If you’re a gourmet chef or if you just play one at home, Chef’s Shoppe is a place you gotta check out. Seriously, they have everything you will ever need for your kitchen and then some. You’ll feel like you are shopping at Sur La Table, Williams-Sonoma or Bed, Bath and Beyond, but you’ll be shopping LOCAL. Being a old farm boy, I love their selection of Lodge Cast Iron cookware. Nothing beats a nice big skillet to fix up some Sunday Fried Chicken. I also like the large selection of hot sauces and spices. It has assisted me in creating several gift baskets for friends and family who like things on the spicy side. If you’re a popcorn addict, they have an awesome popcorn shoppe within the store. They offer a wide variety of flavors and tins to make gift giving easy. Or just buy yourself a couple bags for your next Netflix marathon. Next time you need gadgets and gizmos for the kitchen, remember to shop local and remember Chef’s Shoppe.

The Chef’s Shoppe is a really high quality store for all your kitchen needs. They’ve got pretty much all the gadgets, pans, utensils, accessories, and on and on that you could possibly want or need in your kitchen. They’ve also generally got a good spread of products from top of the line to more cost effective options. They’ve also always got a nice assortment of seasonal products. If you are a home chef or baker, novice or expert, this place will be very helpful to you. They also sell various mixes like cheeseball and cake and bread mixes. Also they have spice mixes and all that jazz. All really good stuff. Tastiest of all, they’ve got fudge. Tasty, tasty fudge. Whenever we are in the area, we make sure to stop in and see what kitchen things we didn’t even know we wanted or needed.

i live around the corner from this place. I have been in buying little things here and there. This past Christmas i was looking to buy my gf a set of wusthof knifes for a gift. I went in to the store and was helped by the owner. They were extremely busy because me like most guys were shopping the Monday and Tuesday before Christmas. She took alot of time and gave me a great education on the knifes and what made them worth so much more then others. I ended up buying a set along with some other extra knifes. after i got home with my perches i was curious what they sell for at online retailers. I always expect to pay more at these locally owned specialty shops but as long as its not double it normally does not bother me. After looking online i found out it was less here then the online retailers. I still br all my friends and family about how this shops pricing is better then online stores and the people working here are knowledgeable about there products and that alone is hard to find. Big thumbs up for these guys and keep up the great work. I have now been in the shop trying to buy things like champagne glasses or cutting boards before i go to a big box store. so take my advice. Go here first and leave with knowledge and the products you are looking for. Larry G

What a place! I had their cake and popcorn yesterday which was amazing! I used to live in Chicago and consumed the famous Garrett’s popcorn on multiple occasions and Cheffs Shoppe is actually better. I highly recommend them and will be returning in the near future.

I love visiting here. The prices are a bit high but I love supporting local family owned businesses. They do have great deals on clearance items though. The staff is helpful and welcoming. The cake balls, gourmet popcorn and fudge are exquisite. This is a great place to find unique gifts for the cook in your family.

Lovely store to find unique gifts. Friendly staff. Nice to find a place to shop when you need just that item. Yes prices are a little higher than I want to pay — but then so are all the items in the Grocery store anymore.

This is the place I come when I’m looking for unique kitchen or bar items. They carry some of the more high-end brands if you’re looking for kitchenware that you can write into your will. Not only do they have everything for my kitchen and bar, but they sell fudge, popcorn, sodas(Jones, Excel Bottling), and gourmet ingredients. Pro tip: sign up for the email list to get the latest sales(5th Sat., etc.)

Merry Christmas. For the holidays, we received a bag of gourmet popcorn from Chef’s Shoppe. The flavors caramel and white cheddar mixed were absolutely delicious! We enjoyed it immensely! I would order it online anytime and welcome the opportunity to visit the store. Thanks JP for the tasty gift!

This is a lovely little store, really. Pricing varies. Kitchen textiles, I find them to be a bit high. Some of those oven mitts and aprons you can find cheaper elsewhere. Overall, you’re looking at Williams-Sonoma prices, but without the drive to Plaza Frontenac. A little cramped in the store, wish there was a bit more space. Staff is a bit young, so know what you’re looking for, since they’re unknowledgeable when it comes to the products. Although, there are a couple of older ladies during the day that do know their cookware. If you sign up for their email alerts, you know when they’re going to have a 10% off everything in the store on Saturdays. Which helps if you’re eyeballing a new Lecreuset dutch oven. Overall, I recommend this store to any closet gadget collecting women and cooks in general.

The Chef’s Shoppe is a great specialty kitchen store. I recently bought a few items and returned one when I realized it wasn’t dishwasher safe. Who wants to hand wash anything anymore? Not me. Anyway, the return process was pretty painless except the clerk kept explaining how easy it is to hand wash the pan I was returning. I’m not interested in getting dish pan hands! I would shop around for some of the items in the store. Their prices seem to be a bit higher than other stores in the area. Some of the items they carry are available at the local BBB at a lower price, especially with a 20% off coupon. I digress as I am known to pay more for service at a local business instead of a chain. However, there is a ceiling of how much more I’m willing to pay. In some instances, Chef’s Shoppe’s prices are above that ceiling.
