Awesome food enjoyed everything we ordered I had been here about 15 years ago went back to visit El Paso and remembered this place had great food 15 years back guess what, still good food! I highly recommend.

Everything here is amazing. The chips are homemade. The salsas are good. The tacos are excellent. Their homemade corn tortillas are buttery and soft. Truly this was a fantastic meal.

We ordered two carnitas and two chicken tacos along with chicken enchiladas w red sauce. All the meats were dry and we were the first customers there! The red sauce was cold and the chips were really hard. Only bright side was the rice and beans

Wish I could give them 3.5 stars but I can’t. I recommend the carnitas and the chipotle chicken and the tacos. The huevos rancheros wasn’t that good. My friends really liked it and want to go back but I’m not sure I’d go back.

A wide range of different variety of meats and entrees friendly staff.
They start you off with fresh homemade tortia chips, and amazing green salsa :)

NEVER AGAIN… One star is too generous!!! We arrived and waited almost forever. Waiter was you busy chit chatting with customers he knew. Finally place our order (3 separate entrees) and only two arrived, the waiter never came back to check in with us. I finally got manager and explained, his response was, «no we treat everyone the same.» I responded with «serious, I’m telling you what we have just experienced!» After this, the manager when in the back and never appeared again. When waiter brought bill, he said, he would ask manager to give us discount, I said, no. I LEFT NO TIP. Before leaving, I spoke to manager again, and basically told him he and his staff need better training in customer service and what a shame that this was a Mexican restaurant because my people and my culture know how to treat everyone the same or better.

The food was delicious but the service was terrible. Our waiter took forever to take our order & it took a long time to arrive. The waiter was not much help. He forgot my tortillas. He took my drink to refill it but didn’t bring it back until I reminded him.

I has the tripitas tacos.
My dad HD top sirloin tacos.
I had asked her what kind of meet it was, she said just regular beef. I asked her to make sure they don’t grill my onions in butter.
Soggy, buttery onions, the «beef» was fried/​or just really over cooked and also was actually pug stomach. Then thought it would be good to put a whole spoonful of butter in my potato too.
My dad’s tacos were alright.
And let me tell you, I am a server and I know how the industry works, if I only eat ONE bite of something you got all wrong, I know damn well your manager will comp it off. And what did she do? Charged us for it. And also thought it would be a good idea just stand there in front of our table until we paid. HOW RUDE!!!
Will never go back there. EVER!

Salsa was great. We both got fajitas — chicken and beef. Chicken was a little over cooked and the beef could have been more tender. Pretty good flavor. Used some salt to enhance. The rice and beans were both excellent and the corn tortillas were the star of the meal. Pretty reasonably priced for portions. I’ll be back.

Lots of Mexican restaurants to go to here but this is my favorite. I’ve liked everything I’ve tried. It’s more restaurant-​like than café-​style which is a better atmosphere.

East Lansing, MI
This local El Paso chain was one of the many restaurants recommended during my short visit. As the host seated us at our table, we were greeted with salsa and chips. I enjoy going to Mexican restaurants because of this tiny detail. I enjoy snacking on chips and testing out different salsa selections while perusing the menu. The waiter was really friendly and accommodating. He answered all my questions with a smile. I was really surprised as to how quickly our drinks and food came out! Overall the service made me feel welcomed and it was quite refreshing! As for the food, my boyfriend got the carnitas tacos and I got the enchilada platter with red sauce and green sauce. We were pleased with our selections!

Never had the carnitas or tacos, just breakfast. But to be honest it’s not worth paying so much for bad service. I’m avoiding all locations for sure because these people haven’t done it once. It’s not really for kids to eat healthy. One last thing is that when they serve you drinks, they will take more than 10 minutes to bring them or appetizers. And the day wasn’t even busy. Poor service.

Great green chicken enchiladas as well as the combo plate. This is one place I know I will have to visit again. The prices are very reasonable and the service was excellent. I’m from out of town and this was recommended by and aunt of mine. I’m so glad she knew of this place. Cheers!

I ordered a lemonade (beyond sweet I had to dilute it with water –probably tap) I ordered carne asada tacos comes with three with rice and beans. I found something that to me looked like plastic I told the waiter he walks away and the female manager comes to the table and says, «it’s egg from the grill.» I asked, «ok I would understand that in the meat but why in the rice? «she said, «do you want me to make something else.» I then ordered red cheese enchiladas also rice and beans. The waiter only came by once to check on the table we had to find him to get the check so we can leave. The service was terrible. The food was decent but not the best.

Came to a Business Owners network and breakfast. I ordered the Charice, which includes smashed beans, a side of salad, and chorizo with eggs. Oh and it came with 2 flour tortillas. I’m pretty skeptical about chorizo and eggs so I was hoping it would taste good when I received my meal. Well I’ll be glad to tell you that the breakfast meal was great! The taste was amazing and not greasy at all! Breakfast at Carnitas Queretaro is very good!

Just stopped in for lunch today (11⁄17). The service was HORRIBLE. Our server’s name was Martha. She got our drinks wrong and our order wrong. Then she never came by to refill our drinks. Plus she took 20mins to bring us our check and another 20mins to take our payment. Never again.
