We asked for an estimate for some tree trimming along with my neighbor. The rep (Actually the District Manager) came and spent some time with both of us. It would be a sizable job with work on both our properties. We never heard back. I sent the rep an e mail and he never responded. I called today just for the hell of it to see if anyone ever heard of us and the receptionist took my name saying that someone would be in touch. No response. Find someone else for your tree trimming needs in the western suburbs. Let’s see if this is posted on their review website.

I was very satisfied with my experience. I needed someone to do some significant tree trimming on my property, and when I put in a call to Davey they had someone out at my place the next day to do a free evaluation.
They gave me an estimate and made a couple suggestions of other maintenance I should consider and left it at that. Totally no-​pressure situation. The rep was knowledgable and professional, and I was impressed at how much time he took to do a thorough inspection.
I approved the work they suggested and they had crews coming out to complete the work with very little required of me. The work crews were also knowledgable and professional.
I didn’t do a lot of shopping around, so I don’t know how competitive their prices are. It seemed expensive, but as I mentioned there was a lot of work to do. Two guys spent the better part of a day working on the tree trimming.
But as far as the experience and results go I couldn’t be happier. Shop around if you like but these guys are a solid, reliable, professional option.

I needed two trees removed from my very small St Paul backyard. Due to the wind storm earlier this year, I have been trying to hire an arborist for months. They called me the same day they were given my name, and I had an estimate in hand within 24 hours. The trees were cut down within a week after I approved the estimate and the stumps were ground and surface roots removed. They were not the cheapest estimate that I received, but they were worth every penny. The trees were a black cherry and an ash. The black cherry was sick and leaning towards my neighbors house. It is great peace of mind to have it taken care of before winter.
