Great place. 2nd time to visit. Really bummed as were other customers who cam for a brunch — breakfast. They don’t serve past 11. Come Guys it’s the WEEKEND.

I’ve been here many times always good! It’s a small place so seating is tight. I’ve had the crispy artichokes hearts(good), tuna sandwich(yummy– ginger soy sauce is amazing), salads are ok. Burgers are good here too. Price point a little steep but worth it. Bacon wrapped shrimp are always cooked to perfection rarely too spicy. I Always get a tea pomegranate or piña colada, always good. Cumber mint water is refreshing on a hot summer day.

Absolutely horrible service. Our server, Alexa, is definitely the worst waitress there is. It is so obvious that she does not like her job and that she doesn’t have what it takes to be a server. She just had a bad attitude and made a face every time we asked for something. If you don’t like being a server at a restaurant that’s fine, but please do yourself and others a favor and get another job. The food is great, however it should be accompanied by great service. I’ve noticed Crave, Malolam, Stonewood, etc. just don’t focus on customer service, and even though their food is good, customer service should be just as important. And for this reason I will not be back here and will not recommend it. I hope they start hiring good customer service people soon, and not people that just want a job and don’t care.

I was a fan of crave way back when it opened… However since it was such a small location and not close to where my parents live I never went a whole lot. Now that this location is here I’ve remembered my love for Crave. Their chicken and waffles are perfect, I love their pancakes, and they even have a couple healthy breakfast options like the good start(egg whites, chic helm, tomatoes, and avocado… Add some Tabasco and yummy) Some people complain about their prices, but honestly their portions are enormous… I don’t mind paying 11 bucks for something that will satisfy my hunger two separate times. I haven’t been for lunch or dinner very recently, but I do remember that green chile Mac and cheese quite well and would like to try it again. My only complaint about this place is the small size of the tables and how crowded together they are. Being a lifelong Texan I love having space and this place just doesn’t have that… Who are we kidding though, we know I’ll be back for the fantastic food even if I do have to sit on somebody else’s lap.

Crave has revamped their menu & boy is it pricey now, but there are some really good new items. They’ve added a «sharables» section as well as some vegetarian items. I tried the ancient grains bowl which I think is vegan. It was pretty good, but super garlicky(like raw-tasting) & not good enough to order again. They also added another chicken & waffles dish that’s stuffed w/green chile & asadero & served w/green chile maple syrup(almost wish I wasn’t vegetarian!). I also tried a biscuit donut. I don’t like sweets, but it was so good! It came coated w/cajeta & pecans. It kinda tasted like a sopapilla but fluffy! P. S. Be sure to try The Mac Jammer burger! I created it & it won the You Burger Contest(thanks for your votes!). It’s got arugula, bacon-onion jam, fried avocado, red cabbage & dill pickle slaw, & green chile Mac & cheese sauce(not sure why it’s just the sauce without the Mac). It’s $ 14.50 but if you go on Tuesdays after 8pm, it’s only $ 5. You can also sub a veggie patty in any of the burgers.

I have only had breakfast here which was pretty good. I have gotten the veggie scramble that had fresh ingredients. The service can be a bit slow and its cramped but pretty good place overall. I really like their hashbrowns.

I ordered the shrimp & chorizo quesadilla to go and once I opened the to go box at work I was extremely disappointed. The condiments were not separated. The quesadilla had sour cream & guacamole on top which made the quesadilla super soggy. I took one bite and that is it. The shrimp had no flavor whatsoever. I threw the quesadilla away and have to say $ 13 for this was a waste. I will not be returning to this over priced establishment that serves mediocre food. Update: I contacted Crave and they will provided me a full refund.

I expected the same service as I do at the Cinci location which is always amazing! The entire time we were here we had about 3 different servers, idk if it was a shift change or something but I was not made aware of it I had to wait 20 mins for a beer, they also brought my party water in plastic cups stating that they were out of glass yet everyone else who’s come in after us had glass cups hmmm my friend got the ahi tuna sandwich that had no flavor and I got the pesto chicken sandwich which had little to no pesto sauce on it, I had high expectations of this place because I always have a great time at the other locations

I’m a big crave fanatic! This newest location fits right in with their other restaurants. Foods always solid. For breakfast the pancakes with bacon, for lunch chicken salad sandwich and for dinner crave burger. The only negatives I have to say about this particular location is service. It’s not up to par with the other locations and is very hit or miss. The place isn’t very old and has lots of signs of wear on the floor and in the restrooms. As for the wait, for the first few months or so it was pretty bad. That’s only because everyone has been dyeing for another location on the westside. Now it really isn’t bad at all, the size is perfect and it’s meant to be intimate. I love all of Pan Y Aguas concepts and I’ll be a crave regular for a long time!

If it hadn’t been for the great service and the apology of our server and her great attitude, this visit would have ranked a zero. Placed an order, sorry we are out. And we are out of that too, oh and we just ran out of the other thing you want. Three times«out». It seems to me that this location struggles when compared to the one on campus. Don’t get me wrong, good food but the loud music and lack of menu items makes it hard to recommend sometimes.

