You can get them boiled with your usual toppings and they are quite good. Portions are large and prices are very reasonable, 6 dollar breakfasts and 1.50 hot dogs. Tip: Order the homemade pierogis, either cheese or cabbage. My favorite is cabbage, pretty good. The best part about Sully’s is the family atmosphere and the friendly feel that the place gives you when you visit. The family that runs this place makes you feel like friend of the family. If I am in the area I will be back. Give it a try, really nice people. Thanks

Was looking for breakfast w/two hungry teenagers on the 4th of July and found Sully’s. Not often do teenagers offer compliments and accolades, but they did on this day. The Egg’s Benedict were made w/thick juicy ham steak & the corned beef hash was homemade w/freshly pulled corned beef — awesome! The boys had french toast & chocolate chip pancakes. Service was fast & friendly, and prices were very reasonable. We’ll be back!

When I’m in the mood for steak & cheese this is always my first pick. The hot dog options are amazing as well. Only downside is that it seems like this place is never open when I happen to pass by. Extended hours would be huge to me and I would make 5x the visits

I gotta say, this place has the best hot dogs around. I travel well outta my way to eat here sometimes. Awesome chili dogs and my favorite is the Delish dog. The dogs are well seasoned and loaded with toppings. You will not be disappointed.

Great local place with good eats. Steak and cheese is amazing, but they’ll have to roll you out the door when your done. Hot dogs great, too!

Unfortunately, I haven’t been able to get out here in awhile. Coming here with the family was just about a twice a week thing. I did notice on the front of this it says alcohol: No… I’m not sure if they stop selling but I’ve had a few beers there… I just wanted to clear that up for these people, in case it discourage somebody who wanted a dog and a beer, but again I haven’t been able to get out there in a while.

I stop by every once in a while for lunch and sometimes dinner. I will be honest, I am not the biggest hotdog fan but this place has good dogs as well as burgers and sandwiches. I usually get a burger or a sandwich. The burger I get is a standard issue American cheeseburger with the generic stuff that American cheeseburgers usually have. The sandwich I get is usually a combination of the pulled pork with coleslaw and a Philly cheese steak. I dubbed this combo The Sandwich, because I dunno why that sounded cool. It is good though, really. If you want something to eat and you are hungry and stuff, you should probably check out this place. It is pretty good. Food is good, service is good, people are always appreciable there and it makes me feel like home even though logically that is implausible because my home is not located in Sully’s Dog Shack. It is located in Oxford and stuff. But back to the point. The food here is pretty good. The service is good. The people that do the service is good. The prices are fair for what you get, and I eat like a truckload of stuff because I am hungry. Oh yeah, there is a gym nearby and that place is pretty cool too. I lift things up and put them down there. You should definitely go work out first and then go eat at Sully’s Dog Shack because I told you so and you should do it because I always base all of my opinions off of reviewers online because the Internet is never wrong. Bye.

When my friend told me he wanted to stop by Sullys to get some hot dogs I was a little skeptical. When it comes to «dog shacks» I’m not the biggest fan as I would rather spend my money at a good Pizza place. But BOY, OH, BOY was I wrong! The moment we entered the establishment we were greeted by all the staff and were given a warm welcome, immediately dispelling any sort of awkwardness that one would face going to a new restaurant. They had a great selection of food ranging from the obvious hot dogs to the authentic polish pierogis. I myself ordered the Passion Dog as it was something unique, having a pineapple topping with bacon and cheddar cheese, you just cant resist. The wait wasn’t long, and the food was GREAT! If you are looking to enjoy good hot dogs in the company of good people then I would suggest you give Sullys Dog Shack a try, I’m almost positive our opinions wont differ.

if you have read my other reviews you might find that I love hot dogs and I basically have to try every hot dog joint I see. So today I decided to give Sully’s a shot. I have been there before, but that was a couple years ago. I remember not being impressed the last time, an after today’s.visit I can tell you that nothing else has chhanged. I arrived around 3:30 for a late lunch. I was greeted by a friendly waitress within a moment after I walked in. I took a moment to read their menu even though I knew exactly what I wanted to get. After noticing that they serve both chili sauce and meat sauce. I have found from visiting other hit dog establishments that most places really don’t know the difference between the two sauces, so I asked, and sure enough she didn’t really know either. I ordered three dogs with coney sauce, a coke, and a small bag of chips, which came to $ 9.50. Considdering the locale, their prices are too high. Dudley is a small town, yet the prices of the dogs here are about 1 ½ times the price at Worcester’s famous Coney Island. The dogs were delivered relatively quick and were, unfortunately, not natural casing. I couldn’t put my finger non what brand they were, but they weren’t very good. The coney sauce was very sweet and had a cheap, chemically hot sauce flavor. The only real upside was the toasted bun. I give them two stars, which is entirely due to their fast and friendly.service. As they stack up against other local competitors, they are slightly better than Coney 1950(locted in Webster) but well behind Famous Franks(located in Thompson), and lightyears behind Coney Island(located in Worcester). One could say that Sully’s is playing checkers while Coney Island is playing chess, but it would be more accurate to say that Coney Island is playing chess while Sully’s is still trying to figure out how to get that intimidating plastic wrapping off of their brand new checkers set.

I recently tried Sully’s Dog Shack about a month ago. I was actually quite surprised to see the variety of toppings you could put on a hot dog as well as the numerous hot dog«specials» My favorite is the Coney Dog. Very decently priced and friendly service makes this a must eat! Highly Recommended!!!

Sullys Dog Shack… if you want a great hot dog or, if you’re in the mood for some home made polish food… you have to stop by and try this unique place. They made me a dish of Golabki, a cheese and cabbage pierogie that tasted just like my polish significant others mama. Ohhhhhh so perfect! Place is very clean!

We stooped here today for lunch. Mrs B and little Ms B loved the dogs. $ 14.00 for 5 dogs, 2 bags of chip and 2 cans of soda was reasonable to feed the three of us. The lady behind the counter was friendly and nice enough to bring our food to us. Our only complaint is that they don’t serve French fries.
