I am a huge coffee drinker but whenever I come here, it’s teas. I enjoyed a nice hot cup of Tropical Passion tea with my book as after-​Christmas shoppers filled the store. Despite the rush, the lines moved quickly and service was very accommodating. There are a few sofa chairs and two counter seats inside the coffee shop and three tables located outside. If you’re planning on coming here with some friends to sit and chat over coffee, the strong smell of the nail salon next door waves over on busy mall days, so you might need to sit inside.

Amazing service and amazing taste every single time! Seriously, this place has become my favorite coffee spot. The baristas are accommodating, talented, and friendly whenever I come in, no matter how busy it is. The company itself is one of the most honest coffee shop chains I’ve ever come across. No complaints here. :)

This particular coffee bean happens to be the best one in San Diego and California I would say. The employees are awesome, friendly, and cool to chat with. They make smooth awesome drinks and make them right :). Starbucks is crap compared deal with Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf, the flavor and quality are always better. I enjoyed always coming in to make drinks of my own creation.

I’m not much for flavored coffee so I usually get coffee and they have the best here. Their medium and dark roast are always on point and the customer service is great. On a side note for a treat I do enjoy their dark chocolate drink… amazing.

Love that this is sooo close! Butter pecan ice blended is a yummy addition this time of the year and looking forward to the incredible red velvet hot chocolate! The girls here are very nice and very helpful. Food is pretty fresh and displays are always clean and up to date. This one is not very crowded in the morning which is very nice! Parking is sometimes iffy because of the mall traffic but I still choose this over Starbucks!

I love this place and it is a top quality place for coffee, lattes, and teas and puts Starbucks to shame. 4 stars simply because of the lack of locations so I can quit going to Starbucks and there are only a couple of coffee shops worthy of 5 stars.

Sooooo good! Their coffee is fab and tastes like coffee! They used to have a cherry vanilla muffin heaven on earth! I have yet to try the other pastries. My daughter likes the pure chocolate frapp thingy I wish there were more locations… Seriously

Love this place! Friendly and happy staff are seen at this place. I always leave with a smile on my face. They have quite a selection from special coffees to unique teas (like the jasmine dragon pearl tea) & the chocolate croissants… my husband claims they are like no other. My family prefers you over Starbucks any day!

This location is located in the mall at Parkway Plaza on the west side. I ordered the original vanilla ice blended drink, but I had them add chocolate covered espresso beans into the mix. I was in the mood for a little snack, so I had them warm me a mini chocolate almond croissant (
).
The blended drink was terrific with its mild vanilla flavor and bits of chocolate covered espresso beans. The beans were well blended through out the drink and tasted great (
). The croissant was good. The almonds a top were crunchy and the chocolate drizzle creamy (
). The inside was very buttery, flaky and moist, and it had flavorful almond paste towards the center which tasted very good (
).
Service was nice by most of the employees. The young lady who took m order was very nice and had a pleasant personality, but the girl I inquired about the Wi-​Fi was a little grumpy which I did not appreciate. Just asking.
Great blended drinks and treats.

Oh how I love thee, let me count the ways…
Well I won’t count them. But fir all the times I have been here I have never had a drink made under my expectations.
Everyone is always friendly, and has a smile. This is a lot concidering they are located in a mall. I do wish they had more locations in Southern California.

In short, I would rather have one of THESE on every corner rather than a Starbucks. The service was excellent, taste exceptional and each serving no matter how small had an exquisite attention to detail (see my pic :)). You’re in the mall but the setup is like a cozy respite from all the hubbub (yeah I said hubbub, SO!?). If you’re in the mall, stop in, you won’t regret it.

I try to avoid Starbucks at all costs. Their coffee is wayy overpriced and not even good, IMO. So, I was pleased to see a coffee shop OTHER than Starbucks in the mall. I got the white chocolate latte and once I got past all the foam (not my favorite) it was yummy! I love that if you plan to drink the coffee there they put it in a glass mug for you. Very friendly staff and just an overall cozy, quiet place to get away from the crowds of the mall.

You wouldn’t think they’d have a good coffee shop in this «modern» mall in the city of El Cajon. But, I find this coffee shop is the best thing I look fwd too when I have to go to that «MALL» not a huge fan of this mall as you can see. But, the coffee shop I am.
So I try to look at the cup half full when I go there haha. Anyways good delicious iced mocha w/​low fat milk is my cup of coffee. They master it there, because again they use the «mexican mocha» which is so much better on its added with an Xshot of expressò. Just my personal opinion.