This is by far the best Crave out of the three. I don’t mind the small space and area at all because the food has always been fantastic no matter what I order. However what stands out the most about this location is the customer service. The waiters/waitresses at the other two locations don’t seem to care as much about the customer experience. The staff at this location is excellent. My waitress even brought me an extra serving of marshmallow sauce right before I finished my first side! Not only that but about 3 other staff members asked how we were doing and how our meal was. It doesn’t get any better than that. Not only did we have a good meal but felt appreciated. Must try this Crave location regardless of the wait time and the size of the establishment. Green chili mac and cheese is amazing!

Overall, I would say I had a great experience! We were seated on the far right at the high, bar-like tables. There were several flies, however, Which was kind of a downer, especially when one was dying and fell from the window onto the table. After a while, however, the flies were gone. Our waiter was fantastic! The food came out relatively quickly. We went at 2PM on a Thursday. I had the fried chicken sandwich. It was wonderfully cooked, and was a lot of food. It was a great value! I will definitely visit again!

I get what Crave is trying to do with their ambiance and overall feel, but I really recommend the owners consider getting a larger space. The food is always really good, my husband and I often go to brunch early enough for it to still be called breakfast, so we generally miss the large crowds and wait times. Without fail, though, it takes way too long for the food to come out. I don’t know if there is a more efficient way for them to cook that helps them get food out faster with the same quality, but it would help get them their fifth star. The service is always friendly, the food is always good, so four stars, I’m a fan! Just make sure if you’re heading over to Crave, you dont have anywhere to be in an hour or two. :)

Honestly this was a terrible experience. Should’ve taken the terrible star rating and reviews into consideration. Love the East side one — they are on point — so embarrassing for them to even have a West side location. Unorganized-I think three different people helped us. and not timely. They were all confused. Unapologetic-not one person apologized for the fact that it took an hour and half took get the appetizer. I still tried to think fairly and understand or believe they were understaffed(they weren’t) Several people walked out while I was there or didn’t receive items they ordered. Icing on the cake — out server argued with another table about something they didn’t receive. Needless to say; no tip. And I’m not embarrassed nor remorseful about it.

This is truly one of my favorite restaurants. Granted I’m talking about the one on Cincinnati. The west side Crave looks great, they remodeled it and the atmosphere is amazing. The food was delicious, same as always. The problem wasn’t the food it was the service. In a nutshell: 1) We were told the wait was going to be 20 – 30 minutes, we were there around 40 – 45 minutes in the cold until the hostess asked us if we wanted to sit at the bar. 2) They virtually have no waiting area and if you want to wait outside, they don’t have outdoor heaters, and if you want to wait in your car, you can’t because unlike big cities, they don’t have the text messaging system. We agreed to sit at the bar, which is much more spacious than the one on Cincinnati. The bartender was our waitress, and although she was extremely nice and always had a smile, she was a BAD waitress. A friend of hers was sitting at the bar, and she kept on talking to her for 5 – 10 minutes, until we interrupted her about our order. This happened the whole night. 3) My husband ordered a soup first and then a burger. The whole order came out all at once, leaving my husband’s burger standing while he rushed to eat his soup so his burger wouldn’t go cold. 4) The food was great. Again, this is no complaint. 5) The other bartender, Rene, was hustling, he removed some of our plates and offered his help plenty of times. 6) Our waitress’s friend left and another arrived when we wanted our check. So our check took another 10 minutes after we finished our food. When we went inside to sit at the bar there were some empty tables, like 2 or 3 tables. We wondered if they take reservations because there was a long wait outside and no one was moving. Overall, I think that since the service is lagging, the wait times are horrendous. I love CRAVE, but I hope the Westside one gets its act together.

Ive been to Crave on the east side and the original location near UTEP. This location was by far my worst experience. It seemed like all the beer options were out that night. The waiter came back 3 times to tell me they were out of the beer i wanted. Then when i finally picked a beer that they had in stock, the beer wasn’t cold. The restaurant manager came by to check on us and asked about our dining experience and had to let him know how disappointed i was. He didn’t offer to make things right which to me shows a lack of customer satisfaction. By the way, the owners were also there that night and not a single person came by to make things right. Now because of this single bad experience, i refuse to visit any single location owned by these guys(Crave, The Garden, Hillside or Stonewood) which is very unfortunate because the restaurants are cool and offer interesting food options. Wish i had better things to say about their customer service. See my review on stonewood which also was a poor experience.

West side version of my favorite breakfast place. Although it is still small, it’s much larger than the original. They have maintained the modern and cozy feel from the original as well as a nice large bar area. I’m sorry to see the Red Mountain Bistro leave, but I am very excited about having Crave on the West side. Service was good despite the place being packed. Also got lucky, didn’t have to wait for a table. Had the Crave version of Montecristo which was great! Also tried the Nutella waffles, not sure if that counts as breakfast or dessert! My coffee was refilled in very timely fashion throughout my stay.
