Texas Roadhouse

This Steakhouse used to be the place to go, but the last 2 visits we had were extremely disappointing. The steaks we had were overly salted and had a lot of grizzle.

Hostess took my name at 5:20pm, Had us seated by 5:35pm order water an a combo appetizer.good. pulled pork sandwich served dry. Not good,
But great customer service. From the minutes of check in with hostess to Server and management.

The bread is so great, it’s probably the best bread I’ve ever had. The cheese fries are to die for, my mouth waters just thinking about it. But there’s a draw back, the 2 hour wait. The waiting is the worst, it honestly took me two whole hours just to get seated. Very disappointed.

I would first like to say what an excellent job Jessica has done serving me at the bar. Extremely attentive and very professional. I came here for the 1^st time last week i believe christmas and then i came today and she remembered my name. Wow lol and i don’t even live in el paso and as a professional driver I’m constantly traveling :) makes me feel good as a customer and hopefully she reads this because the service she offered was outstanding. And would definitely come back for some more steak and potato skins. Very delicious compared to modern us restaurants like steakhouse or apple bees or outback. Well kept up place and friendly environment i would rate 5 stars

I prefer this location over the one in Austin. Service was good and the waitress was very attentive & nice. Yes, I’m the type that judges a place by the wait staff and of course food! This time I had the chicken tenders with steak fries, corn, and cream gravy. Everything was delicious and the fries had the right amount of salt and crispiness. The only problem was the loud ass music, especially since they sat us under a speaker. We did complain and they turned it down right away! I will be back again, try something different, and maybe have a cocktail or 2.

I have been to numerous Texas Roadhouse restaurants and they have all been decent. This one was horrible. They gave me the wrong steak, then they gave me the right one but it was more rare than peyton manning throwing an interception. Then finally after I already died of starvation they gave me the proper steak cooked the way I wanted. Won’t come back. Also I can make Kraft Mac n cheese at home, definitely thought the Mac would be homemade but it’s just microwaved easy mac.

This review is about the front staff and the food. Servers did a great job but the lack of service at the beginning and the food does not make up for it. Wait was over thirty minutes. I walked around and the place and they had many empty areas. Why businesses make you wait while there are empty tables is beyond me. They had four persons just hanging around the entrance doing nothing — put them to work on waiting those empty tables.
I have ordered the chicken– it was bland, chicken fried sirloin — it fell apart and was ok tasting, chicken fried chicken — this was better than the rest. The mashed potatoes were just horrible. They were not mashed. I had clumps of potato that I had to mash up myself. Why am I paying to mash my own potatoes? IS THIS U R COOKS? You know they failed in El Paso. Catfish is bland. The ribs are covered in sauce — this is Texas and it says Texas Roadhouse outside. Ribs should be dry with the sauce on the side. Texas Monthly pointed this out on their last trip to El Paso. Finally the steaks are medium to good. Try another Texas Roadhouse in El Paso but not this one.

Omg… this was my first tume here and enjoyed the atmosphere was amazing. Staff was super friendly. I feel in love with the fresh bread rolls and the butter that was given. Like I could have just eating that all night while drinking my beer. The steak was cooked to my liking and the sweet potatoe had the right amount of sugar and cinnamon on top. Definitely a place to come back too.

I only provide feedback towards services/​customer service received that are either superb or unsatisfactory. This has nothing to do with the food. I have been eating at TR for years, and the service are always good to great. This is my second encounter of bad service of TR (this location and another location) all within the last 2 weeks or so. We arrived at a good time, only 2 families were waiting. The Host took us to the side area (paralleled to I-​10). Our waitress name started with «T», people started leaving as we were getting our food, so within minutes our area became empty. The little things came along during our dinner, like our drinks and bread were only refilled once. Our side salads didn’t come at the beginning, we had to tell her when she came with the entrees. Our bill was charged with an extra adult meal that I didn’t even eat, let alone see the entrée made to our table. When she dropped the bill she left and we didn’t see her around the area for a while, we had to wait for her to dispute the incorrect charge. Then she told me that I would see the refund in few days in my bank account. Seriously?! That’s the first, usually waitress inform the manager and it gets resolved. I was so frustrated about the whole wait and her service throughout the night that just left without asking for manager. Hope she/​he read this feedback.

We came here on a Friday and I gave it 4 stars because there was a 45 minute wait time to get seated. But once our server Karen came to greet us everything was smooth. They serve you fresh biscuits to start with. Service was excellent, food was just right and delicious and in order. Refills were taken care of. I would come here again with my family.

Delicious! Texas Roadhouse is one of the best place to eat stake and fried pickles. The décor inside the restaurant makes you feel like if you were in the old west. This restaurant is amazing good I highly recommend it.

Was seated at the bar. Got s rum and coke, rum seemed weak but good. Took my order quickly. Had the peanuts while I waited for my dinner. Ordered the ribeye steak. The came in about 30 – 40 minutes. The food was hot and cooked to perfection The second run and coke was captain Morgan and it was very good. The steak was cooked medium rare luck I asked and plenty of mushrooms also like I asked for. The service is great (Kim). I would recommend this place to anyone.

