I always really enjoy coming here. Our family has been coming here for many years. We came before it was bought and now under the new owners it is still great. Cozy, comfortable atmosphere. Food is always delicious. Owner is really friendly. I love the Mexican Omelette and get that a lot cause i love spicy food. Enjoy! :)

Its not the greasy spoon it once was, new folks own it and Very cordial, great food and will change anything to your taste. Free delivery! Large variety makes it a very good for eat in delivered!

So decided to check this place out again after 1 year and a half. It was a late weekday morning. The place was not busy and the server was very kind.
I ordered breakfast: pancakes, eggs, bacon, coffee
Coffee was actually OK
Pancakes –good taste but thin (not fluffy) decent size
Bacon– super thin, small links but crispy and kind of salty for my taste
Prices-​normal I guess but for me, I would rather go to TriValley for those prices-​actually TriValley may be less costly and their servings are more generous.
Will return for lunch… out of curiosity.

One of Dumont’s best kept secrets. Tucked away in the circle, this place is great for breakfast and lunch and is very inexpensive. You’ll love it too.

Had never gone here before the remodel and reopening. Nice little diner with a big menu. I love to order the bagel and lox platter and stare out the window, watching the cars drive around the circle. Reasonable prices.

Very solid local diner with a big menu, nicely renovated interior and polite staff. We regularly pop in after church or while out and about, and we have been really happy with everything we’ve tried from their breakfast menu.
It’s kid-​friendly and has ample parking, and while it’s small, it’s usually not crowded, which is my #1 requirement for going out to brunch with kids!

Decent food and good customer service. Good local place for breakfast. Prices are reasonable too.

I went here for the first time after running the Dumont 5K. I arrived at 10am on a Saturday to a very crowded and loud restaurant. It took about a minute for, what looked to be the owner, to greet me. It’s a small area without the luxury of much elbow room. He gave me the option of one of the two available tables or counter. I wasn’t going to occupy an entire table for just myself so I chose the counter. I was asked for a beverage before I looked at the menu. I requested and received grapefruit juice which later, I did not see listed on the menu. My meal was Eggs Benedict with homefries which I had never tried before. I ate it while watching Barney & Friends on NJTV and listening to some background music which I couldn’t make out from all the noise. It was a fine dining experience even when the owner spilled a drink and broke a glass in the corner of the restaurant and then asked for it to be mopped up. You can see everyone working very hard just to catch up.

Food was good. Service was fast and efficient. They came a long way with this place. Pizza wasn’t half bad either. The only thing was the waitress that was covered in hickies.

Tried the NEW Circle Diner and Pizza on Sunday. Ordered a meat-​lovers pie and an order of fried calamari. Friendly service and I like how they’ve updated the place but the food was only average. For pizza, lots of better options in town.
I will give them another try but with diner options and see how they do. Prices seem reasonable so I’m hoping that it was just an off night.

I’ve never been here before they renovated but I definitely am a fan of the ‘new’ Circle Diner. The service is friendly, the restaurant is clean, + the food is good with great prices. Definitely a great local place to have breakfast, lunch or dinner.
Highlights:
— The gravy that comes with their disco fries is REALLY good.
— Chicken tenders are delicious, they are a perfect appetizer size.
— Corn beef hash + eggs here are pretty tasty. They are served with potatoes and toast for under $ 7, can’t beat that deal.

I am heartbroken to say that this wonderful place has closed. The space will be reopening in a few weeks with another restaurant. We will miss Myrvette and Billy so much.

The Circle is a true gem! The food is simple, old school diner goodness. The waitresses make you feel like family… they are warm, friendly and real. Finally the prices are very reasonable especially for a meal that is this delicious and fresh.
Nothing fancy here… but for breakfast or lunch out this is always our family’s #1 choice.

Nifty little place! Quite cheap, old-​timey, the waitresses are all cute friendly old ladies. I usually stop by to pick up breakfast (make sure to check out the breakfast deal– a steal for less than 4 bucks!- only before 10:30 am I think) since I occasionally work nearby. Can’t review their lunch/​dinner. but if it similar to breakfast, very tasty (because everything is kinda DRENCHED in butter lol). I enjoy stopping by even if I’m just picking food up, just from the lovely atmosphere and the cheerful greetings I get. Swing by if you’re in the area!

I’ve only been to this diner twice and so far I think it’s excellent. The waitresses here are extremely generous and obviously enjoy their job. There’s plenty of seating here both next to the counter and at the various tables in the diner. The place has a nice, bright interior with great décor that gives you the impression that you are actually eating at a real diner. Circle has a pleasant, diverse menu with lots of great options to choose from. I tried a breakfast special that came with two eggs, home fries, toast, and coffee for a fair price that was well cooked and tasted great.
Overall, Circle has a friendly, attentive staff and serves great food. Try them out!

One of the best kept secrets in the area for breakfast. Where else can you get 2 eggs done any way you wish, home fries, toast and coffee or french toast and coffee for $ 3.25. You know its a good deal by looking at the senior customer base, the median age of the customers appear to be 60. Not a fancy place by any means but clean and staffed by a friendly crew.
