Rory’s of Edmonds Bar & Grill

Ok, a bar is usually not my haunt, but we decided to meet an out of state visitor at a convenient place and this was it. It was game day, but there was still seating. We were greeted by staff and was told they would be with us once we found our seats. The game being on, the TVs — there were a lot of them — were turned up, the place was humming. We ordered a set of onion rings that were amazing. Then the Irish Whiskey stew — good solid comfort food with two slices of bread that were the show stoppers. It proved to be a good place to have a nice rainy afternoon visit. Good service in spite of it being really, really busy. Glad we choose to go there.

Ok place to kill time over all, great time to have in summer. Beers are not as cold as it should be in summer, i don’t know why but I believe its their glasses… Water and waitresses are not my favorite type of the ones that should serve in bar as they are kind of careless and all the time in rush, you would never feel you welcome in this place. But after all I go there sometimes and kill some time specially during the week. Not too bad I just shared what I thought. I have to mention their burgers are yummy

We watched the last half of the game here last weekend.
The beer list is good and the service is good. The food is pretty good, too.
They REALLY need to keep a closer eye on their clientele. People were belligerently, dangerously drunk. We literally got 2 entire drinks spilled on our table. I was soaked as was my purse and hair. The clientele was just out of control. I don’t understand why they were still getting served.
I have been going to Rory’s (off and on) for years and I can say I will not be watching a game here again. It was just out of control and unenjoyable. Yes, I like cheering, Yes, I like camaraderie with other patrons and fans. I do not like having drinks spilled on me and my table and body being ran into and the bartenders continuing to serve these people drinks. That is not acceptable.
I will return during the day but this left a bad taste in my mouth. We felt so badly for our server. Those two tables next to us absolutely trashed the whole area.
Rory’s needs to class it up just a tad as our experience was shockingly bad.
No, the bar can’t control people’s behavior. Yes, they can stop serving them (which is the legal thing to do) when they have reached their limit and are acting extremely disruptive and inappropriate. They should have been removed from the bar.

Because of the diet restrictions I recently had going into a bodybuilding show I was only able to indulge and enjoy their salads coming here. Definitely check it out, everyone’s food at my table looked absolutely amazing and was thoroughly enjoyed, my salad was even a four star salad without any question there.

The food and atmosphere was great as usual, but our server Isaac F. made our visit exceptional! If you’re looking to experience a little local culture in Edmonds, look no further than this fine establishment.

The service was awesome. I was totally impressed.
Unfortunately, the food was a huge let down. The nachos come topped with chili, which I would assume is the chili their menu brags about. Well, the chili tasted 100% canned. The nachos were just really boring and came with the smallest condiment cups of guac, sour cream, and salsa.
My fiancé ordered the Irish whiskey stew that was the special. It was also boring and bland.
Yuck. We won’t return. I feel sorry for their servers who were really nice dudes.

Hands down our favorite place to grab happy hour in Edmonds. The nachos are a steal. I prefer to ask for them without the chili (aka the meat). A unique feature is they top the nachos with shredded Parmesan. Yum!

Great customer service, great location and food is good. Nice little place with a great atmosphere.

The crew and I went today. Something was off? We waited a long time for service, food was so so and the staff wasn’t what we were used to. Hope it was just an off day!

Great place for pub grub with great service.

Seating yourself can be a little tricky because it may take a while before anyone notices you. I probably would have been able to leave as well without any staff knowing I was ever in there.
They have a great selection of food on paper, but my burger left me pretty disappointed. It was very dry, and the only flavor came from the condiments.
Service was ok at best, and that’s as much as I can say about that.
Won’t be coming back

Was on the patio for 20 minutes with out anybody even bringing us a glass of water. Two waiters looked in our direction but never approached. Terrible service felt very uncomfortable. Got up and left with no one noticing.

This is a nice little place to eat down by the beach in Edmonds. We went on a Saturday night, and although they were very busy, we were able to get a table right away and the service was still pretty good. The food was good, the menu had a good variety to choose from. There is a decent view of the beach/​water from inside the restaurant as well as from the outdoor seating area. Parking is probably the biggest issue as there is no lot for this restaurant, so you will have to drive around for a bit to find street parking, especially on a weekend.

Great spot to grab a beer and solid burger on a spring/​summer day with a few friends. When it gets cold outside, pull up a seat by the round community table with the fire inside.

Great neighborhood sports bar! A little small and loud, but not bad for a low-​key night with a few friends. The fire pit seating inside is great but too hot. The place is actually quite small and the bat seating is incredibly limited. It’s like they WANT you to stand!
But the service was good … Nothing fancy, but nothing extraordinary EXCEPT for the location.

Called as we pulled up to the toll booths for the Edmonds to Kingston ferry. We were told 20 mins, it was ready in 10! Great beer selection, unfortunately we weren’t able to take advantage since we got the food to go. Food was great. IF we still lived in Kingston, we’d walk-​on from the Kingston and ride across to get a dive bar meal of great pub food. Some of the best ribs I’ve had in a long time, and I’m from KC
If you just miss the ferry, and have to wait for the next one, I HIGHLY recommend making the call and making the 5 min walk.

Rory’s has easily become my go-​to in Edmonds. I love the staff (one of them taught us his dance to «Party in the USA»), and I’m OBSESSED with the black bean taquitos. So while a few years ago I wasn’t bragging about the food, this is me bragging. The taquitos are ridic. In the best way. Their sriracha chicken bites are pretty dang good too. If one night you happen to be in Rory’s and the music selection changes to either Spice Girls or Hanson, it wasn’t me, I swear! (It was probably me)

Probably understaffed on this Saturday afternoon. Food was bland and average sized portions. Reggae music was so loud that waitress couldn’t hear the order and we couldn’t hear each other at the table. Service took a very long time as well and water wasn’t full most of the time.
Like I said, probably understaffed.

Wowzer! This place is a party on the water. It reminds me of bars back home (WV) that are more bar — restaurants than restaurants with bars. The menu is great, absolutely loved my ham and cheese on rye with fries. My wife liked the reuben.
There was a table next to us enjoying shots and having a great time. The music is loud and just adds to the good time. I kept the receipt so I could give a shout out to the waitress but I lost it!
Great spot, check it out but please remember it’s a bar/​restaurant. Kid friendly though!

Came here on a Monday night. Staff so friendly they lit the outdoor heater and we’re great with such fast service. Loved the beer and IPA selection. Our server was awesome and knowledgeable on different brands and taste.
We ordered nachos. They were yummy. A full menu can’t wait to try more items. I just moved back to Edmonds. Can’t wait to go back a perfect experience