Went for my birthday today 4÷29÷15 it was my first time going and I must say it was the best food I’ve ever tasted. The steak was made well and had tons of flavor! All the employees were very kind and helpful, it was a great environment. Overall the food was great, and they have tons to choose from. I recommend eating here!

Arrived around 7 and got a seat right away. The ribeye was cooked nicely and soooo big. Waiting staff are very friendly.

This is actually one of my favorite chain-​restaurants. One of the best tasting steaks I have ever had actually came from this restaurant. However, it seems this place can be hit-​or-​miss. Overall, I have had great experiences at this location.
My last visit was oustanding. My steak was PERFECT. Not the best, but my best ever is hard to top. The sides tasted great, and the service was excellent (I am a tough sell on customer service, because I spent so much time working in customer service myself!). The bartender knows what he is doing, because my mixed drinks were perfect as well. My wife and I had a wonderful evening, and these guys here definitely added to that!
TRH is great for a casual date night, or just a good place to feed the family. Birthdays are cool too, especially for kids. The staff brings out a desert and a saddle. The birthday boy/​girl then sits on the saddle and the staff songs their birthday song real loud (enough for the whole restaurant to hear. It is pretty cool. We are gonna take my eldest son there for his next birthday.

The rice is so damn good. The chicken fried dinner was excellent. The fries paired with honey mustard is the icing on the cake. We had a great server who actually made us feel welcomed and important and didnt show up every time the sun becomes dormant. Great place to have dinner.

I wasn’t able to Unilocal yesterday due to the signal in the restaurant but here it goes! Got to the place about 5:30, perfect time to go as there was no wait. Waitress was super nice, although I don’t remember her name because she only came around a few times to see how we were doing. The food is always great and as usual, it was fantastic last night.
I typically smoother my steak! It was delicious. If you haven’t tried it, give it a shot.
We left about 7 and the place was super crowed and plenty of people waiting in line.
Overall, this place is not a bad place to dine. Not high end and priced perfectly for what is offered.

Service is Very Poor, an hour wait with empty tables. Not enough servers scheduled, many customers left due to the wait. After an 1:15 waiting for our table, service was very slow.
Won’t recommend it to anyone, next time I’m in El Paso it try somewhere else.

Oh Texas Roadhouse, you. I love you, I love you so hard. This will forever be my favorite Texas Roadhouse because none of the other TR’s do me like they do me here. Always friendly, always fast, always good.
I’ve noticed quite a few changes here over the years and I’d say they’ve all been for the better, but the only thing that hasn’t changed is those ridiculously mouthwatering steaks. Holy moley. You need not order anything else… just get a 12 oz. steak at minimum.
While waiting for your food you can snack away on dinner rolls with cinnamon butter. Drool… Or pop some peanuts in your chomper. You can still throw shells on the floor, but in the past couple of years I’ve noticed they pick up the shells a lot quicker. Thumbs up for cleanliness while still allowing a tradition. There is also a full bar here, but I almost always order a Strawberry Cowboy Cooler because it’s simply fantastic.
I’m a medium to medium-​rare kinda girl unfortunately there aren’t a whole lot of place that will properly prepare a steak, but this TR never let’s me down. Always cooked exactly how I order. Personally I think these steaks are seasoned perfectly and don’t need A-​1 sauce, but it’s available if you must. The only thing I like on top of my steak is grilled onions. Also, you can ask for a side of the steak seasoning which goes great with the steak (obviously) or on top of potatoes. And the sides are just as good. The corn and loaded baked potato are my go-to’s.
And I must tell you that there are two things that you are bound to always see at this TR. The first is the line dancing (which now includes male employees… does anyone else think that they should be dressed a little more ummmm western?) and the second is someone sitting on the saddle. I swear every single time I’ve been here it’s someone’s birthday so you’ll learn their b-​day song before to long.

Texas Roadhouse is one of those chains that serves a decent meal and a pretty fair price. This Texas Roadhouse sure gets busy. I had an early dinner and by the time I left at 6 PM, this place was packed. I have never had a bad service experience at a Texas Roadhouse and shouldn’t since they are always stacked with servers everywhere. Some are even just standing around doing nothing but waiting. I’ve always known Texas Roadhouse for their bread and their ribs. Tried the ribs years ago and wasn’t a fan. Their bread, however… is heaven.
What’s good…
–Their Bread of course. I’m not sure if it’s the roll itself, the butter, or the cinnamon that gives this their flavor. These are served in a huge basket and have yet to say «No». Regardless, you can’t stop at a Texas Roadhouse and not get their bread.
–Steak Kabobs: You get the steak, not the stick. I had mine served with rice and mushrooms. This is never a bad option if you’re looking for some protein in your diet. Safe choice.
–Ribeye: Not bad, not great. I’ve had better. Maybe next time I will get mine medium instead of medium well.
I’m in El Paso at least once a month and I know, there’s plenty of other options out here. But you’ll still find me here every once in a while since they’re safe, consistent, and I know what to expect when I’m at one.
