Wonderful place to find unique plants for the garden, gifts, things for your home, seasonal and vintage items, and sometimes even furniture! Love this place and the shop owner to pieces

Every time we stop in, we are delighted by the thoughtfully curated selection of home décor… When they open the back garden for spring — fall, it’s double the delight!

Prepared to be stalked and attacked if you don’t spend lots of money here. It’s not Bountiful Home, It’s «Uncomfortable Home.» I had an awful experience several weeks back. I spent around a half hour at Bountiful Home enjoying the garden, the creativity in decorating both indoors and out. I absolutely love the selection of cottage/nature cards and decorations. My husband and I selected a green man garden plaque and a beautiful bird card by a local artist. The owner offered to wrap the items and hold them at the cash register while I continued to look around the store items and talk with my husband about future gift ideas. However, shortly the owner became incredibly rude. He stalked me and asked, «Have you solved world peace yet?» I was confused by his question. I said, «This is a wonderful peaceful environment. I love this place and your sense of style.» He responded«I’m always amazed at the analytical customers who spend a long time here examining each detail and then they only buy one small thing.» I felt really uncomfortable and asked my husband to check out our purchases so we could leave. Meanwhile, I escaped towards the entrance of the shop and continued looking at some items to distract me from this incredibly weird situation. But, the owner came around and cornered me asking, «since you are so into style, I’m, thinking of changing the colors in here for the holidays. What color do you recommend?» I was confused by his question, but I remained polite, «I don’t know, maybe red and gold?» He scolded me. «For this season the colors are red and silver.» I left feeling attacked in an indirect, adolescent sort of way. You know when you feel kicked in the gut, but it’s all confusing and not straight? As if I were wrong to spend so much time there and buy only $ 40? How much does one have to buy in order to earn the right to browse there? And as if I care what the current holiday season colors are? I will no longer go to this store. From now on I go to similar shops in Snohomish and La Conner. As for garden Items, I’ll stick with Wight’s and Skye Nursery.

Charming little store in downtown Edmonds, we had a good time exploring the nooks and crannies in this old home turned store. It was decorated for Christmas when we visited, with everything from ornaments to holiday scented soaps. My favorite was the back room stuffed from floor to ceiling with kitchen goodies and treats! Seemed to be reasonably priced and there is street parking out front or an easy walk from any parking for the downtown shops.
