Very nice and friendly staff. Offer water bottle when I went looking for water. Though they do have water at their café for free. Ice machine every floor and and soda machine too!!! Non-smoking. Spacious. Neat and clean room. Very comfy compare to other hotel such as western.

I had to find a place near the University for me. This was open. When we arrove to check-in there was a car right in the front door. They had the car sealed(it was a cold, blustery night) but music was cranked and the car smelled of cigarette smoke. Unsure if it was an employee or guest… There was no one at the counter(LATE chaeck in) so I had to dial to get help. The gentleman who came and checked us in was very pleasant and polite. The hotel seems slightly dated. Old colors, carpet, and furishing. It is all non-smoking which is a big plus. The walls are very thin so we got to listen to TV and converstaions for awhile from our neighbors. The breakfast area is made up of cereal, bread products, scrambled eggs, waffles(make your own), fruit and a few other things. Though it was a late start for us ALL the chairs were occupied. Not all the tables, people had taken the chairs and used them at tables. If there were more chairs then more folks could have enjoyed breakfast in the area vs carrying everything back to the room. I also used the exercise room in the morning. They have a stationary bike, tread mill, and a few free weights. I didn’t bring my own towel so I felt bad as I left the bike sweaty and was sweaty on my way back up to my room. Sorry to anyone after me but there was no sign to bring own towel. Check out was uneventful. Bill was accurate. They don’t print out a copy unless you ask.

Service: +5 stars Upkeep: –4 stars Breakfast: +1 star It’s upsetting that I really do have to give Comfort Inn two stars. I wouldn’t stay here again… which isn’t something very nice to say considering Andrew at the front desk is probably THEMOST hospitable hotel/motel employee I’ve ever had the pleasure of encountering. I stayed here for my first night in a multi-day journey to New England. Weary of driving, I opted for an internet deal that landed me at this sequestered, secluded hotel. The lobby looked clean albeit very very dated… like 1970s dated, and not in the charming too many bright colors and a disco ball sort of way… more like in the style of awful dirty sepia. My first room smelled heavily of smoke even though the sign insisted that the room was, in fact, non-smoking. The AC had been turned off, which only exacerbated the musty moldy smells lurking from damp corners. The bathroom light glowed yellow, lending an alien invader look to the cavern. Andrew kindly swapped my room, and later inquired as to how the new room was, whether I needed anything else and informed me of the breakfast offered in the morning. The new room smelled less of dank cave, but was so frigid that even after burying myself under two beds worth of blankets and turning off the AC, I still could feel frost forming on my nose. It’s old so the Comfort Inn gives the impression that it’s dirty. In reality, it could be cleaner than new hotels… but I just couldn’t ever bring myself to stay here again. An update is in order.

Stayed here to come in town for a friends wedding – the hotels they had blocks in were completely full. However, I travel a decent amount and Comfort Inns aren’t bad, so I wasn’t too disappointed. Forgot my suit, so I can’t talk about the pool, but the do have an indoor one. Staff was super nice. Breakfast was ok – I’m a fan of sausage gravy & biscuits, so I was happy. What I wasn’t happy with… I had a smoking room, something I didn’t remember having when I made the reservation… The room didn’t smell much like smoke, so I was thankful for that, since I don’t smoke. HOWEVER, when I got home and pulled out my pajamas… they WREAK of cigarette smoke! The smoke must be so far infused into that mattress that despite clean sheets my clothes still smell like I smoke a pack a day. Really not happy about that… maybe if they Febreze the mattresses when they change the sheets it might help. Not a bad place to stay, but if you’re sensitive to cigarette smoke or just don’t like it., be sure not to get a smoking room!
