Have been here many times and the staff changes as often as an Asian idol girl group. This is guilty pleasure Americanized Thai/Chinese food. I usually go for the pineapple or mango chicken with lo mein and mixed vegetables. The curry chicken is tasty as well. The creaminess of the pineapple chicken and oiliness of the lo mein can be a bit much. And the fish was unimpressive. But the food is cheaper and better than Asian Chao from across the food court.

Lo mein is pretty decent but stay away from the nasty mango chicken. I came here with the kids for a quick lunch, not expecting much from mall food, but this chicken was anything but white meat. It was fatty, chewy, and unpleasant. Big mistake, I won’t make that error again.

These people are basically selling Chinese food as Thai food. Their Pad Thai is nothing like the Pad Thai I have eaten anywhere else. Just a waste of money. I asked them to make it spicy and it was not! So I want over for some hot sauce and they gave me a container of Chinese hot oil and told me that was Thai hot sauce… yeah, who are u fooling? If u like Chinese, u r lucky but if u don’t u feel CHEATED!!!

Hubby enjoyed very much the generous portion of Pad thai chicken. The restaurant was located in the large food court.

It’s cheap, but the food is cold and they don’t understand me when I order… To top it off, the girl who hands out samples was totally going to town picking her nose WHILESTANDINGINFRONTHANDINGOUTFOOD!!! Then, to add insult to injury, she ATEIT! I have never gone back since! I actually lose my appetite when I walk past their shop on my way to Chipotle.

I went to get Padthai today(04/20/2014)&as I am done with order. I requested for red sauce & the lady at the register is arrogant & shouting whatever you find outside take it. As I don’t see any red sauce outside I told her the same & she started screaming. Worst customer service. I cant give less than 1 star. If not I would give 0 Star. She acted like she is doing me a favor by selling me food. Thai Kitchen need to understand that we have lot of options & they don’t want to screw the customers who comes in. Not to mention I am not going back again. I suggest everyone to find another place where we can get respect for the money we spent.

Mall food. Expectations aren’t terribly high to begin with since it is a vendor in the food court. The setup is typical. One person offering samples of their signature chicken dish on a toothpick to passerbys. Option of Fried Rice or Noodles with either one or two meat dishes. Since this is a Thai place, the Noodle option is Pad Thai. They attempt to squeeze an additional dollar out of you by charging a surcharge if you want a seafood option as your meat. I went with one fried rice and one chicken option for $ 5.75. The sample chicken was Mango Chicken. Sweet, but not overly so. Tempting, but still too sweet for my palette. I considered other options for my dish, but nothing seemed to call me. I decided to go with the Spicy Penang Chicken option. I asked how spicy it was– it was difficult for her to understand my question, so I just gave up and ordered. I asked for an additional spring roll addon. Simple request, probably similar to a thousand other patrons throughout the day. The worker didn’t seem to understand my request. I stated it again, louder. Still nothing. Then again, slower and louder. Then she understood. She explained that they are cooking in the back and she can’t hear anything over the noises from the kitchen. I wondered how they managed to fill orders all day. My fried rice and Spicy Penang Chicken dish was ok. Nothing special and nothing I would return for. The chicken was not spicy at all– on the contrary it was actually extremely bland(and I can not tolerate ANY spice in my food!).

Let me start by saying I’ve never eaten here, nor do I plan on it after my terrible experience with their customer service. I was walking around the mall today with a friend of mine and on the way out we were walking past Ruby Thai. I saw a man and woman standing out in front of the place handing out samples. Never one to turn down food, I decided to approach him to try a sample. All of a sudden he starts yapping and making a scene waving my friend and I away. Amongst the motions for us to move along I heard something along the lines of «no more!» and«that’s enough!» Being as I’m not a very confrontational person and at the time I was in a complete state of confusion at what was happening, my friend and I continued walking along without escalating to a manager to see why we were rudely refused free samples. When we arrived at the car is when the anger set in at what had most likely happened. We’re assuming he mistook us for another group of customers walking by who maybe had taken more than their fair share of free samples. Regardless, it was very rude and very embarrassing as everyone in the crowded food court was staring on at us as if we had done something wrong. These employees should work on their facial recognition before they go turning away and embarrassing potential customers. I’ll never even look at this place again when I’m considering food options and I’ll make sure all of my friends and family are aware of how rudely we were treated. Not a good look, Ruby Thai. Not a good look.

They are very quick and EXTREMELY generous with portions. However, the food is good, but not that special, especially when Asian Chao is right across from Ruby Thai.

Nice Thia food from a food court. Like most Far Easr eateries there is a free food platter to draw you in. There meal deals have have choice of 2 sides(steamed vegitables, fried rice, lo mein) and one main dish. I got the basil chicken and it was nice. They gave me more than I could possibly eat for $ 7.
