Great restaurant! This was our first visit. We arrived Tuesday night around 845pm. I was very satisfied with our server(Brittany) she was very friendly and explained the menu to us! Although, a waiter spilled a drink on me… accidents happen… But, I would definitely visit again! Manager was very accommodating and also friendly! Food was amazing! I am definitely impressed! Loved the atmosphere. as well as the perfect lighting and décor! Two Thumbs up! :)

Food wasn’t bad but generic. Their shrimp was fine but not exciting. I was expecting bigger(and local) fish selection.

Chain review: I hate to rate chain restaurants on the same scale as other restaurants so I’m starting out every chain restaurant review with this statement: The review is based on a comparison with other chain restaurants and a 4 star on a chain review does not equal that of some of my other 4 star ratings. I’m not sure why the bonefish doesn’t rate higher. I’ve always had consistently good fish at the bonefish. The last was an Oscar Mahi Mahi. The fish was grilled perfectly and had that nice grilled taste that didn’t distract from the fish. I always liked the Au Gratin potatoes and the asparagus was cooked perfectly. The staff has always been friendly and it was nice that the manager came around to see if everything was ok. Yes this is a chain restaurant, but to me the food is just as good as other non chained restaurants.

When you visit the Bone Fish its all about location, location, location! Considering they should all be the same you can assume its all about the management. The food is just ok, this place is what I defined as Casual –upscale, mid to high price food so you should expect casual to upscale food and service. Ok now our third time to this place will be our last and this after just visiting one in Northern NJ near Parsippany(fantastic location on all points). If your thirsty at the Egg Harbor location good luck lol, you drinks will be coming at the speed of Donald Trump apologies to Mexico haha. Service is trained at the level equal too Burger King, only problem is the cost is not a Happy meal but more on the lines of a Whopper when looking at the value and dining experience. Do they care ?? no because they have a captive audience, you will wait unless you have a reservation so the shore demand keeps this place alive. In fairness to them and the brand, as stated its about location, been to the Parsippany NJ location many times with large groups small groups and other locations without incident, but Egg Harbor has its own personality and to me its not good. Places like this survive on the brand name and demand vs competition. Food was just sub par, even the manner of the way its cooked vs how you have requested it to be cooked.

Server was fast and very friendly. House salad was fresh and the Citrus vinaigrette was sweet and tangy. My son had the chicken fingers and fries. He enjoyed that. I had the Ahi Tuna entrée with zucchini as a side. Zucchini was fresh and very tasty. Ahi tuna was very fresh and delicious.

Bang for the buck is good here. I took advantage of the Tuesday night prefix special for 15 bucks. It came with salad, the tuna bowl, and desserts. Excellent quality for the price. I can’t think of many places you can even get close to a deal like that. The bread is excellent, by the way.

my review from 8⁄12 was how it used to be. i’ve been back since, several times, and the place seems to be regressing. the value part of it is disappearing FAST. the last time i was here, i noticed it, but figured i just made an ordering faux pas on maybe one of the few items that were overpriced. put it this way. we ate here on a Saturday night(no drinks, two salads, three apps) and spent about the same as we did the next night at Steve & Cookies in Margate(no drinks, two salads, two entrees, one app, two desserts). that doesn’t make any sense. paying $ 6 for four medium sized blackened shrimp to be added to my salad? the bang bang shrimp has about 1⁄3 less in it for basically $ 10 and was fried hard or something — they were different and not nearly as good as they usually are. there were more little things, but you get the point. to boot, the service was pretty damn slow. extraordinarily nice, but sloooow and forgetful when there was basically nobody in the restaurant. it’s stuff like this that makes me want to NOT come back. maybe to the Wawa-every-day-money-for-mediocre-return crowd, this works, but not for us. the saving grace is, again, that the food tastes good. if the food totally sucked, it’d be a one star.

This place is not really for people who are not into seafood. The complimentary bread and the olive oil blend is delicious. I don’t like how when requesting for paper napkins, we get brought bathroom paper towels… they have real napkins(at the bar) Bang bang shrimp is a must. Comes with chopsticks which makes me happy! I use chopsticks for most of my meal there, unless I need a fork and knife to cut. The Fire & Ice ceviche is good, has scallops, fish, shrimp, and guac. with tortilla chips. The chipotle shrimp flat bread is well flavored and good as well. Fontina chop is good and so are the lamb chops. I don’t recommend the filet mignon on skewers. The filets are tiny! Smaller than tip of my pinky. Sauce is good though. I rather eat a whole filet.

