The food was amazing. No seating, take out only. Great for a river walk or geo cache

My mother introduced this place to me on the Saturday before Easter. We ordered for a family get together, for about 20 ppl. When I went to pick up the order all I could think was«I hope this is good.» When I walked in I was greeted promptly and with a smile. We were asked how we could be helped and we told the we were there to pick up an order. As we waited we were offered a taste of some brisket, turkey and their home made kolaches(poppy seed and apricot). Everything was delicious. I noticed that they cryovac everything. If you don’t think this is a big deal you are mistaken, it keeps everything fresh and the meats moist and juicy. I was able to talk to Vic himself and the first thing I noticed was his passion for what he does and his respect for the food that comes out of his kitchen. I would recommend this place to everyone. If you are a fan of TRUEBBQ, not that chain stuff that is popping up everywhere, this is the place for you. FYI their bread is homemade and it’s a beautiful thing. Their beef jerky is amazing as well.

Delicious food! Went to this place when I was in EP last and I was blown away by their flavorful BBQ. I don’t even really like brisket but I would order their brisket anytime, any day. The people here are so nice as well they offer samples and recommendations. I just love, love this place and will visit in the future when ever I’m in town.

My husband discovered this place a couple of months ago. The west side is pretty limited on good bbq places, so we were very excited to stumble upon this little place. It used to be a grocery store called Buena Vista. When you walk in a very friendly staff greets you and they are very helpful with navigating the menu selections. They even offered us samples! My sister and mother chose brisket, my husband and I chose turkey and chicken. We all shared an assortment of sides which were very good but the meats were out of this world. Our chicken and turkey were among the juiciest we’ve ever had. My sister doesn’t even like brisket and she gobbled it up! I wish I knew what kind of seasoning they use because it doesn’t even need bbq sauce. To finish it all off they had very yummy Kool-aid pies for only $ 1! I hope Vic’s is here to stay because it’s my favorite new place. It’s a very affordable, delicious take-out option. There are tables outside which would be a good idea in nice weather.
