Came here for lunch while on vacation and had the three chicken enchiladas with green sauce plate. The food was delicious and flavorful and the plate of enchiladas that included rice and beans cost under $ 7. The restaurant was busy during lunch, but we were promptly seated and complimentary chips and salsa were brought out immediately. Our waitress was friendly and personable.

Called our 4 plates of Gordita dinners order 20 minutes before closing. Arriced early, very pleasant atmosphere while waiting. We weren’t the only ones with this idea. 5 of us were hungry enough to wait for our food. I was told 10 minutes, but it took 20. Well worth the wait! Too much to eat in one sitting! Delicious, as well! The establishment is very clean in the dining area — did not visit the restroom. The waitstaff did a very thorough cleaning job, which is nice to see. on the exterior, you would expect a shabby hole-in-the-wall.

Swooped in at a slow time without the hustle and bustle of the lunch crowd to experience the awesomeness of Burrito House. BH is a little hole in the wall so make sure you are specifically looking for it or you’ll drive on by without realizing you did. Parking is very limited. Sat ourselves and was greeted by a server with menus. The inside is clean with a mom and pop feel. The menu has lots of choices with inexpensive prices attached. Our server didn’t seem to speak English very well when we asked a couple questions about a dish so we just opted to try a few burritos. Easy peasy. They don’t look like much but they taste really good. Homemade tortilla(at least it looked and tasted that way), perfectly seasoned meat, and real cheese. Yas! Satisfied stomach and wallet. Go check it out. I gave it 4 stars because I waited for 5 min after I sat down for a waitress to come to me, mind you it was not busy at all. The food tastes good, I asked for one flour tortillia and it was larger than normal, which is a plus. All the food there was cheap I will definitely go back because it is cheap and good food. My tea was great they have spanish music playing in the background. One of the waitresses speaks little english but she understands.

Stopped by here to pick up breakfast burritos. First impressions– The place is clean inside. We called in for our order so I had to wait at the counter. It seems employees were more interested in chatting it up instead of helping their paying patron. Finally they decided to help me but my burritos were still not done. Had to wait again. I finally got them, quickly paid for them and left. The flour tortillas were fresh. Very tasty breakfast burritos. I could eat the tortillas by itself with just butter. Soooo good but the service sucks.

I absolutely love this restaurant. Checked it out based on Unilocal reviews, and Unilocalers got this one spot on. Locals were saying that the line is often out the door for to go orders… and they’re right. CALLINYOURTOGOORDERS. Sorry for the caps lock… just trying to save you some time, my friends. Don’t be like this guy waiting for 45 minutes because he didn’t break that code before he showed up. No one was in front of me, so I thought it would be quick. Nope! There must’ve been 30 call in orders ahead of me. Sure enough the line was out the door by the time I left. The food is really good and the tortillas are the kind you write home about… or at least to other Unilocalers. Prices are very reasonable for the basics. You can eat very well for under $ 10. I usually add some ingredients to make mine gringo-style. I’ve eaten here 3x in 3 days. Yeah, it’s THAT good.

Well for a first time visit, not so bad. The service was almost as soon as we sat down, although it was broken english she understood what we said and got our order right as we wanted. The chips and salsa they serve wasnt to good. I do prefer a little salt on my chips and the salsa was pretty tasteless. I ordered the mole w/chicken and my Wife got the beef burrito with potato, cheese and ranch. My mole was good! I had mole at another mexican restraunt but I dont know which one was better. The rice and beans wasnt oversized and didnt take away from the main entrée. The flour tortilla was obviously freshly made and was amazing with my food. My Wifes burrito was«awesomely delicious» in her words. It was very very fresh with yet another freshly made tortilla. We ordered red salsa which didnt look like salsa at all, more like a red paste? Maybe? Anyways, it was spicy. As spicy as 2 mexicans in a heated stand off for 2 years spicy. The food is very reasonably priced and nothing was expensive. Very budget friendly restraunt. Very good. Definatly a must try and a must visit again!

I eat at this place more than 5 times a month so that can tell you that I enjoy the food, service, and well the prices. The burritos are delicious hence why they are called burrito house. I advise you eat there at least once in your visit to the northeast of el Paso

The food was decent but was disappointed in the blandness of the flautas I ordered. My husband had enchiladas that he was not thrilled about either. The service was friendly but lacked in speed. It took us over ten minutes after finishing our food to see the waitress for a check. In that time we were approached by two solicitors… I guess this business doesn’t mind letting their customers get harassed for money while trying to eat. No return visit for us.

Great place for amazing Mexican food. If your a tourist this is a must. It’s very decently priced and the taste is as closest to Mexican food on the border as you can get. Although the atmosphere isn’t so appealing the food makes up for it! A definite must for visitors

This is by far the best Mexican restaurant in Northeast. I have never had a bad meal from here. The menudo and beef tacos are especially good. They also have a variety of great burritos. No matter what you order it will be good.

I have enjoyed this small qant little family spot for some time. It gives off the ambiance of a small home resturant with the big city flare. Food is great I have returned countless times and have never been disappointed.

I came from California and this is the only place that taste like Cali/Mexican food. Great flour tortillas and burritos, service is sometimes mediocre or worse. Some servers cannot speak English but will get your order right 95% of the time. I have had no problems getting my order corrected and the good is worth it

This place is AWESOME! The burritos are super cheap and delicious. My favorite one was the chile relleno with beans. I absolutely love the menudo here. Perfect combination of hominy and panza. I also really like the fact that I don’t have to find a bank to pull cash out or pay a steep fee to use an ATM machine. They take your debit or credit cards just fine.
