UPS is the absolute worst shipping company! I paid for 2 day air on a package, got confirmation emails that it would be on time and the day of delivery get an email stating it would be another 3 days. When I call to inquire I’m told that the high volume for the holidays is to blame, meanwhile the tracking info shows the package sat in their facility for 2 days. Now my math says it’s impossible to ship a package in 2 days when it sits in a warehouse for 2 days, no matter what holiday it is. If you can’t meet the obligations then you shouldn’t sell the option! $ 50 dollars in shipping for 2 day air and it’s going to arrive the same time as a $ 7 ground package.

Took a package in as my first stop to ship. Got the price for UPS which was pretty high. It was a larger box but under 8 lbs. Also was told the USPS price which was higher than UPS. Went ahead with the UPS shipping and after getting home learned that the USPS price I was quoted was double the real price. Wow! Not that I can get my $$ back now as they give no refunds but if my experience can save another person from this gouging then I’ll be happy. So, check out other options before using The UPS Store. Maybe it’s just this location that has this practice but I think I’ll avoid all UPS Stores from now on. :-(

These guys are sharks. I brought in a package that weighs 49 lbs and was 36×18×12, they charged me for an 87 lb package 40×19×19, $ 64 vs $ 45. I should have checked the shipping label which is the only place this information shows up! Ahhhh!

Mailed a package the last minute before Christmas. Was told it would be there on the 27th, but was super surprised to find out that it was delivered on the 24th. Well done!

I recently used this store to ship a large coffee maker(25 lbs) back for warranty work. I had packed the coffeemaker myself and the owner warned me that without bubble wrap around the machine, UPS would not honor a damage claim. For a nominal fee the owner repacked the device. Well, wouldn’t you know it, the machine got damaged in shipping. UPS honored the claim in large part because the owner verified that the package was packed correctly. Recently I receive payment from UPS to cover the damage. The owner of this store was helpful and courtesy very step of the way. I can’t recommend him and his store highly enough. Hal Sandick