Full bar, great food, girls night out type a place for me. This place is always crowded from day one, over the past years, it’s getting busier while the area is dying out. Bang bang shrimp, mussels Josephine! and mango sauce.

It was my first time here and my boyfriend suggested the place. I definitely enjoyed the fish– fresh and tasted good. Overall, good food and service. I would definitely come back. P. S. my boyfriend is a fan of the bang bang shrimp. That night we ordered the chicken instead. It was okay– chicken and sweet mayo sauce and nothing special for me. I would stick to fish.

Had a wonderful dinner tonight at the bar! I had a glass of riesling, the lobster thermidor mahi mahi dish and a cup of the corn chowder with the lump crab. I picked the chowder to start as it was recommended by the bartender and it was very rich and tasty. The entrée was really delicious! Fish was cooked perfectly and the lobster with the cream topping paired with the fish perfectly. It was accompanied with garlic mashed potatoes and cous cous. Service was great, the bartender was very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. All of suggestions were spot on. The ambiance was lovely as well. I will be back when I’m in the area.

I always have a great time when I come here. Yes, it is a chain but by now you know I support the people who work in said chains — and I like the people here very much. When we walked it, one of the bartenders called out«Ladies!!! Welcome to happy hour!» Nice! We sat at the bar and it was pretty empty as we got there 10 minutes to 5. We ordered drinks which were made while the bartender engaged in small talk — very friendly and very personable. I posted a few pictures, I should have taken some when we were about to leave, it went from empty to packed full with standing room only. For the hour and a half that we were there, we were taken care of by the four bartenders that work there. Each one came over at one point to check on us, chit chat & as if everything tasted ok. At no point did we feel rushed or that we had to vie for attention. Chain or not, the service is fantastic and consistent every time we have come here. Now on to the food, they brought hot bread & a pesto olive oil for dipping. I could have made a meal out of that bread, it was hot, fresh and chewy on the outside with a soft wonderful inside. Uh! So good!!! They have a couple vegetarian options for those of is that do not eat meat or fish and I had the roasted vegetables on a bead of couscous. It was delicate, lightly seasoned and delicious, I ate very last bite. When our bill came it was way less than I would have thought, we had 6 glasses of wine, appetizers and entrees for $ 68 and some change. Happy Hour indeed!

Two words: Sunday Brunch. Two more words: Bottomless Mimosas(or sangria/bellini). Food is great and service was amazing. We’ve been here twice, both times were awesome. This last one… our au graten potatoes were taking a few extra minutes so the manager bought us an appetizer. Score! Our server Ashley was incredible… you will not be disappointed with the Sunday brunch… and only $ 20!

Love the it here! Such a shame Genuardi’s has left this shopping plaza but I hope this restaurant will stick around because I think Bonefish Grill is a great balance of relaxed and comfortable upscale dining. The atmosphere is dark and inviting with an open dining room. Personally I enjoy the booths in the bar area the most and there are also high top communal tables in the bar if you don’t want to wait for a table. They have recently added some very nice furniture for outside dining as well. The menu here features seafood, but also has other options as well. Prices here are very affordable for all the seafood options they offer with crab, lobster, mussels and fish. The fresh warm bread an seasoned olive oil is a great start and then for appetizers I would have to suggest you try the Bang Bang Shrimp, Saucy Shrimp, Bacon Wrapped Scallops or Ahi Tuna. For a smaller entrée option(if your not too hungry) try the Bang Bang Tacos or Baja Fish Tacos. The salads here are also large enough for a meal if your health conscious you must try the Florida Cobb or Grilled Salmon and Asparagus Salad. I’m also a big fan of their crab and corn chowder if you want something more hearty. The menu also offers a variety of grilled fish you can pair with different sauces like mango salsa, lemon butter, chimichurri, or pan Asian. For other seafood specialties I LOVE the Pecan Parmesan Crusted Rainbow Trout or Diablo Shrimp Fettuccine. If you are not a seafood fan do not fear! I think you’ll enjoy Lily’s Chicken, Chicken Marsala, or a nicely cooked steak. If you can fit in dessert I’d recommend the warm chocolate macadamia nut brownie :) Don’t forget they offer a full bar selection of cocktails, wine, and beer! What can I say this place is just great AND they started serving brunch on weekends!
