Love spartys! The owner is always friendly and active within the community. Best coney dog in Michigan!!! Better than American and Lafayette.

Typical small town«diner» style restaurant. Large portion sizes and decent prices for the most part. The Ala carte menu can be pricey… to add a side salad to my meal was about 6 dollars extra. Staff are always friendly and I’ve never had a bad meal. Coney dogs and polish sausages are great!

When the Frandor management upgraded the east side and removed the mask like enclosed hallways I worked on this project for Consumers Energy, we ate there every day and when we are in the area working now we eat there, the cops eat there. At the register they ask how my meal was, my reply always is,” I’ve never had a bad meal in this place.” Hope it never closes

A great place to eat to rest while shopping at the Frandor Shopping Center and meet up with co-workers for lunch. If you’ve never been, what’s wrong with you! Stop in have a great meal, breakfast is served any time, and the burgers are great. A must recommend, treat yourself.

Good stuff. Can be pricey if you’re not careful. 3 dollars can turn into 20 quick. My advice stick to the menu. No substitutions. While I don’t think it’s the best coney in Lansing it’s definitely the number 2. It’s pretty cool that u can get both Detroit and flint style authentic under the same roof. Everyone leaves happy always

I didn’t have the opportunity to experience this restaurant unfortunately because my husband and I were turned away the second we walked in. Having never been here before we didn’t know that they closed at 2pm on Sunday’s. We walked in at 1:58, the guy in the kitchen doesn’t even look at us and says«we’re closed.» We thought he was joking. So we laugh and he says«no we close at 2 on Sunday’s». I had no words. Having worked in the restaurant business for 10 years you NEVER turn away business before the actual time of close. Even if it is 2 minutes before!!! It wasn’t midnight, it was 2pm! And there were still people eating so it’s not like they would have waited on us to close. I was APPALLED. I have never eaten there and nor will I EVER return after how my husband and I were treated. They definitely lost our business.

Best Coney’s in town! You have to go Flint style. Breakfast is great, love the giant pancakes. It gets crowded weekend mornings and everyday at lunch, get there early. No place to wait for a table. It’s very dated if you mind that sort of thing, but the food is great.

I went in for breakfast by myself during a holiday visit to East Lansing. What a great breakfast! Super friendly service. Pretty basic, how-you-doing coffee that could be better but it’s just what you’d expect here.

This place is the. Real. Deal. Period. A diner and Michigan-style coney dog joint – the kind of place all the chains are trying to mimic. Sparty’s has been dishing out massive pancakes, breakfast(always served with a heaping pile of home fries), and Detroit/Flint coneys for 30 years. The wait staff is on top of everything, the service is quick, the food is cheap, and the owner is often there greeting guests and running the register. Sure, the coffee is weak, but Sparty’s is a Lansing area staple. Come here, order breakfast, thank me later. I’ve been coming here since I was a kid and can’t wait for my next visit to the area to return.

Worst Coney Island I’ve ever been too. waited over 45 minutes for food and it never came. Watched multiple people order after us get their food before us eat and leave before we got food. Kept asking where our food was at kept being told it was next up. Waited 15 more minutes went up to the owner he claimed they make everything made to owner and we were next up. Could see they weren’t working on our order. Finally left after 50 minutes of waiting. Owner said«cancel there order» and said we’d wait this long in any restaurant. The owner was a complete ass and didn’t even try to resolve the wait. Worst place I will never go back.

Great food for a a great price. Their pancakes are huge so you don’t need to order much. I’ve tried pretty much their whole breakfast menu and have been more than happy with everything that I’ve ordered.

Sparty’s is a classic greasy spoon joint that’s quite good. They have the best Detroit coney sauce– for real, the best you can get in Mid– Michigan anyways. They have a solid breakfast and the staff really works hard. Also, Spartan fans will have plenty of memorabilia to look at on the walls of the joint.

You won’t be disappointed! I grew up in the Detroit area and I’ve had my fair share of coneys. Sparty’s is awesome! My husband and I tried both the Detroit and Flint style coney dogs. The Detroit was pretty similar to a national style dog. The chili was just a little spicy. The Flint was meaty and delicious. The fries were to die for! They tasted fresh, crisp, and are very addicting. We will be frequenting this place often. Can’t wait to try breakfast!

This place is an awesome eatery! My wife and I hit it up last night right before close and they served us quick, with happy faces, and the food was delicious! The Flint style coney was my favorite since it had the meat on top. Reasonably priced too! They have different deals of the week too. They say they are the best breakfast in town but we didn’t eat breakfast so we can’t really vouch for that. However, the atmosphere and food was great! A must go when you are in Lansing!

An East Lansing institution! My family has been having Detroit style coneys there since I was a little girl. The Frandor location is an enduring reminder of childhood, and for many others of their college days in East Lansing. The server was very conscientious and prompt. It was a nice place to go to feel a little nostalgic. PS. the food is good, too…

There used to be three locations in the greater Lansing area. Now, just the one, which is to bad… considering this is the only coney island place that has a good version of the Flint Style Coney. I do not know if they make in house or order from Angelo’s in Flint, but they use Koegels!

This is, by far, my favorite breakfast place in the Lansing area. Friendly service, reasonable prices, and consistently delicious food. Don’t make the mistake of ordering more than one pancake: they’re as big as your head! Their American Fries are my favorite thing on the menu(if they’re not super busy, ask for them extra crispy-yum!) The waitresses and cooks absolutely hustle their butts off! I’ll frequently tip as much as my bill because those people are working hard. Don’t forget to add a few bucks to the jar by the register for the cooks!

Fast, friendly service and great food!!! What else can you ask for? The breakfast menu is outstanding! ! The servings are so large it is almost impossible to finish. I stop by Sparty’s at least once a week! Also, two of their chili dogs are Plato’s idea pf the perfect lunch.
