Gossip Salon II

I have been getting facials from Tahira and highly recommend this salon and their services! The facials put me to sleep every time, they are so relaxing. They come with a mini neck and shoulder massage which is heavenly. I like that all the products used are natural, quality stuff. I’ve bought a few products like serums and cleansers and they have worked on my skin as well as my sisters. I always leave glowing. I’ve enjoyed the mani and pedis I’ve gotten here as well and without the overwhelming fumes that surround you at a traditional nail salon. I really like this place and I love the skin treatments offered here!

I thought I’d never find a new stylist so easily after mine moved — but what luck I had today! Such a nice, clean, relaxing place — right in my neighborhood! Carla did a fabulous job with my hair, and I’ll definitely be back!

Went the other day, walked in and no one at the desk. Few minutes later a lady walked in on her phone still talking to whoever, then it was obvious she worked there. She informed whoever that she needed to hang up cause she had a client. Little unprofessional. I asked for a waxing, but the girl who does it was at the other location. Was trying to ask questions about the services and the woman could careless she acted like I was asking foreign questions! She seemed she just wanted to get back to being outside on her phone. Very un-​helpful! I walked out. I see why they had 0 customers! Would rather spend my money on a place that at least pretends to care! No biggie went next door at got my waxing and pedicure! Will go somewhere else to have my hair done.

Love this salon! My hairdresser Katrina moved here so I followed her. She is wonderful! They are very courteous and flexible here when scheduling hair appointments.

I bought a Unilocal deal and Maria did my hair while I was there. She cut it exactly how I like it and my highlights were great! I’ll be going back to her.

I’ve been here twice. I like this place. It’s very clean and fashionable interior design. I’m sure I’ll be back here.

Maria was super helpful and patient with our process! After being turned down by almost a dozen salons prior to finding Gossip Salon II due to the complexity of the color process we wanted, They took us in with open arms. Even though we had very difficult and specific requests relating to hair extensions, they were able to figure out how to do all the hair and it turned out great! I definitely recommend Gossip salon!

I’ve be going to Krystle for 12 years, and having extremely blonde hair its hard to find a hair stylist that can give me a decent hair cut. There is no one better than Krystle. Gossip Salon II also has very modern and up to date equipment to get the job done. I highly recommend them.

Love this salon! I followed Rachel Jones to this salon from Sorelli’s and I much prefer this little spot! The salon is very clean and very nicely decorated. I also like that they have a tanning bed option. The prices are reasonable and as always Rachel does amazing work! :-)

Rachael Jones has been cutting my hair for years now and is the only one that ever will again. She is the best hair stylist I have ever had. My hair is very hard to cut properly and she is the only one that has got it right! She is also a wonderful person and takes time to know you as a person as well as a client. She is all around gorgeous inside and out!

I had found a Unilocal deal as well, so was happily surprised to see some reasonable prices and be able to afford a quality haircut.
Rachael was my Stylist, and let me know there in fact 2 Rachels at this salon — her, and the one that has recently relocated to this salon.
I went in for a cut and highlight. Highlites are FANTASTIC. When you spend 4 hours in the chair, for the appointment, it’s nice to have good results.
The haircut was chopping off about 8 inches, and this is what kept me from 5 stars. I had articulated 4 – 5 times what I’ve told other stylists to maintain the hair cut I really like over the years. I just couldn’t get Rachael to cut the hair short enough. I didn’t have a picture with me, but I didn’t know how to be any more direct than «where this piece is starting to flip out, cut it right there, all the way around»
I gave the length I ended up with a chance, and while it’s not what I had wanted, it’s not horrible either. I have scheduled a followup trim appointment in April so hopefully this one goes a little smoother.

Like the location and LOVE Rachael! She gave me great ideas and freshened up my look. She took my lifestyle and styling into account and it made for an easy to maintain look.

I love Gossip. Mary has been doing my hair for about a year now (i followed her to this salon when she started here) and i could not be happier.
For about 3 years i had super long, dark hair that could not be tamed. This past February, after her suggestion, we cut it all off. It was definitely and evolution. First we cut 4 inches off, then another 6 the next week and finally another 3. It’s so short in back she had to use neck hair trimmers (yikes!) but now it’s adorable and angled in front and last week we highlighted it. I haven’t ever had hair that needed such regular upkeep but mary is very patient with me and always teaches me new ways to do it and keep it fresh and cute.
i also get my eyebrows done here. no raggedy lookin brows on this girl.
go here. and then go next door to Mr. C’s to get lunch.

Chic new salon brings a touch of much needed class to the east side of Elgin. It’s very conveniently located with ample parking.
I walked in without an appointment to get a much needed haircut. Kim Johnson knew exactly what I was trying to achieve & did it. Very pleasant and clean!
Kim also explained the tanning options & gave me a tour. I will definitely being using this salon for all of my beauty needs! Thank you!

So very glad we discovered this salon last month! The interior is warm and inviting, the owner and her staff are great. I highly recommend Keri for any styling needs. The color and cut of my hair never fails to get compliments. The tanning beds work wonders — I had immediate results that, so far, have outlasted any other beds I have used. Overall this salon is a welcome addition to the Elgin community. I will definitely be going back again!
